I feel like the punishment should be that you move backwards on the board so it takes you longer to get to the end. Eg move 2 spots back for each book you didn’t complete
It will take me 2 years to get my net galley percentage up. I’ve been at 33% all year 😂. That’s with reading 2-5 a month. The math ain’t matching but also i can’t stop requesting 😂😂😂
A seasonal reads pack that encompasses summer reads, fall reads, and holiday reads would be good. I don't think a single seasonal pack would be as appealing as those popular categories.

i think that you should either loose book tokens by the size of the book (so bigger ones are worth more to loose) or you can only go half the spaces for each book you didn't finish

I do like this month's tbr. I adored Half a Soul, and I really want to read September House, but part of me feels like the Book Gods will smite me if I don't read it during September but can I really wait a whole year to read it? I do not know.

I personally read slow and haven’t been reading much so I think I’d prefer to not finish the board in one round. I do like the idea of losing 2 tokens though
tbh i think losing the tokens is a fair punishment, as adding more rolls/books would defeat the purpose if the reason people didn't finish was bc they were overwhelmed with the amount or didn't have the time, it's doubtful they'd have more time next month for MORE books. as the point is to collect as many of the tokens for check-out, then losing tokens per unread book is appropriate.

maybe if u dont finish it u have to add another book to your tbr or that and lose 1 token instead of 2.
