I’m so happy you kept the original audio and added captioning, thank you!
It certainly was some work to do but I felt it was important to keep the authentic voice.
I'm 10 min in and taking a break. I want to watch the tools at work but I'm busy reading these damn captions. Please do voice dubs!!
@@jeffb321 agreed.
@@jeffb321 Agreed
He speaks clearly, good to understand by just listening.
To echo another commentor: I am glad you kept Mr. A Marca’s French intact. It gives us a better grasp of what he’s saying as certain phrases are not an exact translation. Ex: when the subtitles say “In the past,” A Marca says “à l’époque.” The use of époque here (~epoch, In English), evokes a grander story to me, as if he had said “during that age.” Anyway, it’s just a small point, but it is nice to see as an intermediate French speaker :)
Of course this is not to bash the English subs, I think they actually do quite well at simplifying A Marca’s speech :3
@@benjamintchang3923 "in the past" is correct. "a l'epoque j'etais etudiant" - "I was a student then"
One of the most underrated watch brands out there…💯
Definitely not underrated unknown yes but then most people know nothing about the watch world outside of rolex and omega
Underrated? Did the definition change recently, like men can get pregnant now?
Underrated for the watchtubers under 30 that only know rolex, patek, RM and AP. Even if u tell them about vacheron they dont know
I actually study to become a watchmaker à la Vallée de Joux and its nice to see the insides of the various manufactures that i see every day. Great job Teddy as always
All the best ✨.
If you don't mind me asking,
1. How much did you pay for the education?
2. What's the job prospect you can get? I assume its for the brand watch, but how often do they take in new makers?
3. How sustainable is the job, and how well do they pay on average?
4. is it tedious work as you expected?
Happy owner happy to watch a top quality video like this. More Breguet and less overpriced stainless steel Rolex!! Thanks Teddy
"More Breguet and less overpriced stainless steel Rolex!"
I will absolutely second that. I barely have any interest at all for Rolex anymore.
This channel is by far the most elegant of all when it comes to watch content. No drama, no raising your voice. just class. congratulations
Holy smokes.
Whether people like it or not, Teddy's name has been making its way onto very important Rolodexes.
How we've come such a long way.
😉
and he's still the humble friendly guy we've known since forever👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
@@michaelfierman3256
Indeed.
I remember Teddy also took us watch shopping at Wal-Mart or some department store but was ignored by employees. 😂
What's a "rolodex"?

As a french I do approve the non sub voice choice Teddy. Thanks for sharing this great piece of horology and company.
Moi aussi :) (je parle un peu de français)
Subtitles are a distraction; especially when white type shows over a white background. I can't rad and watch the full video and enjoy the experience. I enjoy hearing the Danish language because Dad came from there. I don't speak Danish.
Me to in general, i dislike voice dub, like they do in a lot of one language country’s, but here it makes me read the sub texts instead of focusing on the fantastic filming and closeups 🤷♂️
I don't care how much they cost - Breguet watches are a bargain. Their watches are works of art.
Agreed!
Yes
Absolutely man
100%
It is simply mind blowing the amount of precise work and craftsmanship that goes in those watches. One of the best videos to appreciate the art of watchmaking. Thanks much for sharing this with all of us! 😊
Wonderful! What a joy to have someone who is so knowledeable and comfortable with his field that he can explain such complex processes in an understandable way (even in translation). And the seoond part presented timepieces which were aeshetically stunning, technically revolutionary, and staggering engineering achievements. Well done Teddy, and thank you.
Absolutely splendid, thank you so much for this wonderful insight into such a special watch company.
Amazing tour and insight into Breguet watchmaking. Thank you!
Breguet owner here, thanks Teddy for the wonderful insight. One of the few brands out there where I would be never tired of desiring another piece. Sadly they haven’t touched on Type XX and XXI, which is in of itself a piece of history and how two branches of the family (watchmaking and airplane manufacturing) contributed to the style. Type XX/XXI is also the most accessible of the lineup yet shows all of Breguet’s elegance in a pil mil watch
@Makaan - agree! The TypeXX/XXi is my grail watch - i even fantasize they make a “modern” version that is (almost) affordable😊!
@@johnmoorefilm yes, if only they made those OnlyWatch pieces as a serial product, say hand wound with an open caseback in steel? Oh my goodness, I’ll run to Breguet’s boutique the same very day
My goodness. Of every and any video I’ve watched that was by far the most amazing. If you even remotely enjoy watches or even understand the history of Breguet only slightly then this is a must watch. I love watches and that just elevated it by 100 times. Watch this video!!! Wow!!
I’ve been waiting for this video for so long. Thank you so much Teddy, can’t wait to get my first Breguet this year!
Thank you for making such beautiful mechanical horological masterpieces of the highest order Breguet!
One of the best watch videos ever! If you own a Breguet you know how they feel hand made/finished compared to so many other brands - they just ooze craftsmanship which this video has captured perfectly. The CEO is wearing the titanium 5517 marine which is the most comfortable watch I've ever worn. Breguet seems to be the best kept secret in watch collecting and for me that is also part of the appeal. Thank you Teddy for encapsulating what makes Breguet so special.
Haha je ne m'attendais pas à si bien comprendre !
My compliments to you, Teddy, and those who work with you. This was certainly a professional level of production at all levels. It was clear that you and your team were very respectful of the process and took the time to capture that beautifully through the camera, the dialogue and the multitude of other background areas required for such a production. You and your team deserve the plaudits and success you receive. Would be fascinated to see the Grand Seiko edition. Thank you.
This is truly a magnificent video! I almost feel like selling my house and going out and buying a Breguet.
That rose engine room is just something else.
Those watches presented are just so masterful.
Watchmaking at the top level
Video making of Watchmaking at the top level.
Your love and appreciation of this brand has always shone through
And this video serves as the best justification.
Just wow. Well done
Thank you so much, Teddy. Without you, we'd never have access to such rich history of various watch brands. Thoroughly enjoy all these tours!
Great video teddy! Breguet should be part of the holy trinity
Once again, Teddy provides some of the best content on the platform. I can't think of another content creator that delivers as varied a collection of topics within our shared love of things that go tick. Thanks again Teddy.
A brand for connoisseurs and true watch enthusiasts! Amazing video, thanks Teddy!
Teddy one of my favorite videos without doubt. Breguet is an incredible watch company with rich history created by genius Abraham Breguet who in my opinion is The Godfather of horology. Inventor of the Tourbillion and so many other amazing inventions. The watch of kings and queens and famous leaders in history. Absolutely beautiful you showed us in latter part of video. Art, beauty and movement all combined in a watch. Stunning Breguet without doubt. Great job Teddy👍👍👍
Also noticed the CEO is wearing the Marine 5517 Titanium with grey dial! Fantastic watch great taste!
This was amazing. Love Breguet and right now they are one of the last great deals in high horology but that is not going to last forever. Of course Swatch would have to discover them first.
This episode is a real treat for me because my grail is the Reine de Naples. It was lovely to know more about the history of Breguet and the art of guillochage. The tour being in French was a bonus!
What an incredible introduction to high horology! As a novice watch enthusiast, this was really eye-opening and enjoyable. Many thanks!
I'm new to horology, and these videos has just opened up a new world for me. Wow these are absolutely amazing watches! Seeing how they are made has given me a newfound respect for timepieces.
drink every time Teddy says " can you describe waht happens here specifically "
never clicked a vid so fast, my favorite brand haven't watched yet but jealous ahead of time for what I'm about to see you get to do
Many of these watches cost more to buy than my flat, but they're truly impressive. Especially the Queen of Naples, with the balance rotating through about half of the movement. Incredible.
Right?! That’s horology at its finest
This was great. Incredibly done. Alex went here a few years back, but this was far more comprehensive. I'll take that 7337 in white and blue please.
Absolutely amazing. I've been saving this video so I could watch it without interruptions. I'm glad I did.
Absolutely GREAT video!! Thanks for showing the Manufacture!!! It is really amazing.
Thanks for these great manufacture tours Teddy!!! Great to finally see the magic behind Breguet!
Absolutely amazing pieces and processes. Thanks Teddy!
Just incredible. Will be viewing this a few more times. Thanks as always for your hard work!
Wonderful video! Show us more Breguets.
I love how much passion for the craft the CEO has
This is an incredible video; thank you Teddy and thank you Breguet. I first read about the rose engine in George Daniels autobiography then learning a bit more was mind blowing. To see so many in one place must have been emotional! Delightful to see modern micrometer controlled table slides mounted and modern cutting tool inserts; efficiencies to a skilled craft. How amazing to see the Marie Antoinette watch; timeless in design it could have been made yesterday (well, the one in the video was!). Fascinating.
This was an exceptional tour. Thank you for making that happen, Teddy. I would have loved you to go through even more watches at the end. All those details are fascinating. :)
Outstanding video! Thank you for this.
Simply amazing! So much history, craftsmanship, and genius! Great video!
Wow, you out did yourself this time, that was both enlightening and amazing. Thanks Teddy.
Teddy and team, you guys have outdone yourselves on this one. Thank you
Thank you for this video. I have been looking forward to more videos on Breguet, they are an amazing watch brand.
Teddy, been following you for a while now. You have rapidly become my favorite and go to watch channel on the platform. Thank you for your unrelenting passion and hard work!
Been there on 11/2022
Amazing, and the hospitality was also amazing. Just being there, you understand why these companies' watches are so expensive, and worth every penny. At the end of the visit, I even told them that after seeing the whole process, they sell them too cheap.
This was a truly enlightening presentation of probably the most underrated and significant watch brand that ever existed. In a tech dominated and driven world, it's absolutely refreshing to see so much handcrafted work taking place by artisans who can truly call themselves masters. Those examples of watchmaking they displayed are utter works of art. I've always admired Breguet designs from afar, but I've recently taken steps to enrich my collection with one.
Fantastic video! Incredible craftsmanship needed to make these watches. I'm glad to know people like this still exist. They are a dying breed.
Teddy, these videos are real works of art, it's great that watch and watchmaking enthusiasts have a chance to see how our dream watches are made. Awesome, thank you so much for what you do on this channel.
Wow. That was wonderful!
Outstanding video Teddy, thank you!
Thanks for such remarkable work!
One of my favorite maisons. What a video Teddy!
this is why I subscribe to you channel, once in a while you give us a beautiful jewel. Thank you.
Best TB video thus far.
Great video! This is what comes to mind for a luxury watch with the finishing and hand work that the watch receives. A luxury watch is not just a mass manufacturered watch imo with plain finishing on the rotor, movement, case, and dial. Bravo Breguet!
Awesome work Teddy! Thanks!
Great video , I like those manufacturers visits. Keep going with this series. !!
Exquisite craftsmanship and such beautiful timepieces!
Amazing. Thanks for this video.
Wow! I have a new appreciation for Breguet! Great video!
Love content like this Teddy, keep it up!
Best watch video I've seen from anyone to date... Excellent sir
Much respect for Breguet! Great stuff once again, Teddy B.
This material is so relaxing that it's like a weekend meditation for me :) No joke
I also like you keep original French voice. It makes it really authenic
With a strong swiss accent ! 😅
This is the best video you've done Teddy!
Another home run segment Teddy and shot very well too I might add. Thanks for the peek behind the curtain, what a classy watchmaker.
Awesome video Teddy, thanks.
I love Breguet watches, the Tradition 7097bb is my “money no object, holy grail” watch.
To behold such work, I find myself torn between two words. Exquisite and sublime.
That 5395 might be the nicest watch I've ever seen.
Breguet are without a doubt my favourite brand, and this was a great insight into why.
You've done my top 3 favorite Swiss brand, no joke. Now I want to see Japanese and German brands like glashutte original or grand seiko.
As a native French speaker, I can confirm that this guy is as smooth and well-spoken as they come.
Pure class. Thanks Teddy!
This was an great video and thank you. My only wish is that your would have talked more about the history of the Breguet hairspring and how that piece of tech can still be found in EVERY luxury watch. Great factory tour!
I'm a guy with a Suzuki GSXR750, 2002 Sequoia with 260,000 miles and here I am watching this. Watches I'll never see, let alone afford.
I may be a poor motorhead on the internet, but you and I apparently aren't that different now, are we? lol. Gears turn, synchronized in perfect timing. To me, 15,000rpm and a never ending motor are just as cool as a watch made to the same mechanical skill and precision.
*Sips PBR.
It’s astonishing how you can get a proper gold Breguet at the price of steel AP/Nautilus
Finishing is just a work of art on every watch and its better priced than many other watches. You should have money and fine taste to consider a Breguet and a little bit of watch knowledge as well.
Teddy we love this series and you interest love it
one of the best watch related video I've seen.
Fantastic presentation of the most beautiful watchmaking 👌❤️
been waiting on this one
Awesome !!
Nice video mate 🥃
Excellent content!
thank you teddy this is one the greats for sure
Amazing insight! Never can afford such a watch but it is crazy what they are doing!!
Thanks AMAZING VIDEO
Amazing Bravo Teddy !
This level of precious craftmanship. No match !
It was a Breguet exhibition at a museum that inspired me to begin looking at high end watches. Someday.....
Teddy, bringing the content!
Teddy, your best video so far!
Incredible beauty ❤. Thank you 🙏
Thank you for doing this video. People need to know more about Breguet watches and that the modern Breguest watches continue to be up there at the top of the table of haute horlogerie. Credit has to be given Nick Hayek Sr. in doing so much to preserve traditional watch decoration and finishing skills via Breguet. Not only is Breguet doing those, they are also advancing watchmaking in their own way. They showed one of the best examples in point, the Hora Mundi calibre.
It was great that they showed you The Marie Antoinette watch and the sympathique clock-and-watch. Would have been nice if they have shown the Double Tourbillon (5345 - the skeletonised version), La Musicale (7800), and the Tradition Independent Chronograph (7077) as well. Hopefully there are more Breguet watches filmed at the manufacture that you have not shown us in this video.
Thank you for making this video 📹 💜

Teddy learning us many things in state of art in watchmaking must say Bravissimo ☆☆☆☆☆
