some people don't enjoy change. However, the Banshee has been a staple for the other halo games and thus may have come across as more reliable. That, and banshees can swoop dodge. Hornets can't.
I wonder how pissed Chief was when he saw the remake of the Halo he just blew up a few months before, and then, after that, going back into High Charity. I think this video demonstrates it pretty well.

Chief 117 Spartan laser is only good if you can aim it. Which marines can't. They also can't drive. ^_^
