- Amazone’s new ZA-M 02 mounted spreader can now be specified with the EasySet 2 in-cab terminal. This electric control unit enables a constant application rate to be maintained irrespective of forward speed as well as offering many other easy-to-operate functions and comfortable setting options. In addition to this, both spreader models boast a new look.
Higher precision - save costs, protect the environment
With EasySet 2, Amazone offers an attractively-priced solution for automatic spread rate regulation at varying forward speeds for the ZA-M. In this respect, the size of the apertures are adjusted by automatically setting the shutter position in such a way that the application rate always remains the same. This means that the operator is not forced to maintain a constant forward speed but can speed up or slow down depending on the size of field and the ground conditions. The operator has the option of using an X-sensor (counting pulses), a signal cable (transmission of the tractor speed) or a GPS antenna to determine or transmit the speed signal.
EasySet 2, in conjunction with the electric shutter control, has the added advantage that the application rate can be adjusted very precisely and on the move, in order to avoid wastage, save costs and protect the environment. The desired application rate is simply entered into the in-cab terminal to the exact kilogram and this can be easily increased or reduced from the cab on both sides or either side during the spreading process. This also applies when carrying out side, border and water course spreading.
More comfort
EasySet 2 does not require any menu prompting meaning that each button only has one function and is very easy to use. In this way, the shutter slides can be opened and closed electrically to both sides or one side. Simple entry of the required spread rate in the terminal eliminates the need to leave the tractor cab and make manual adjustments to the setting scales on the rear of the machine. All that is needed is a 12 V power connection for the in-cab terminal, meaning that, as oppose to hydraulic shutter control, any hydraulic connections to the tractor can be dispensed with.
Another special feature is the integrated hectare meter, which allows the user to keep an eye on the machine output at all times. The terminal also has a total area counter.
The new machine control system is rounded off by the extremely convenient function of semi-automatic rate calibration and the emptying of residual amounts.
New look
After a facelift, the tried-and-tested ZA-M mounted spreaders look more like the ZA-V and ZA-TS models and now make up a uniform "ZA family".
The basic models remain unchanged in terms of their working widths and hopper capacities. The ZA-M 02 series offers flexible working widths from 10 to 36 m and covers hopper sizes from 1,000 l to 1,500 l, which can be increased to up to 3,000 l by means of extensions with narrow or wide filling openings, depending on the size of the farm.

Two years ago i changed my old ZAM because of rust holes. Dealers assured that meanwhile there is a totally new quality of paint . Now my new machine rusts same as the old one...disappointing!

Yeah, mine's all rusted out too... No primer, just paint on bare steel... no wonder they rust
You need to use primer and some better paint on your machines. My 2012 mod. ZA-M 1501 started rusting after only two years...now there's rust holes everywhere on it...
"Made in Germany"....Lol..
Try Sulky, they offer a 7 year warranty against perforation by rust.

Er müsste doch eigentlich deutlich höher als der Bestand sein?

die Anbauhöhe passt soweit - zur Erzeugung von Qualitätsgetreide ist eine Spätdüngung von Vorteil. Mit AMAZONE Streuscheiben ist dieses Verfahren durch Hochklappen der serienmäßigen Schwenkflügel an den Streuschaufeln beim ZA-M sehr einfach möglich. Die Anbauhöhe des Streuers wird mit Hilfe der Traktor Dreipunkthydraulik so hoch eingestellt, dass der Abstand zwischen Getreidespitzen und Streuscheiben ca. 5 cm beträgt. Ausführliche Informationen findest du auch in den passenden Streutabellen sowie der Betriebsanleitung dazu.
