I folllwed your guidance for a bamboo spoon, adjusting the size and it didn’t even engrave it? I don’t want to break the machine

Hi there! Apologies for the late response - have you measured the thickness of your spoon? Sometimes it doesn't engrave at all if the spoon is too far away from the laser due to the measurement inputted. Feel free to send over any screenshots to my email [e-mail] and I'd love to help you!

How did you know what setting in manual to choose? Just trial and error?

Hi!! Yes, definitely trial and error. I also have the Glowforge Pro, so I took the settings from there and it kinda helped guide me for the settings for the Aura. Hope this helps! Workin’ on more settings for ya!

I’m try to cut a file in the aurora but is coming out dark really dark how can I change that

Hi there! You can adjust the settings (power and speed) ever so slightly so that the engrave doesn't come out too dark or deep. Feel free to send over any screenshots to my email [e-mail] and I'd love to help you!

Can you help with a bamboo lid for the glass soda cups? What settings?

Hi there! Does the bamboo lid come off? If so, the engrave settings for bamboo (speed 60, power 5, lines per in. 160) should work the same. Just make sure to get the thickness and input as an uncertified material.
