That is a very diverse TBR ! Here is my November TBR : - A collection of short stories by Edgar Allan Poe - Godkiller by Hannah Kaner - House of Salt and Sorrows by Erin A.Craig - A Study in Drowning by Ava Reid - The Atlas Paradox by Olivie Blake - Painted Devils by Margaret Owens I'm trying to stay in the fall/autumn vibe
Circe was the book that got me back into reading a few years ago, I remember staying up late to read it and remembering how much I loved that feeling ❤
As a major mood reader I truly envy people that actually get to read what’s on their tbr 😂 I’m already thinking about the Black Friday deals we’ll have this November
This video made me realise how few male authors I've been reading 👀 I've been celebrating and supporting female authors for over 2 years now, and I don't think I'm gonna stop any time soon 😅
I am reading Best Served Cold right now. 100 pages left to finish. And you will love it. The characters are layered and grey. Beautiful writing.*chefs kiss*
I'm so glad you're getting back to The Spear Cuts Through Water. It immediately skyrocketed to being one of my favorite books of all time. It's absolutely incredible. It's really weird and confusing at first but the pay-off is so worth it.
Circe is a book I want to reread. I liked it when I first read it, but I think I would prefer it on reread. Im hoping to get to the last book in the Rook and Rose trilogy 😊
I think you are going to LOVE the Hexologists! Be prepared for a bit of a slower read with Babylon's Ashes (compared the the first 5). I still liked it, the pacing just drags a bit. You make me excited for Scholomance! I have really enjoyed most of Naomi Novik's books.
Wow, I've recently read so many of your planned reads (Circe, Rise of Empire, Best Served Cold, Golden Enclaves, and I just finished Babylon's Ashes this past weekend). I loved them all but I think Best Served Cold was my favorite. I highly recommend listening to Circe. The audiobook was amazing. I'm reading a non-fiction book at the moment but as soon as that's done I'll be starting book 7 of the Expense (It's currently on my nightstand calling out to me). LOL
I have read Riyria Revelations, Legends of the First Empire and Rise and Fall series...and I just finished Death of Dulgath last night. I just love Sullivan's prose!
My big goal of November is to read the Rook and Rose trilogy. I will also probably tackle book 7 in the Expanse series. I hope to get to more as well, but those are the major goals.
Rouge, Lessons in Chemistry (for one of my book clubs), Killers of a Certain Age ( for my other book club), The Jewel Box: How Moth’s Illuminate Nature’s Hidden Rules, and The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian
A lot of those are on my shelf or my Kindle. Enjoy The Golden Enclaves! Novik takes on the rest of the world, so the subject matter is huge compared to the enclosed Scholomance. But still, very cool IMO. Also enjoy Best Served Cold- I loved all three Abercrombie standalones for different reasons, and Monza's tale was a satisfying, if difficult one. Golden Son is where I set down Red Rising, with the intent to go back at some point. I haven't read enough to say if its truly better written than the 1st yet- maybe I will pick it up again soon. Books I am reading include the Green Bone trilogy (in Jade City), Royal Assassin, Toll The Hounds (Malazan 8), Servant of the Empire, and several other lighter books- oh yeah, and War And Peace ;-).
This is definitely a self serving request since I’m a first year law student but could you make a video that is around the premise of “what I would read if I only had the last year of the month to read.” As in, books you would short list now that that you have already read them if you knew you only had a limited time to do so. I thought that if you make it as a “books to read before the end of the year” video it might work for a more general audience but also for students who took a fall semester. 🤭
Hey, do you plan on ever reading Manacled? I saw someone bookbinding their own copy and it reminded me of you, for some reason. Something tells me you would be great at it and it would be amazing content...
Circe is a great book, so is the second bind-up of Ryiria ^_^ My nov tbr will be... The Burning Land by Victoria Strauss, Born to Run by Mercedes Lackey and Larry Dixon, An Echo of Things to Come by James Islington, Gridlinked by Neal Asher, Light Chaser by Peter F. Hamilton, Nemesis by Agatha Christie, The Girl the Sea Gave back by Adrienne Young, The Wise Man's Fear by Patrick Rothfuss, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Saiyuki volume 1, Samurai Deeper Kyo volume 1, Seraph of the End Volume 1, Skip Beat! Volume 1, Solo Leveling Volume 4, Suki: A Like Story volume 1, and Superman Unchained
I’ve been waiting to hear your final thoughts on The Spear Cuts Through Water! That book really reignited my love of reading, so I’m glad you are planning to get back to it!
I'll finish IQ by Joe Ide & The Covenant of Water by Abraham Verghese. For "nonfiction November" I'm aiming to read The Best Strangers in the World by Ari Shapiro and/or The Horde by Marie Favereau, and possibly any number of others I've been meaning to get to for professional development and general interest. Like Regan, I'd like to get back to the Expanse series, although I've only read the first one so far. I'd also like to keep making my way through the cosmere (I think The Emperor's Soul is next up) or Hobb's Realm of the Elderlings (starting with the Tawny Man Trilogy).
Circe is going to hook you, There there is so well written but it stomps all over your heart, he who drowned the world was so well done but damn is it dark and I hope you end up coming to love the red rising series - I need to read this latest one. I am very excited for your November tbr and to hear what you think!
Ah, Bunny is on my November TBR (below)! I can't wait to delve into it after everything I've heard about it - and look forward to hearing what you think of Rouge as well. 🥰 Love your autumnal vibes. 🍄🎃📖 ruclips.net/video/wCAPKltjr5Y/видео.html
Here's my tbr list Waypoints by sam heughan memoir Back to the prairie by melissa Gilbert memoir for nonfiction November Holly by Stephen king Savage run by c.j box Killers of a certain age by Deanna Rayburn Painted devils by Margaret owen Kulti by Mariana Zapata
Back to the Prairie was a great book. I’d highly recommend the audiobook as she reads it herself. It’s like sitting in her living room and having a conversation with her.
My main focus is going to be the Cambridge Handbook of Japanese Linguistics. I've already started it, but it's going to take me a while to get through, because it's heavily academic and thick lol. But there are also new releases in November I want to read: You Can Have My Back vol 2, Case Files of Jeweler Richard vol 6, Dark Heir, and Heaven Official's Blessing vol 8, which comes out at the end of the month. We'll see what else I get to.
I wanted to read red rising but after learning about the author's stance about Palestine (he's pro israel) I will NOT. But how can someone write about people rising up and then support israel😃
Its regan refusing to go through my constant request of switching the books around so i can see the title and not sit through a long intro. Ppl need to do like jack edwards videos and post them in the comments. 😂 cause my adhd wont let me watch a long video. And dont come for me cause its not that deep. I love u girl but chapters please!
if fall/autumn were a person, it'd be Regan 💯
💯

I love Circe so much. The audiobook narrator is amazing
I’ve read and listened to Circe: it’s a toss up! The audiobook is so so good, recommend both.
I agree. She is the perfect narrator for Circe.
taking my study break after 6.5 hours to watch this made my day 🥰
This video made me realise how few male authors I've been reading 👀 I've been celebrating and supporting female authors for over 2 years now, and I don't think I'm gonna stop any time soon 😅

I want to be like you when i grow up! The amount of books you can read in a month is ahhhmazinggggg
The spear cuts through water was one of the most unique and beautiful books I've ever read. It's truly a treasure, I hope you enjoy it!
I loved the cover and premise but the writing was soo confusing that I had to DNF it after 100 pages sadly :/ but I’m glad you enjoyed it
I'm so glad you're getting back to The Spear Cuts Through Water. It immediately skyrocketed to being one of my favorite books of all time. It's absolutely incredible. It's really weird and confusing at first but the pay-off is so worth it.

I'm so excited for you to finish Spear Cuts Through Water! I deserves so much more attentions~ Definitely my favorite read of the year
Circe is a book I want to reread. I liked it when I first read it, but I think I would prefer it on reread.

I'm sooooo excited for you to read Circe! It's the book that single-handedly broke my 5-year reading slump!!!
Omg sooooo excited that you are reading a Native American book!! There There is so good😩😩
Circe is one of my favorite books ever. I have read it I think 3 times! The audiobook is an absolutely fantastic reading also.
I think you are going to LOVE the Hexologists! Be prepared for a bit of a slower read with Babylon's Ashes (compared the the first 5). I still liked it, the pacing just drags a bit. You make me excited for Scholomance! I have really enjoyed most of Naomi Novik's books.
I have Hexologist on my tbr. 🤞
Your videos are so comforting ❤❤❤
Getting sponsored by Rosetta Stone is such a flex! Very cool
Rouge is absolutely amazing! So creepy and unsettling, and yes lots of great commentary on beauty culture.
Wow, I've recently read so many of your planned reads (Circe, Rise of Empire, Best Served Cold, Golden Enclaves, and I just finished Babylon's Ashes this past weekend). Good luck with your reading this month!
Hope you enjoy Rise of Empire. I read the first 300 pages in one day; I couldn’t put it down. The Heir of Novron’s ending blew my mind.
My November TBR is pretty much The Faithful and The Fallen.
Yessssss

Circe is one of my favourite novels of all time 🥰
I finished the riyria revelations today and it was amazing ❤ Michael J Sullivan became one of my favorite authors !!!
I have read Riyria Revelations, Legends of the First Empire and Rise and Fall series...and I just finished Death of Dulgath last night. I just love Sullivan's prose!

Killers of a Certain Age was great fun
I already started with Rouge. Also on my tbr is Nick Joaquin stories, rereading some Edgar Allan Poe, and Little Darlings by Melanie Golding.
Great lineup! I'd love to read Circe and The Pillars of the Earth.
Best Served Cold was sooooo good!!

I much preferred Circe over SOA. The jumps in time were hard to get around but overall an enjoyable read.
The in person book club I participate in is reading There, There for our November read.look forward to hearing your thoughts when you’re finished.

Expanse book 6 is a fun time! It has one of my favorite paragraphs in the whole series. Have you tried the show yet?
I thought Circe was fantastic and loved it even more than Song of Achilles!
What a fun TBR!

Best Served Cold is Joe Abercrombie’s best book!!!
