I really enjoyed watching you trimming the boxwood into a gorgeous cone shape. You made it so easy shaping that boxwood plant. All your boxwood plants on the background are awesome and best of all well done neatly. More power to you & continue teaching viewers with your talents. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Aida, thank you very much for watching. If you have a chance feel free to have a look my other episodes of topiaries which I made pyramid, cloud, spirals and others.😍

This was amazing to watch. Therapeutic. Your boxwoods are beautiful! I live in Palm Springs, California, and I've just bought a 5-gallon Winter Gem Boxwood that looks more like a globe, but I would love to have a cone look like yours. Can I turn my globe boxwood into an "ice cream cone" like yours?

If i have a round or overgrown hedge. I buy sidewalk chalk in a can, spray my shape on it . Take my electric hedge trimmer and basically start cutting it out...like using scissors on a piece of paper but rounding it out.

Wow, you have an amazing cutter for shrubs, the output is well defined. In my previous company, the gardener only used scissors to make the shrubs look like Christmas Trees and balls.

Hi Chie, actually when cutting/trimming any shrubs for topiary anyone can use trimming tools available with them. Some tools can be scissors like you mentioned, sheers or even secateurs... 😀
