Being able to fully customize your own Daemon Prince is the coolest thing i never thought could happen. Its now seriously difficult to pick a race to play first

I just want to say one thing: this is probably the best thing that CA could've ever done. So many people allways wanted to create their own Demon Prince, and now, we can't just create one ourself, we not only control him and his actions ourself, we also can command every kind of demon army we want. We can play as the strongest Demon Prince that ever existed. This is just genious

@@Ahrone1586 Look it up, its basically a company that gives you the resources to create your own teddy bear. People have made some interesting stuff, including but not limited a Teddy Bear created to look like video game, movie and cartoon characters.
Basically, the idea is that GW can literally print money if they adopted this idea but they don't because they're just too obsessed with controlling their IP.

@@Jacktreyboles 40k just writes all over it's own toes. The one thing that Fantasy will always have over 40k is that Archaon is a much better, and in-depth villain than Abaddon or even Horus ever was. Archaon has the aura of the anti-christ in warhammer.

As somebody who is an avid undivided fan and a 40k Word Bearer player, seeing undivided get some spotlight and (what I assume to be undivided daemon princes again) this makes me smile with glee
Not undivided demon Princes, *the* Demon Prince. As far as we know there's Just one and he's the LL we Play as

This is only the Daemons only faction. I'm still waiting for Warriors of Chaos (Archaon faction) to get some love too.
Makes me kinda wonder why they bothered with the specific chaos god branches if they were gonna do an undivided faction as well, or at least how is it gonna work ingame? Is it we dedicate ourselves to one of the Chaos Factions to then become chaos undivided? Or is it right out the gate there is already chaos undivided? From what it looks like the chaos undivided has all the chaos demons in it. So maybe undivided doesn't have mortals? I'm not sure overall.

Be'lakor is confirmed to be in the game, he is the one who has imprisoned Ursun. Maybe a final boss/antagonist.

Customizable Lords is something I wanted since Game 1 and I'm so happy that CA is confident enough in their own creative skill that they can give us this mechanic. Cheers lads we made it :D
Now we just need to see it applied to the other races so we can really customize the non legendary lords

@@ethrsag735 Dogs of war has the most potential, and a counter faction (maybe Skaven) to oppose them with their custom Verminlord.
@@ethrsag735 that wouldn't make sense. The chaos prince got that treatment because of the massive chaos corruption mutations in the lore. Things like a beastman growing a second head, a third arm and tentacles. You can "change" your prince because he mutates with the corruption. The only mutation an empire lord would get is cancer.

The Lord of Chaos Undivided is completely customizable from the start. From stats, abilities to looks. Even extremities and mutations. So yeah, its very interesting!

In chaos undivided, technically your not a puppet to the chaos gods, i fact they actually compete with each other to gain the favour of powerful individuals of undivided.
I absolutely love Chaos as a faction. Its so cool theyre letting you design your own chaos leader.

Nah. You can literally customise it. The god you focus on simply defines options what you get
It gets better. You can have a scythe-blade limb like a Slaanesh Daemonette, the horns of a Khorne Bloodletter, the magical aptitude of a Tzeentchian Lord of Change, and the the slimy, toxic sturdiness of one of Nurgle's Great Unclean Ones.
So you don't need to just be dedicated to one of the Dark Gods, you can have all of them and either specialize or create somehting new and terrifying that combines all the strengths or otherwise makes up for the wekanesses of the different Daemons.
This extends to the Daemon Prince's roster: You can recruit EVERY Daemon unit available, so you can have Nurgle's tankiness and Slaanesh' flanking, or Tzeentch's ranged and magic capabilities.
It's actual insanity and it's amazing.

You have a ton of customizable body parts in the first tree, and then you eventually focus on either of the gods or chaos undivided on a second three for further more focused customization (you can still unlock stuff from the tier 1 tree and equip the demon as fit).

Which means he's secretly a zombie, but hey, when you're being invaded by daemons every other day, you can't get too picky with your officers.
@@NeoChronoid I love the idea that everyone *knows* he's a zombie (Gunnery Wight maybe?), but they just pretend not to notice because he's such a great officer, and his regiment is one of the most well disciplined and successful in the army.

You can feel they had a blast doing the soundtrack, as well as the animations... I just hope that stuff plays during battles, and a secret weapon that is a guitar.

I don't know if it's just me but the music in this trailer sounds like it would fit perfectly on a Dynasty Warriors level. I like it a lot it seems too perfectly fit for what Koei usually puts in the games.

I wish but sadly this will likely be a unique mechanic to him. the time and effort to do this for every single faction and lord would be massive, and the mechanic exits for this faction is because its chaos undivided and you can mix and mash features of the 4 different chaos gods. but idk how they could tie it in for factions like the elves or lizardmen. it wouldn't mind it being a universal feature but I wouldn't put money on ca making it a universal feature due to the colossal time and effort involved as well as finding a way to tie it into each factions mechanic's. we can pray for the Build a lord dlc in the future

Lizardmen could follow a path of monster usage or saurus, skink, etc. You get the idea of ways you could mix and mash the usage of custom equipment that affects the effectiveness of your own personalized faction armies

I was gonna go Nurgle in my first playthrough, but this faction seems really fun and a good way to play around with all the deamon units, so I guess this will be first pick. I can always make a Nurgle aligned later

don't get me wrong I love the idea to design my own Demon Prince, But I really had set my heart on to play as Be'lakor
Probably saving the best for a future dlc I'm sure they want to bring some cool new unigt for the chaos undivided alongside be'lakor

Yup, I immediately went ""BE'LAKOR!!", but no. Still very cool though. Be'lakor will be dlc at some point probably.
I am too disappointed in lack of Be'lakor, but this is the next best thing. The trailer is badass, and Chaos Undivided mechanics look fun !

This is beyond epic, I was hoping and expecting Belakor as the representative of chaos undivided, but this idea of a customuzable lord is simply amazing
I love that the music changes to a different subgenre of heavy metal for the different Chaos gods.
Aggressive, hard-hitting thrash metal for Khorne, because of course.
Epic symphonic metal for Slaanesh to accompany the ecstatic sensations of battle.
And uplifting power metal for Nurgle. Suprising but also kind of makes sense.
No specific genre for Tzeentch but I imagine Tzeentch being a prog metal kind of guy so I'm expecting something resembling Dream Theater.

Being able to customize your own Daemon Prince is such a great feature and adds an RP element.
Players can feel more engaged with their LL and build them to what they want both visually and what strengths/weaknesses they have on the battlefield.
Don't like Skarbrand as a LL? Customize your Prince with Khornate gear and just run with Khorne's unit roster in Chaos Undivided.

Considering the dialogue and campaign, I actually think his victory will end in him ascending completely and becoming a Chaos God himself.
