- Restoring our 18th FV432 and farewell to the Ferret Scout Car!
We have finally got round to another video here at Armourgeddon tank paintball! Today we are showing you a average day in the life of a tank driving site. There is always a huge amount to do here after a busy weekend of tank battles. We spend most of the week maintaining our fleet of paintball tanks but always get time to have a go with our collection of WW2 vehicles, including restoring our world war two lee tank's engine.

The lovely sound of that power-pack running up outside.
Takes me back years to BAOR and, since I was REME, 18 Command Workship LRS (Light Repair Section) at Bovington. 432s all over the place as well as Scorpions, Chieftains and the trials Chieftain ARV that we had. ARV because it was not equipped with a crane. I still love the sound of the K60 and L60 - in good order, of course.
You got more armour than the British Army😂😁
30 deg,, a pleasant Spring day.
Ferret Scoutcar,, 29sec 1/4 mile at about 38mph. Yes, someone drag raced one!
Used to drive one of these in the early 90s in Germany!
Man, the maintenance must cut very deeply into the old profit margin. Kudos to you guys for doing this. My family is coming over there from California and we will will make Armourgeddon one of our first stops. Then you can tell us where to go for a pint in Coventry!
It’s called a fishplate, as in fish shaped. So much easier when you have air tools, jealous, definitely 😉
I work on tanks myself, I make and fit the wiring. There aren't many parts of a tank that are lightweight.
Thankfully we have indoor bays for the tanks and an overhead crane to lift the packs and turrets out.
Currently upgrading Challenger 2 tanks.
Awesome.
I used to drive the ambulance version back in 1979 in Sennelager, I loved them
Excellent love your pickled onions too 👍🏻
Love the vid, always interesting to see the day to day maintenance and hope to see more of that in the future.
We will do haha! We will be aiming for 2 videos a month now
Love to see maintenance on the FVs keep the vids coming, one of my favorite vehicles
was crew on FV432 with RARDEN in Berlin in 1982. Nice to see one again.
We had this variant and the Swingfire in support company until it reorganised and split across the Battalion and we gained D company
Great channel! Surprised you don’t have more engagement 😮
Thanks haha! We haven’t been posting very frequently so we will hopefully improve!
Need to put the name of the vehicle in the title or description. If someone hadn't mentioned 432 in the video I wouldn't have a clue as to what you were working on.
Very true! Thank you for the feedback!
>chrome sockets on an impact
my kind of party!
When are you going to do an update on the Sherman Jumbo?
Hi there! We are still waiting on parts from Canada. When they arrive we can continue. But we do have a cool new project we will be starting very soon
Zombie Apocalypse comes, I'm heading to you.
What was her number plate while in the army? I drove 17 EA 92 which was a 432 30.

They don't they are mounted dry if lubed they can pick up dirt and cause wear.
