So I’ve read mixed things about placing the herbal blends in the sun vs in a dark place. I usually do place mixed blends in my kitchen cabinet but after doing some researching solar infusion I saw a lot of people placing it in the sun for faster + better absorption but I see a lot of people also saying it does the opposite effect- so I’m not sure what’s best!!! Let me know in the comments please 🙏🏽
I normally leave my herbal oil mix in a dark place (wardrobe) because light increases the rate of photooxidation, which causes the oil to become rancid. Another tip to slow down degradation of chemical components in oils is to store it in a cool place and in a dark coloured (green, brown) container. When I do this, my oils can last for months without it going off. Hope this helps

The warmth from the sun can help infuse the herbs in the oil better. Just don’t leave it in the sun for more than 3 hours. After the infusion keep it in a cool dark place to store it for longevity and retention of the ‘nutrients’ in the oil+herb mixture.
Another way to prolong the oils is to add vitamin E. I add it to all my oils to prolong the shelf life since I buy my oils in bulk. Vitamin E isn’t a preservative but it does prevent carrier oils from going rancid quickly.
Rather not have it in the sun it'll go rancid..the oil will be infused naturally

I have the same herbs, but I do include peppermint, tea tree, coconut, and lavender oils. They all does wonders for my hair, including hair growth.

I make my own hair and body butters. I love how my hair and body feel when I use them.
I want to make a hair butter but I have type 1 hair for hair growth and deep conditioning can I not use it as a overnight treatment like I do overnight oiling it's basically oils right?then wash it with shampoo.Also could you recover some good butters for me which are fast absorbing deeply moisturizes also promotes hair growth?
Love this video! Just wanna give a quick tip.. buy a wooden spoon and use that to pick up the product so you don’t get water in the butter! (Just in case) bc water will cause mold and rancidity

I've been infusing the herbs with olive oil and avocado oil with a bit of peppermint oil and lavender oil and some black castor oil. Its been sitting for about a week now

Cupuacu butter is my jam! Love it. Have you heard of murumuru butter? Also an easily absorbent but thick butter thats great for coily hair and eumelanin skin.

Get it sis!!!!! Placing the oils in a dark cool place, is almost like cold brew coffee! The amount of nutrients and absorbtion is so much better, because there is no heat from the sun. Whether it’s the sun or boiling water, any type of heat source will destroy the full quality of the oil!

All essentials used ARE good for hair and scalp as well as the powder does NOT help with length it helps with MOISTURE locking. Also you definitely CAN add the oil and it DOESNT take the nutrients away at all.
Rice water is good for giving hair protein therefore more strength although too much protein can also cause breakage the even amount of moisture and protein is key

It’s actually better to warm the oil & herb mixture up together. for a better and stronger infusing. It’s the same process used when infusing cannabis into oil and butter. Don’t get me wrong, you got SOME of the goodness but dried herbs are best used when placed inside an oil or butter or oil otherwise you’re just getting the color and very little nutrient.
