I totally agree that the outfit with the leather jacket does not present as worth what the tags say. It definitely has Forever 21 vibes which to me always felt too cheap. I think the outfit with the emerald green was the most flattering in style and color. You also look confident and comfortable which makes a huge difference.

The shoulder gaping is because most garments are made to accommodate very straight (level, square) shoulders, and when you have any slope down, it doesn't need as much fabric there. Also because you are narrow, there is less space there so it is closer to the outside of your shoulder instead of being more toward the middle of the shoulder where it would be a little higher etc. You also might not notice the gaping as much if you were flat chested and otherwise had the same shoulders, but either way, if you got things altered and just removed the tiny bit of extra fabric at the shoulder, that vest would look so awesome on you.
I agree these were the best! You looked fantastic in everything, but I'm also 41 and most of the looks read 20-something. I also think the gold jeans and blue dress have potential, depending on where you're going, but you definitely didn't seem super comfortable in the blue dress, especially, and I seem to be in the minority opinion in the comments on this item. Always better to get something you know you're going to reach for, especially at these prices
You should always follow your instincts. For that outfit I might’ve swapped out the shoes to a knee high boot and a jacket that makes you most comfortable in even if it’s a denim jacket to get outside of feeling a little outside of place while still keeping the a little bit of comfort zone of Samatha

The first outfit was terrific… great plum color on you and the skirt gave you a great shape. The rest was terrible unless you’re planning a trip to Miami. Also, the vegan leather looks cheap.
You look amazing in outfit 3, but I agree, it's a bit much for a mom, 40 yo career woman, etc. Similar with the purple shirt and outfits 7 and 8. I find when I keep things I just don't feel that comfortable in, they sit in the closet with the tag on. So may not be worth keeping because you will probably find you don't wear it because it doesn't feel right to you.
Keep the first outfit and the champagne foil jeans they look amazing on you and I really like the last black dress too, ask your girls what their take is on these sexier outfits, would love to hear their opinions 😊
I only love the velvet skirt with the purple top. The rest would make me so uncomfortable as a 38 year old woman. I would not go out in these. The blue top reminds me of high school those where in style back then. I would feel so exposed

The first silk top was gorgeous - I loved the color and it looks great on you. I like the black skirt too. The green top was a pretty color so if you got it in your size, it would be great. The expensive blazer looked great too. The other outfits do feel very young and if you're not comfortable, they aren't worth the money. The black top with the cutout looks likes a playboy bunny. I don't really understand leather shorts - for me shorts are not a date night thing.

If you don’t feel comfortable in it you won’t wear it. So, if you are feeling so-so about something, don’t waste your money on something that’s going to wind up sitting in your closet until you declutter it. Oh, and the problem isn’t the word “sexy” it’s the other qualifying words used with it. If you told her “sophisticated sexy” you’d get something different. Worth a try 🤷🏻♀️ It also has to do with how you describe your own style. While it’s nice to want your husband to like the way you look, ultimately you are dressing for yourself and how you feel in your clothes. I think the purple top is worth the splurge. I like the first and last looks. There is nothing wrong with modesty. I don't think it's prudish to not want to look like a high priced call girl.
I like outfits 1&2. The third outfit, to me, was an outfit for a twenty-something at a club, not for a forty date night. I love the black shorts and the gold top but not the blazer. The vest is cool but the gaping is due to smaller shoulders and being shorter, which I have the same problem. Not loving the purpley top or the cutout top and shimmer pants. The dresses were a little skimpy for me as an almost 40 year old. I normally love your FDF boxes but not so much this box. On a positive note, you looked amazing in everything!
Okay, first, you have an amazing figure and can definitely pull off the outfits, but for me the cutouts just look a little too over the top and revealing. I've always thought it was sexier to wear clothing that shows enough but to also just show enough to spark the imagination. So it's the way a fabric drapes a figure instead of being so tight, low cut or revealing that no imagination is needed. The first outfit was amazing, the green top would be beautiful in a size smaller. I loved the bronze tank on you and yoi could wear that with your coated jeans with a smoking leather jacket or with the first skirt. I like the bronze pants if one size up would fit you, just so they don't look quite as painted on and those would also look amazing with that bronze tank... So the winners in my book are the first skirt, the plum silk top, the green long sleeve (one size down), the bronze top and the bronze pants (one size up). I feel like so much of those pieces can be mixed and matched and the colors and shapes look gorgeous on you. If your hubby absolutely loves the lavender top I can see where that would be sexy with a comfy, lived in lighter blue wash jean, and maybe a chunkier necklace to distract a bit from the cleavage. The color did look amazing on you, so if he's a boob man maybe you want to consider that top. But, that would only be if you really felt comfortable going out in it or having your girls see you in it because, just being honest people are going to constantly be looking at your boobs if you wear that. I hope that helps... It's all just my opinion and you should wear whatever makes you feel amazing🩷
You should only choose outfits that make you feel proud and consistent in who you are. While you look great in all of them I think it totally misses the mark of who you are. Sexy does not only mean showing skin. Sophisticated chic is classy and classic and your best option.
I don’t love all the “fake” leather shorts, leggings, skirts, etc. Go for the real leather sophisticated jacket or blazer and pair with timeless trousers, skirts, etc!!

The vest is too big in the armpit because your shoulders are small in comparison to your bust. A dart coming forward from the armpit would take care of this, but very few brands do that because not everybody is big(ish) busted.
In the blue dress, you look like Julie Robert's, pretty woman...lol..you have a great figure, you look great in them all but you need to get the ones you feel great in...but not the ones that will stay in the closet...

The white button up vest can be taken up at the shoulder. Easy fix & is so cute.
