After opening hundreds and hundreds of packs of evolving skies I finally pulled an alt art. As a huge eeveelution fan it feels really good to get my favorite eeveelution Medicham v Alt art
These pull rates have definitely hurt my willingness to open packs. I'm really moving more into collecting singles and sealed products because of this.
Same. I can’t hardly justify buying anything to open. It’s still addicting but not as fun as it used to be because who needs 6 stupid latios from fusion strike Out of 10 packs then only one holo. Waste of money
I wonder how much impact that will have on single prices? If you and, let’s just say 25% of the people, feel the same way, there will be less singles available and thus raising the prices of the singles
It’s for this reason exactly why I feel better buying singles after just opening a couple of booster boxes and skipping the rest. It just makes more sense to spend my money on the cards I want instead of get more V bulk that is worth less than a 1$. Excited for 100k!!
Appreciate all of the data and info Danny! It definitely feels like Pokémon needs to figure out what the focus of these sets should be before the new generation drops. These pull rates aren’t enjoyable for casual collectors
Danny you're so ridiculously transparent and humble. I think that's your biggest asset. Gave me a great laugh you talking about you being an 'amateur' when in fact your videos rock. Kudos for the continued awesome videos and super-laser-beam-focus to hit 100k by 12/31/2022! :)
I'm happy you made this, but extremely sad about what the data shows. Could you do a video on the Charizard UPC pull rates? I opened mine and pulled 5 holos, nothing else. It made me feel awful. I've seen many others with similar stories, so I feel like they are even worse than these statistics. Thanks again Danny!
@@jamesgraves9858 it’s a shame man! I know it’s random, but it just doesn’t seem right. Especially when I could’ve gotten a booster box worth of packs for less than the UPC.
I know 100k is mind blowing and you want it bad... but the fact you're already past 80k subs so fast is also insane. Can't forget how crazy the progress has been so far too
Pullrate data is my favorite. It really puts into perspective how much I should actually open. Buying cards is underrated. Thank you for all your videos
I believe these numbers. I opened 715 packs recently with a majority being Evolving Skies and Astral Radiance, but a good amount of Chilling, Fusion, Brilliant, Vivid, Darkness, Origin, and Sword and Shield base and a little bit of POGO. Of all those packs, I actually had similar results to this to what the data is saying. - 16 Full Arts (44.7 packs) - 8 Trainers (89.4) - 8 Rainbows - 3 Secret Items (238.3) No Gold Pokemon, and I did not record how many standard, VMAX, or VSTAR I received. I didn’t include them, but thank god for TG. I did get 4 alts too(now Secret VMAX), but I didn’t included them because I don’t know the exact number of packs that I opened that had the potential of alt arts. Of all the packs I opened, I’d say maybe about 200 were Sword and Shield base set, Darkness, and Vivid which means I got 4 alts out of about 515 packs which is actually a little better than expected! (128.75)
Thank you for the data - you open way more packs than we do! I think Pokemon needs to make this better, or many people will just stop opening the product. I opened one Fusion Strike box and only found 4 regular V's - then I vowed to never buy another FS box again. Hope you're listening, Pokemon.
But the pull rates are bad on EVERYTHING but regular Vs. Lol that's the whole point of this video. You think maybe, just maybe they could increase the rates on everything but Alts? Good analysis though! Lol
This is interesting, thanks for posting. I think the one glaring detail thats not pointed out here is the overall average arent accounting for how much theyve been overcompensating with Astral and Lost Origin. Ive averaged 20-24 hits per booster box of Lost Origin and not far behind with Astral, making up for this average total of 8 per Battle Styles and Chilling Reign. The earlier SWSH and especially quarantine SWSH box pull rates were completely broken...
Thank you for voicing the frustration of so many of us. It used to be fun and exciting to open a booster box back during Sun & Moon. This entire generation of Pokemon cards was so frustrating, not worth the money, so we stopped at Fusion Strike. We switched to Digimon which is more fun to play and they offer guaranteed pull rates in their boxes. I was a dedicated Pokemon player and I walked away. Pokemon doesn't care though. They are going to keep making bigger sets, making it more difficult to collect.
This is exactly why I subscribed to your channel today, I love getting the breakdown on boxes even though these numbers are very depressing. Now I know why I really haven't pulled anything really good yet, think my best pull to date is a Mew Vmax at around 40 bucks. With this info, I may change up how I collect from here on out and stop trying to open as much as I can
I've been opening packs after packs. Booster boxes after booster boxes. But have only gotten one alternate art. So amazed at the luck ppl have! All the best on the road to 100k!
Similar stories abound. I thought of the Charizard UPC as I was watching this video. Danny's data pretty much falls in line with what most people who opened the box are reporting. We got 4 hits out of 17 (yes, 17) packs, 3 of those from two Lost Origin packs (low number Trainer Gallery, Gold and the VMax) and a full art Raquaza from Evolving Skies, and sad to say that's a decent box. But point is: the UPC pulls seem reflective of the overall trend: bad.
I think there's alot to said about the sword and shield era. To me it's been a pretty bad down turn for pokemon in terms of being a consumer. Pull rates are terrible for the amount of value you get. In XY era you may get less pulls but most all regular EXs and Mega EXs were still worth a very considerable amount compared to regular Vs or regular Vmaxs or Vstars. I think in large that is due to pokemon making too many variations of "ultra rare" cards. The price of something like a Charizard Vmax from darkness ablaze would be substantially higher if pokemon didn't print the shiny, the rainbow, and the alternate art. Pokemon needs to get back to basics even if that means stopping all the Vs style cards or full art alt art stuff and just getting back to holos being the big hits. Just bring back holos in base set foiling or cosmo foiling and things would be alot better. Make the cards quality go up and stop pushing the over the top stuff.
That’s the problem ! There is too many “ultra rare”… Holos are not considered a hit anymore, maybe in the Scarlet and Violet era the Vs (or the equivalent) will not be considered as a hit too and we will be like : “pull rates are terrible, there is just 4 or 5 hits / booster box…”. If you consider a holo as a hit then the hit rate is pretty good ! But they are worthless so… like you said there is too many cards too get.. Back in the days, if you opened let’s say 2 booster boxes, you were close to finish the set because for exemple in base set you have 16 holos, and you hit 12 in one booster box so…that’s not the case at all anymore. And that’s how they make more money… Plus it’s cheaper to open in the US, I am in France and a booster box is around 175$ MSRP, sometimes higher (EB12 was more 190$ in pre-order at same retailers…) and you get the same pull rates so imagine how much you have to spend to open a case for exemple…
Yes 1000% pull rates need to change reg holos shouldn't be a hit either the holo pattern has been garbage since they changed it from cosmos foil and generally worth nothing hince they shouldn't be considered hits anymore they could remove holos altogether and i wouldn't give a sht
Yeah I only went hard on opening evo skies when there were deals (booster box dropped in price beginning of 3rd reprint, costco etb bundle) pulled 3 alt arts in 220 packs, 2 of them being some of the worst alt arts in the set. I used to only collect singles for older cards but now I'm doing that for modern as well. $100+ for an eeveelution of my choice doesn't seem too bad anymore compared to these pull rates haha
Said it a million times. The pokemon company is shooting themselves in the foot for the long haul. Pokemon stays popular because its fun for kids. Collecting, playing, trading. If they go to this model of having to buy 2000 packs for one card kids are gunna get bored because thats not something they can do. Pokemon is at a crossroads. Either go back to focusing on fun and children or make the hobby popular only to older generation collectors.
That is a double egde sword. If you make pulls to easy, it will make the cards pretty much worthless and the hobby will be left by most of collectors. That happened to many other hobbiesvin the past.
Kids don’t care about it like this either, they binder up commons and uncommons. I saw a kid with a gengar vmax alt the other day raw in a binder and he said his favourite card was the regular umbreon v next to it. Rare cards are rare cards that’s why it’s worth chasing and rewarding when you get one
Kids also get super excited over holos though. I gave my neighbor kids a bag of the halloween set and they all fought over the packs like they were a case of Evolving Skies or something 😂🤣
Kids are definitely not driving this hobby up. It’s the adults with the cash. I personally collect sealed product and open a lot since I do enjoy collecting the cards. I also buy my kids cards sometimes although they are perfectly happy and excited when I give them my extra rares such as Vs or Vmax.
Before even watching: Yes. Drastically, especially with sets that big. I'd argue the alt arts could also just be the arts, but that might be too controversial haha
If you want the thrill of opening boosters still, these days it basically makes more sense to shell out for an old Holon Phantoms box or something even more vintage, a way to have fun, get better pull rates and maybe even make your money back.
Last few sets I’ve just been buying an ETB from PC and then a few blisters here and there and then just buying the singles that I want. Continuing to just buy and buy boosters with no results is not fun at all. I will admit that I think some sets have better pull rates than others and the addition of the radiant cards and trainer gallery cards have definitely softened the blow. The second half of sword sword Brilliant Stars forward has def been better because you might not pull an alt but there’s a much better chance you’ll pull a cool TG or Radiant or even in Full Arts seem to be slightly better later on. The middle sets like Battle Styles - Fusion Strike have such bad pull rates though it’s not even worth it to even buy packs of them.
The pull rates are very frustrating. Especially when trying to complete a master set. One of the lesser talked about impacts is that with pull rates like this, you end up with thousands of bulk and duplicates, which can be very hard to get fair value for. I would like to see Pokemon address this, as it seems like a waste. Even having a way to send them in unused cards to recycle for store credit would be amazing.
Yeah, the pull rates are wretched any more. I really feel like they need to give up on having holo rares be a 'hit' with what they do any more. Drop the non-holo rares entirely, make the worse pull be a holo rare (and even get rid of the reverse holos, if need be), and make the 1 in 3 average be a V (or generational equivalent...ex in SV, I guess?) or better. Reducing some of the variety might also help. It gets a little frustrating when you can have a regular art, a full art, a gold card, an alternate art and a rainbow rare of a card. I'm kind of hoping they drop rainbow rares entirely from here on out, and maybe even golds or full arts. Something needs to give anyways. Thanks as always for the data!
Let’s go to 100k & I pulled the Blaziken Vmax Alt in my 1st pack of Chilling Pain out & I also pulled a gold dark energy from evo skies out of the Flareon tin & then Palkia from a ETB & Beedrill Alts from a Kleavor collection box.. then in a Whatnot giveaway I won a astral ETB & pulled starmie v tg with gold Vstar palkia my luck was crazy .. all from in months of each other 😂
Thank you for all the work ! 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I don’t understand why everybody is saying that the pull rates are bad. We never had that much ultra rare per booster… the problem is us. A holo rare is not a hit anymore. Why is that ? When I was a kid there was only holos… when we hit a “V” we are disappointed etc. What do we want ? Alt art every 2 or 3 boosters ? Then it’s gonna be like holo rares, it’s gonna worth nothing… Yes there is too many ultra and secret to have a full set, that is for sure. But the blame is not only on Pokemon Company… They need to reduce the size of the sets, that’s for sure and reduce how many secret rares there is in a set. It’s a shame that we can’t have a full set without buying singles… I am ok with that.
If you put a holo rare, regular V and alternate art side by side, the latter will appeal to more people most often than not. The value of the card is relative to the other cards in that way so it would be expected that the appeal of holo rare cards is diminished. It's a balancing act on how low the pull rates can be while keeping the buyers engaged with the product. If you put it into an extreme where the pull rate is 1 per 100 case, is that a good business decision long term? However, it is a good thing that TG set have been introduced where the artwork could rival alternate arts but with a higher hit rate. Regular V cards are also now getting some love like the Lugia V by Mitsuhiro Arita.
I am only in half of the video and I am already terrified! How can be these pulls so damn bad?! Glad I decided to be sealed collector because this is absurd,
love the video and information! Definitely exhausting to complete sets with these hit rates.. even just reverse holo.. i feel like i pull the same exact ones and have to purchase the rest. Its just a company move to keep the consumer buying more and more
If they don't increase pull rates, I'll stick to only opening about 50 packs for fun then buying singles like I have with the last 3 sets. At least with Evolving Skies I was able to sell all my bulk, code cards, and extra cards to make back most of the money I spent opening packs, which I never expect to be able to do with a set, but it made it easy to justify opening tons of packs. Silver Tempest is the first set in over a year I haven't pre-ordered. Thanks for the info!
I opened one box of Evolving Skies when it first came out, pulled Umbreon Vmax alt art. I had no idea how rare it was at that time and thankfully I kept the card.
This makes me feel pretty good about pulling Glacion V alt from evolving skies sleeved booster packs. I opened 16 packs before I pulled it. But even still, the card is worth about $75 and the cost of the packs was closer to $100
As someone who got back into the hobby right at Darkness ablaze was released I have found the best way to do it financially and efficiently. I have completed every set released from Darkness ablaze to pokemon go. I am 18 cards away from Astral Radiance and 30 cards away from lost origin. Have pulled all ALts except giritina. Here how I do it. On release I buy 6 BB [booster boxes] but not a case 2 from 3 different LGS which I feel ahas boosted my odds of getting better pulls as I feel buying a case will sometimes get u less hits from my experience. I also buy a couple blister check lane and 3 pack blisters and about 50 sleeved. After all this I usually pull every card and it's reverse holo plus maybe 1/4 too 1/2 of the secret rares / full arts, on good luck I get the 1/2 like I did for fusion and brilliant stars. Where in like Astral Radiance and lost origin I had not as good luck. I think it's the pull rates that made this happen. But after that I only buy a Booster Boxs [BB] every like 2 weeks or so or untill I feel I've tried enough for the chase cards I want to try for or until I find it financially to much. After that I only buy singles to complete the set. I've found doing this u can pretty easily complete sets and have fun opening. Also I save all v' or ultra rares I pull that are doubles and or on the less valuable cards and save them till I have 150 cards and sell them for store credit at my LGS I average anywhere from 150-250$ store credit to use on singles and use this to gobble up all the cheaper cards I need remaining in the set. I usually can grab half the cards I'm missing with 1 trade in and buy the rest averaging only having to buy like 15-20 cards per set depending on luck of the pulls you could not have to buy the more expensive ones or bad luck you do. It's luck evolved forsure but I've completed every set that has come out within 3-5 months after release doing this method. Thanks if u read this far. Reply with a 👍 if u read this far.
Also, only buying booster boxes has also in my experience been the most efficient way to complet sets as I feel in booster boxes your more likely to pull at least 1 full art 1 in the newer sets a top tier Trainer gallery and usually 1 Rainbow, gold, or if ur really lucky alt art. As with other products like ETB or sleeved boosters you cam open anything from 5 ETBs with not even a full art or 50 sleeves and only 1 secret rare. While with Booster boxes I've found it to have more of a consistent repetitive experience. But that could just be my luck but after opening about 100-150 booster boxes just in sword and shield Era I've found the stats to be to glaring to not be true. Thanks again
That's weird because I have had tons of luck with the newer sets vs old sets.. except for alt arts. I've pulled like 5 alternate arts our of all the boosters I've bought since I started collecting earlier this year... however the trainers I have had a LOT of luck getting at least 2 trainers in almost every booster box, sometimes getting 3 including a rainbow trainer in like 3 out of my last 5 booster boxes.. which I'm glad becomes I love the trainer cards.
Digimon you can pull play sets needed to play in standard format. Pokemon you can open 5 booster boxes and not get a full play set for standard. It's really does need to change.
Hahaha! The very first few seconds of the vid threw me for a loop! All good, Danny. We all dork it sometimes. I bet with that mistake you'll never forget to turn your mic on again. Mistakes make good medicine. My luck is usually much better than your numbers here, but I'd say since about the end of the 3rd quarter of this year, your numbers accurately describe my pulls. Hahaha! Welp...
Issue is Japan pumping out sets every month nearly and English every 3 months which means condensing all that in to one set which really dilutes the card pool and makes pulling what you want even tougher (like a specific v etc)
Danny, your content is 💯 on point!! I’ve been at this awhile. Shared memories with my daughter, now a law school graduate, has been every holiday, birthdays, and just for fun opening Pokémon packs and collecting over many, many years. The fun is gone… disappointment with crappy pulls just sucks!! And horrible quality!! We now collect and keep limited amounts of sealed product, like Pokémon Center ETB’s, collection boxes, and exclusives. The lockdown Covid era of mass interest is over now, just ask PSA. Pokémon should consider appealing to us, the diehard collectors that want to have fun collecting a set. Ok, rant over LOL THANK YOU for all you do!!
Sir. Do you have any stats on supreme victorsas I opened a pack the other day and hit the Moltres secret rare and the relicanth shiny from 1 pack I’d love to know the odds on that!
Yep I was looking forward to pulling a zard rainbow out of one booster box/brilliant stars/ probably won’t be that lucky odds are way too staked , not that I’m actually getting my brilliant stars box because my order was rubbed by someone selling on eBay got to wait till the 11/11 before eBay is gonna re fund me ! Love your channel Danny 👍🏼
This is exactly why I moved away from opening booster boxes... not worth the price. Also, what do you think about japanese alt art pricing? The moonbreon is around 1.5k on eBay. I feel lucky for a $500 English version
Yeah Japan has higher quality QC as well as having a guaranteed in a box. They really get the good stuff. I studied over there for a while and really loved the quality of everything there
If you add all the Full Art data together (Full Arts / Alternate / Full Art trainer / Rainbow / Gold Pokemon / VMax alternate) you get 1.98/box so basically 2/box. That’s note bad. But if those two are trainers, that’s bad for sure… But yes, pulling the alternate arts is so hard !
It’s all depends. If a card pull rate is increase it means the price will drop like crazy. I prefer Pokémon to decrease the pull rate so that those hard to pull cards price stay high. It all comes down to demand and supply. I won’t have collected Pokémon cards if pull rate is increase I feel current pull rate is alright.
Pull rates lately have left me genuinely sad after I open a product. There’s no excitement. For example: I opened my Charizard UPC and got a Hoothoot Trainer Gallary card and a Delphox V regular not full Art. Not holos or anything else. 😬
I usually buy a booster box or two of each set. Not anymore. Instead I’m gonna use that money to buy singles from the set. Of course I’ll wait a few weeks for prices to calm down. For 200 bucks I wonder how many “hits” I can buy lol.
I would have liked a set by set comparison with the vmax and vstar pulls combined! That would have made my stat soul pleased. But good info nonetheless Danny! 👍
Your content about Pokémon is so different to other creators, absolutely destroying competition Danny! If you won’t get 100k before end of the year, RUclips is broken! 🔥
As far as rates of getting a *cool* card in a pack, I think it has been way better when compared to prior generations. I appreciate the variety of rarities but I think they should remove one of either gold or rainbow, preferably rainbow
Great but depressing info. With prices increasing I am thinking hard about stopping collecting except a very few singles. Just not worth it. Too many times I've been so happy to open a BB but ended up disappointed.
Thanks for the data Phanny! Take it as a rehearsal for the video instead of a mistake lol. I actually think a lot of full arts and gold cards are way undervalued compared to their pull rates
Just got Silver tempest ETB, 1 box got 8 packs. 1 Mawile V. That's just insane. I'd quit buying ETB if this is my experience when I open Scarlet Violet. If the packs are combinations of different sets' pack, It make sense. But ETB you got 8 of the same set's packs. Can't you even get like 2-3 V per ETB, with a chance of it being more than V. This SWSH I feels just mostly stick no carrot.
Having the same pull luck with Lost Origins as Evolving Skies.. not a single featured Mon card yet :/ no Rayquaza, no Giratina. it's kinda ridiculous tbh.
I started noticing pull rates dropping after they reprinted Hidden Fates. It's changed how I buy now. Used to buy boxes of almost everything, now I need to justify it. Collecting sealed and buying singles makes more sense these days.
When calculating the full art pokemon/trainer the calculation should combine both categories if you are expecting 1 of either in each box instead of 1 of each
I've been opening up so many packs the only alternative art I have ever gotten was from a pack of battle styles and that was probably 3 to 500 packs still no alt art
i wish they had idk like 1 of 5000 or something like that of the super rare cards ina set so they would be worth more like these gold cards and rainbow cards
I have not opened a SINGLE pack of lost origin. I have dignity and will not stand with pokemon abusing their customers. There's so many things wrong with pokemon's business model that does not benefit their supoorters whatsoever. That's just me though. Ppl will keep kissing ass instead of standing for what is right. The way you hurt these corps is by hurting them where it hurts, their bank account.
I'm fully converting to Japanese cards from now on. I will still get some English promo boxes from time to time probably. But regular sets? Only Japanese

really love your content, it's interestins as "impulsive/intense" collector... Thanks for the compiled info
As an investor I would like these pull rates when it comes to getting my investment back. The rarer the better. As a collector I wouldn't want to have to pay for 400 packs before I see a hit ... But then again would I pay outrageous prices for a card let alone graded card. Sometimes the thrill is getting cards for a competitive price. 86' stickers of Freddy bought for $40 eBay usually sell for $60 or more. I waited I struck a deal & scored something from my childhood if it's worth it & u get a good price take a shot to relive a good card. Look at Charizard cards.
The fact most of these cards cost WAYYYY more to pull than buy shows just how little value pokemon cards are right now and its too hard to open them as you feel your most likely gonna lose a ton of value and it shouldn't be that way. With prices going up soon I am certainly not buying once scarlet and violet comes out unless the pulls match or beat the Japanese pull rates as they are more fun to open and less money which is sad.
I probably sound jaded, but I'm not buying into Scarlet and Violet. It's all coming to a head: increased MSRP, decreasing market demand, worsening pull rates, lackluster galleries (overall). I'm so tired of opening a booster box "for fun," only to not get anything besides a handful of Vs and a worthless full art. I used to get an alt art in every box of Chilling, and then I only got one (perrsekker) in a CASE of Lost Origin. I'll probably pick up some Lost Origin because the price will dip when Silver Tempest, but that's it. I'm done opening Pokemon. At least sports aren't nearly this disappointing.
Yeahhh if prices increase and pull rates stay the same, I think I’m bowing out of opening stuff until rates seem to improve. It’s already difficult justifying the money on packs.
Moving forward maybe place a single alt art with a full art or two full arts, maybe full art and a full art trainer. I would not add more then that. It would take away the suspense if you add to much. It definitely eased the pain when they started adding the trainer gallery's again. Sometimes it's all about luck.
Danny, we r often our own toughest critics. Sucks that u had to re-record it though. Hey, do u upload ur videos to other streaming services as well, or just RUclips?
I think hit rates are going to need to be increased some. It is getting real expensive to open packs. I also get that you don't want there to be to many hits. I think they should continue doing the trainer gallery, it is sad that they will not continue this. I miss the days when a rare holo was the hit and you got excited about that. I also think they need to decrease the amount of reverse holo's.
@@stephorozco8911 Completely and it just adds a lot more bulk and adds that many more cards for people who want to complete master sets. They could still keep that slot for an extra hit. I'm not even a fan of reverse holo rares.
Pokemon company do not care about the pull rates aslong as there making profit if you need to get 2k packs to complete a binder then its pokemon who profits the most. Ive opened 5 booster boxes of lost origin and I need 72 cards to complete my binder. Ive had so many doubles which im gonna trade for the cards I need.
After opening hundreds and hundreds of packs of evolving skies I finally pulled an alt art. As a huge eeveelution fan it feels really good to get my favorite eeveelution Medicham v Alt art
Hahaha😂
Ah that sucks
🤣🤣🤣 this is gold. Exactly why we've stopped opening any English boxes at all. Unbelievably cheaper to buy singles. And less hearbreaking.
@@quickpik4121 You meant hairbreaking off course! 😂😂😂
Jajaja congratulations jajaja 😂
These pull rates have definitely hurt my willingness to open packs. I'm really moving more into collecting singles and sealed products because of this.
Same, I usually buy singles/slabs of the cards I’m looking for in a set and collect the sealed boxes
The pull rates aren't the issue, it's the oversaturation of "special" cards
You know what’s even MORE upsetting than the terrible pull rates? When you finally pull a difficult card only to find that it’s way off center….

- 16 Full Arts (44.7 packs)
- 8 Trainers (89.4)
- 8 Rainbows
- 3 Secret Items (238.3)
No Gold Pokemon, and I did not record how many standard, VMAX, or VSTAR I received.
The market value of the trainer gallery is a perfect example of what will happen if the main set increases the hit rate.
But the pull rates are bad on EVERYTHING but regular Vs. Lol that's the whole point of this video. You think maybe, just maybe they could increase the rates on everything but Alts? Good analysis though! Lol

Speaking of pull rates, just opened a charizard UPC and got ONE ultra rare out 16 packs…ouch!
And that’s how they make more money…
Plus it’s cheaper to open in the US, I am in France and a booster box is around 175$ MSRP, sometimes higher (EB12 was more 190$ in pre-order at same retailers…) and you get the same pull rates so imagine how much you have to spend to open a case for exemple…
Yes 1000% pull rates need to change reg holos shouldn't be a hit either the holo pattern has been garbage since they changed it from cosmos foil and generally worth nothing hince they shouldn't be considered hits anymore they could remove holos altogether and i wouldn't give a sht
Hehehehe love the recording error and respect the fact that you didn’t just Re shoot it! ✌🏼🔥👑
It happens all the bumps in the road makes a better person and streamer seriously appreciate all you do for the community love these videos
it really blows my mind that Full arts can be as cheap at $1 or $2 with how hard they are to pull
Lmao, you think its a kid ran hobby? What about the fucking million of content creators? 😏
Thanks for the info. Since there was a transitional period from VMax to VStar within a couple sets, why not simply combine the pull rates?
I don’t understand why everybody is saying that the pull rates are bad.
Already seen ppl quoting your data in my discord! Great work!
Silver Tempest is likely the last set where I purchase case. You used to be able to come really close to completing a master set from just a case.
Damn a case? Do you usually open all 6 or keep some sealed?
@@FastAligator1234 I open everything :)
Thanks for making analysis videos like this. But ouch those pull rates hurt!
I went to Hobby Lobby, bought one Evo Skies pack for $6.99, then pulled that special art Rayquaza you put on the Alternate Art VMAX list.
The way they have been pumping out product it has to be expected. It’s gonna be way faster to pump out common/uncommon sheets than ultra/secret sheets
My girls pulled one last pack of third box. It’s possible
This is exactly why I moved away from opening booster boxes... not worth the price. Also, what do you think about japanese alt art pricing? The moonbreon is around 1.5k on eBay. I feel lucky for a $500 English version
DAY 2 - Danny I challenge you to an Evolving Skies opening battle! 😏👉 🌙🐈⬛
Great video, thanks for all the info, they really need to fix some of those pull rates
Watermelon Phantump! That's a regional variant if I ever saw one. We need to get Pokemon to make that a thing. :)
I've been collecting pretty hard for about a year and a half, probably opened over 1000 packs and I've only ever pulled 2 alt art Vmax.
The pull rates are awful. My son is over ripping packs because it's not fun to him anymore. It sucks!
That’s sad :(
Just got Silver tempest ETB, 1 box got 8 packs.
Yeah I mostly buy singles unless it’s a box set I want… the value is not there lol. Now they’re raising the MSRP lol
When calculating the full art pokemon/trainer the calculation should combine both categories if you are expecting 1 of either in each box instead of 1 of each
Pulled moonbreon, and noivern alts from hangar packs and a espeon v alt from trainer box.
I've been opening up so many packs the only alternative art I have ever gotten was from a pack of battle styles and that was probably 3 to 500 packs still no alt art
Hope everyone is having a great day
You too!
Aight 232 packs from you for silver tempest. A whole case and 2 etbs get me lucky danny
Thats why I stopped opening my boxes/packs and keep them sealed. Overall its just burning money.
Crazy figures 😁. I like you handle the data. Who paid those booster packs? 🤔
the actual chances of pulling an alt art in those odds must be in between 60 and 70 %, you´d have to double that to "sort of ensure it"
i wish they had idk like 1 of 5000 or something like that of the super rare cards ina set so they would be worth more like these gold cards and rainbow cards
This is why I moved away from booster boxes. Found more alt arts from tins and sleeved boosters.
I'm fully converting to Japanese cards from now on. I will still get some English promo boxes from time to time probably. But regular sets? Only Japanese
really love your content, it's interestins as "impulsive/intense" collector...
Thanks for the compiled info
The charizard UPC pull rates suck too. Make a video about it lol
I sense a great fall in Pokemon card sales followed by a big boom around the midway point of the Scarlet and Violet sets.
You are definitely my favorite Pokemon content creator! Keep up the awesome job bro! You deserve the 100k subs and more!
I wish there would be some sort of garuntee in english boxes like japanese boxes yeah cards wouldnt be worth as much but damn its getting expensive
given how difficult rainbows & full arts actually are to pull, i feel like they’re undervalued as a whole at the moment
Agree 100%, reverse holos as "hits" are laughable.. it's quite obvious they're doing it to dampen actual pulls :/
@@stephorozco8911 Completely and it just adds a lot more bulk and adds that many more cards for people who want to complete master sets. They could still keep that slot for an extra hit. I'm not even a fan of reverse holo rares.
Seeing these pull ratios - it blows my mind that i've pulled TWO alt arts from a single booster box 3 times now.
You put out the best information Danny, you've definitely made me rethink the way I buyband collect cards! Keep up the great work man 👍
Pokemon company do not care about the pull rates aslong as there making profit if you need to get 2k packs to complete a binder then its pokemon who profits the most. Ive opened 5 booster boxes of lost origin and I need 72 cards to complete my binder. Ive had so many doubles which im gonna trade for the cards I need.
