The Party, The Past, and The Menzingers

The Menzingers seem like they've been around forever, but they are still relatively young despite having many albums to their name. One word that I'd use to describe the Menzingers is "nostalgic", even if that word doesn't make literal sense.
In this video I talk about what the Menzingers last four albums (On Impossible Past, Rented World, After the Party, and Hello Exile) make me think about.

Gotta love The Menzingers! Hello Exile is a fantastic album. Another great band I've been listening to alot lately is Somos. A bit more pop in their sound and quite heavy on the synths. But many songs remind me of The Menzingers when it comes to lyrical themes and such.

It was strange going through my RUclips and seeing the After the Party album cover.
If anyone likes the nostalgia that The Menzingers give in their lyrics, you'll probably like The Gaslight Anthem too. I love both of those bands and I think they have some of the best lyrics ever.
