Trans people today were called Two Spirit people among Native Americans hundreds of years ago. They were often revered because they were perceived as human hybrids. They could do the work of men and women and seemed to have additional spiritual healing and psychic abilities. Interestingly, cultures all over the world and throughout history had the exact same belief. Which seems way too coincidental. It’s important to note, the trans people of that time weren’t known to reject their bodies. I think the problem concerning trans people (including kids) suffering from body dysmorphia today stems from a culture that asserts that males should be exclusively masculine and females should be exclusively feminine. It’s very psychologically damaging for a (for example) feminine boy to grow up in that kind of environment. And when he’s attracted to men, being raised in a hyper-homophobic society makes it much much worse. Once we (again) honored these people as they are, natural and normal, trans kids will own their bodies as god made them and contribute their gifts to civilizations as they were meant to do. Instead of focusing so much on their trauma, they will shine their light on us again.

@@vidadesi7638 You are absolutely incorrect. I have never read any literature that Two Spirit people were exclusively hermaphrodites. You should really do more research. It's well documented that Two Spirit people were feminine men and masculine women.

Two spirited was a term created by a white anthropologist. The core concept is hotly debated among Indiginous leaders and the true intention of the term varies among and across indigenous cultures. This has been overshadowed by the insistence of activist groups who seek to show a specific version of history that aligns with their agenda. The fact is that it's not that simple.

It is much more complex than it is, trans people were wearing clothes of the opposite sex in those indigenous cultures, but the paradigm is changing, as we're leaving the duality and enter the 5D earth, so will the physical matter become more malleable, from a higher perspective the clothes are no different from our body, they are all a condensed energy, and we alter the clothes as an aspect of nature all the time to accommodate our needs, through that alteration of nature we achieve a chemical process, even just by consuming food, our body alters that nature, do you see where I'm going with this? Trans people are not transitioning because they reject their body, it is a handicap, there are historical accounts of trans people in those tribes using horse urine or castration how to trans their body. It is a physical handicap the same like being born with 2 heads or intersex, the right major hormone of the opposite sex alleviates stress on the enrves connected to the heart and bowels, depression, anxiety and psycho-somatic symptoms effecting their own health. This is why they are encouraged to transition still as children before the body is more deformed, gender dysphoria comes through various degress of intensitity, and it is genetic. People are not born physically perfect, we come in here with karmci imprints for the purpose of changing them, we fall down into this realm for the purpose of transformation, transgender people symbolize that process perfectly as the art that humans are, moulding ourselves in God's divine image, which is our highyer self guiding our steps. I know trans people who transitioned after having their own spiritual awakening, being yogis, buddhists, christians. Transition is a sacred journey of a spiritual and sexual embodiment and grounding.

The key point is at the end of the video: love. Transgender people are not mentaly ill. It's a matter of internal perception. I personaly feel my body as a female one even if it is male. I can't explain it. It can't be a social issue because I've always been like that. The issue came later when people rejected me and forced me to build a false identity which took about 40 years to collapse under the pressure of my internal being wanting to express itself truly, with authenticity and not in conformation with society rules. Is it a brain issue? Is it only an issue? I am as I am. It makes me understand both female and male natures. So I take it as a opportunity to grow spiritualy... because all my life has always been turned through my spiritual evolution and the spiritual evolution of people around me. So why is it this way doesn't trouble me anymore. It's just a way of being, my way of being. And people who know me never think I'm mentaly ill. I hope my answer can complete this video. Thank you for the question and take care of you and others.

It is always nice to hear folks emphasis the importance of love and acceptance even when they do not fully understand a group of people. As a trans, nonbinary, agender person I can assure you gender identity has nothing to do with the body. I could literally wake up in any other body and still feel deeply that I am an agender person. The physical traits are merely a vessel and set of equipment. You cannot tell anyone's gender simply by looking at them or even study how they act, dress, or sound. Your sense of being male, female, or nonbinary is in your mind/heart, not your physiology. The only way you can truly know someone’s gender is if they tell you. Other points of confusion seemed to be around orientation and gender identity. Sexual Orientation- is who your care for while Gender Identity- is your innate sense of self. Again, I am grateful to hear folks approach this conversation with love and acceptance since this will lead to a healthier society for trans and cisgender people alike.

💚❤ Thank you Deepak. As a transgender person with spiritual growth on my resume. I just thought I'd add.
People who can't accept transgender persons have often engaged in hate and even murder.
Hate-filled people have often dismembered transgender people trans women in particular after their murder.
It would really help society if they would begin to see transphobic people as people struggling with a mental challenge.
I understand that it goes against societal norms. And this stage society would prefer to ignore the true phenomenon playing out.
I don't judge I just think when society is ready it will have a lot to benefit from understanding both sides of the equation.
People who hate are victims. Human beings don't naturally hate anyone.
Put two three year olds on the playground and observe them, you are unlikely to see them judging and discriminating against each other.

One thing I truly want to correct is that transgender is not a sexual orientation, it's gender identity. Transgender comes in gay, straight, bisexual, asexual and all other categories. I have ftm (female to male) friends that identify as gay men, meaning they may have been born female but are men that likes men. There are ftm straight meaning born a girl, identifies as a man and likes women. Then there are people that identifies as two genders (two spirit is a word for them and transgender that used to be used in native American culture) either at the same time or day to day or moment to moment. For instance, having a male day or female day or in between day that can best be described as a gender spectrum which we all are on. Everybody has both estrogen and testosterone and gender identity is not black and white. Then we have people that identifies as genderless, neither one or the other and often prefer the pronouns they/them. I know this is hard to grasp for most that has a "the glove fits" life and that is okay! Just remember that sometimes the glove does not fit.
There are stories of shamans that could hear the spirit of a baby enter the womb and how they were upset that they got the wrong body and ended up checking out and the baby miscarried. There are very young children talking about transgender stuff, like boys saying they want to be moms when they grow up, that gravitate towards dolls, dresses, heel shoes, etc. There also are cases of kids that tells the parents that they are a boy/girl and even asks for opposite pronouns and even a different name. Kids don't have a sexual orientation but they do have gender identity and I suspect the identity happens before birth due to the stories that are around.
Then of course there are drag kings and drag queens which dress up for show and entertainment and while there are transgender that enters this, quite most of them identify as their non-show gender and are comfortable in their skin. Same with cross dressers. It might be a two spirit thing or similar but it could also be a sexual orientation deal where crossdressing could be a turn on.
Transgender have a lot more on the line than ridicule, they can be verbally, physically or even sexually assaulted, even killed. There is also the very high risk of being disowned by friends and family. If they could choose to not be transgender they would. It's a life of suffering for most whether they choose to transition or not. And no you can't always tell by looking at them. Very many have a lifetime of practice of blending in.

Do you have kids? I ask you because, even though it is true and kids would prefer pink or blue or whatever.. it is more in a way of exploring the world not necessarily reaffirming their gender. They know nothing about gender "rules".

My perspective on this is simple. We do choose our gender when we reincarnate. Why would we then “regret” the choice is another question. Then what’d we do about it is one more question to ponder upon. There are no right or wrong answers to this last question. Our actions (transformation or not and if yes, how) should but reflect our own maturity, and should come from a deeper reflection on what exactly will help us feel more at home. My position on the matter which reflects my own path... although I do have strong inclinations that I’ve been much more times reincarnated as a male, and often I question why would I ever choose a female boy, I’d stick with it. I’m sexually attracted to men. I’m married happily for almost 25 years with wonderful grownup children. I don’t have body Dysphoria, although I’d love to look more masculine and passing at times. My soul, my mind, my way of thinking and acting are not typically feminine. So... no conclusion. Just my story, my path... Transition is not just a medical thing. You shouldn’t think about it that way. If you choose not to transition medically for whatever reasons, you are not any less transgender than those who have. Please just stay in touch with yourself and with community for support! Namaste!

  • @MathewRainTranslife101

Please do not confuse gender identity with sexual orientation as they are two different things. A transgender person can be straight, gay or bisexual just like anyone else. Sex, gender and sexuality are all different aspects of a person. Sex = biology/body, Gender = mind, Sexuality = who you are attracted to. "Transgenders" is not a word. Transgender is an adjective. You can't be a transgender you can be a transgender women or a transgender man or just a transgender person. When the body and mind do not align this causes much discomfort and hence the reason why transgender people seek medical attention such as hormones and surgery. It is not a choice, nonone chooses to be transgender. I don't think the question was really answered but then the question itself was not all that clear. Seems both the person asking and Deepak are not too clued up on what it actually means to be trans.

To the original question, it’s not a “mental issue” in the sense of the trans person just “choosing” to be trans-though I do believe we are misleading some young people into making that as a choice prematurely before they have finished the adolescent process of finding out who they are sexually-and if it is a “mental” issue, it’s no more mental than a straight person thinking they are straight just because of their secondary sexual characteristics. It’s all mind anyway-doesn’t matter what your orientation is. But each of us needs to express the unique identity-the form-we have been given. If that form, gender wise, is trans, then we should honor and support that choice. This is a separate issue from being on guard against a fetishization of sexual identity that denies are spiritual identity. This, too, is a problem in our current time that helps explain why suddenly a much larger percentage of young people than has ever been historically true, are identifying as “trans”-some of this may well reflect gender confusion rather than gender identity.

A lot of trans are into spirituality as well. Some not so much. And there's also a government agenda to really downplay the spiritual aspect of trans. The government always likes to pervert everything and turn it into something bad or make it seem like something that's it's not. In other words the government's using it for their own agenda. But when it comes to transgender, the mighty creator of the universe had a massive plan for this. Everybody plays their role on this Earth for a particular job. And that includes transgenders. And they are seen throughout civilization, different cultures. Transgenders are here for many reasons but one of them is to destroy the idea of separation and duality. It's to bring everybody back to oneness. We are All One together. There is no separation. Transgenders are the embodiment of oneness. It's just that some transgenders don't know that. And so we need spiritual transgenders to help spread awareness of what this is all really out. these are very special people with specific missions and it's time for people to start learning. Learning to up and accept one another without judgment. Learning to just be one together. There's so much to this. And yes transgenders have a sexuality and their sexuality is expressed in the way that they feel. But unfortunately Hollywood has perverted the idea of transgender and made it into something of a fetish and that's what most people see it as. So then the Christian people think that it's lust and all this other stuff. But in actuality it's a very Divine thing. And we need to protect the transgenders from hatred and violence. It's a pure love experience and the reason why we're seeing more transgenders come out it's because this world really is being called to love and accept and to see past the illusions of what society says about transgenders. I love transgenders with my whole heart. The ones that are awake have Divine protection and cannot be touched. Anyways one love to you and I absolutely agree with your comment. I would love to speak on this experience myself.

    • @Shalanaya

@@jayykayy3590 As a transgender person who has had a spiritual awakening I would like to thank you, because it's very much true, we are messengers representing the number 3 (feminine curve) after the number 1 and 2 (masculine straight patterns) that allows humans to perceive polarity with an exapnded consciousness, like how this or that can be, how man and woman can be, this is why as if divinely guided we're making sure humans see us as men or women, and not trans something, as if to drive this point across for our collective consciousness. I have been training my mind this way too, by dettaching from the extreme polarity and seeing the spectrum in another transgender person, which allowed me to dettach from beLIEfs and instead of into a holistic perception by seeing things as they are.
Animals have no man and woman categorization, only sexual instincts, the same instincts that makes a herosexual dude sexually attracted to a trans woman.
Instincts are the preprogrammed responses to external stimuli. Instincts are a part of preintellectual behavior that is not based on any prior learning or experience. Many biologists consider instinct to be a series of traceable fixed-action patterns triggered by a key stimulus. Pheromones, chemical signals detected by smell, for example, constitute a key stimulus for the release of some sex hormones. These hormones in turn provoke sexual behaviors.
In this universe there are only contrasts of sexual dimorphism where each part of the body can have varying degrees of masculine or feminine development overlapping each other. It is the chaos of diversity that is freeing this world, it is the rules and norms that are killing it, because mother nature can not possibly fit into them, it is the arrogance of human ego that strives to command it.
In the early 1800's German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer and the author of The World as Will and Representation wrote that man is incarnate sexual instinct, and individuals did not have their own separate wills, but all shared in a larger group will that governed the species, for the individual owes his origin to copulation and the wish of his wishes to copulate, because the sexual instinct is the highest affirmation of life and the most important concern of Man and animal, in conflict with it, no motivation, however strong, would be sure of victory. Schopenhauer also points out, the sexual instinct is "a delusion of the individual, who believes to care for his welfare whereas he is fulfilling the aim of the Species, and that is copulation and the merging of consciousness (masculine) with mother nature (feminine).
Body instinct is what forms gender identity in our body, and also sexual orientation, all humans and animals have it, we sexually interact and self interact based on it, which allows us to recognize whether we're aligned with our own sexually dimorphic body, transsexual people did not come into this world self aligned that way. This is how LGBT are connected, it is the same thing only experienced in a different way, one is a direction of sexual instincts towards the other people on the outside, the other is directed towards one’s own body. Most trans people are autistic, and the wiring of the brain in autistic people makes us dettached from the physical matter a lot, that's why many are also non-verbal, for trans autistic people transition helps us to merge consciousness with nature, and through this process we tend to collapse duality, this is why the colective ego resists us so much, as if they needed to preserve the predatory paradigm.
In this world many people have repressed their reptilian brain/instincts through the socialization, and so only rational and emotional brain have been largely active, this is why we can imagine easily how for a long time many people must have repressed their own homosexual orientations in order to fit into a social norm. When we align all 3 brains together we naturally start becoming a threat to a social order, and that is what is happening. The fact that humans out there perceive us as somehow destroying healthy bodies should be perceived more as a resistance towards their pain, death, dark, the opposite of the spectrum whatever it is. Humans are encouraged to transcend this.

Okay if awareness is the ultimate reality, what if awareness, consciousness, is itself two halves? I am saying what if there is positive (male) and negative (female) awareness? What if some people are more in tune with male, logical, mental, positive, awareness, some people are in tune with more of the emotional, intuitive, female, negative current of consciousness, and some people are in tune with both aspects of awareness as one? Maybe the experience of a woman doing mindfulness meditation, for example, is really tuned in tune the body and emotions, and the experience of a man doing the same mindfulness awareness meditation is more in tune with the thoughts and observing thoughts. And what if for the sake of natures diversity and God's sense of humor, some people are in male bodies, but their awareness is more emotional, and vice versa?

Love over the truth, always, why because love is the truth, this is the trick for the ego, most humans on this planet are lost in that confusion who hold onto the truth while losing the love, and therefore creating more destruction to everything around them. All the fasscistic leaders used to think like the truth is more important than compassion and love. That's why they used to say that we're not equal by thinking our diffrences make us not equal, but equality is meant in dignity and divinity. I understand that we are all equal spiritually etc, and I do not judge anyone of differing gender. I only find it confusing to understand how bodily parts could be different from what one feels and it seems like it could be a false image of oneself or maybe it is a biologic phenom. I mean how is a girl who feels like a tom boy be different than a transgender. I am curious why science/experts have deemed transgender a non-mental issue. I suppose it could be an entanglement from a spirit's past life as another gender possibly.... It fine. I am not judging. Just curious.

Transgender women have female brain structures, and transgender men have male brain structures. Both autopsies and brain scans have shown this. So it isn't a psychological issue, it's a biological condition to do with the body's formation in the womb. The mother may not produce the right hormones, or the fetus' brain might have resistance to those hormones.

A tomboy girl feels like a girl and identifies as a girl, but a transgender man may be in a female body but in every fiber of their being feels male and is male and will feel like the body is somebody else's and may even have thoughts of self mutilation, wish of breast cancer just to not have a chest anymore, is embarrassed about the breasts and hips, will probably try binders to feel and look flatter to be more comfortable in their skin, may struggle with intimacy, may get eating disorder to not develop curves, may self harm and suicide rate is a lot higher. On top of that and with that being said - not all transgender wants to transition. Some trans men are fully okay with living life as a tomboy. There actually are quite a lot of cases of trans men being the most feminine girl you have ever met to try to get the feeling to go away or to hide that they feel this way or even because they have been teased or ridiculed for not being woman enough. As far as trans women go that are born in male bodies it is much worse. For one thing because trans men are socially acceptable to be tomboys but trans women don't have that option. They get called gay and even worse lots get beat down in the street and even murdered, raped and much else. They will be dysphoric about their bodies too and may have thoughts and toying with the idea of "if I could just slice it off..." because it does not belong there. The brain says it should be smooth and it isn't. They struggle with the facial hair, with other body hair often like on the arms and back, with having large shoulders and broad back, with the Adam's apple, receding hairline and so on and so forth. I believe transgender suicide rate is 33% higher than "other" people and quite often it's the dysphoria they can't live with for another minute.

@@AmbiCahira I am glad I see some answers from well informed people here. It really helps. There is so much disinformation and it is insulting to the extreme to think of gender dysphoria as a spiritual defect and/or karma. A) it implies that being a cis men and /or woman is actually better and "more spiritualy advanced" and B) most people do not even know to what extent they are identified with the body but trans people do. Deepak confuses gender and sexual orientation. He also says trans people exist and need to be understood as part of the human experience. Then he says there is no separation of mind and body. In fact, that is what being trans is all about. A trans person's body in terms of gender just does not fit who they feel they are. There is disconnect between how they want to be and perceive themselves, and their bodies. Deepak does not get to bottom of that and how it relates to our spiritual life. Very disappointing.

Sounds like book talk. Wanting to sound understanding with spiritual overtones but yet not convincing at alll?

“Any judgement really is a call against love”. Can you clarify what is meant by this? Obviously people have to make judgments. Drunk driving is bad for example. That is a judgment; thus according to you it is a call against love. Did you mean to say any judgment about human sexuality? If so, there has to be some sex acts or sexuality you would judge as bad. I could make some heinous examples but you understand I’m sure. So that isn’t what you meant surely. How do you justify what is love to accept and what is to heinous to accept? Also are you conflating sexuality and trans identity?

Judging a person is not loving. But behaviour that is morally wrong and could harm others should be judged.
So, yes, drink driving is wrong. But the person themselves should not be judged, only the behaviour.

@@Nat-111 my post just referred to judgments, not people. Though judgment can be loving as you have illustrated. I know most Christians refer to harmful behavior as sin and judge the behavior and not the person. For example, one could pray that a serial killer would change their behavior; that is not judging the person by evidence that one is praying for their soul. Likewise, a trans person may be harming themselves and others; I can judge that behavior as wrong and still be loving. It’s not the same love as I have for my spouse of course.

Evaluation is different from judgment. Value judgment is against love, it is a disconnection from the divine and our higher self. It should be obvious. The only one who can judge is our higher self, Jesus Christ represented that higher self, and even his words were not value judgments in the way of this is good and this is bad, but evaluation and observation. Humans need to learn the diference between validation and disagreement. You can not misgender someone and say you disagree with their pronouns, we validate their diference, there is no space for disagreement in this, it is like saying I disagree with the color of your eyes, one can not disagree with someone's existence, because it is disguised as invalidation, it is an attack on humanity and mother nature, and it is judgment. In spirituality we are learning to accept pesophilia, murder, rape, etc. That is the ultimate goal of transcendence of duality, there is also no room for disagreement, it is what it is, it is not good or bad. We can make actions to prevent it, but we do not invalidate/judge it. This is ALL what this is about, most spiritual masters have been teaching this all the time, it seems like most people find it easier to go back 3D old testament religion where self righteousness rules. Judgment prevents God to step in, it allows us to play being God. We are validating anything in life, because all is one, and all is a creation of God, when doing so we are collapsing duality and bringing in heaven on earth, because we are not fooled by darkness that temps our ego into judgment.

@@Nat-111 Person or their act are the same! All is one and all is God's creation. Any value judgment as good or bad is a judgment against the person and against love. Please read my post to the other person. We can say I don't agree to drive drunk, I dont prefer it, it is not good or bad for others, it is what it is. It is not a value judgment, it is just concerning me. Just like when someone murders or rapes someone, it is not good or bad, it is what it is - a beautiful opportunity for the karma to take place and for the participants to learn. I am not a judge for others, I am only agreeing to what I want or dont want for myself. Most people play being Gods when they violate it, because they have lost the connection to divinity by playing within the duality which is a realm of cofusion and contradiction.

@@Shalanaya Eye color is something someone is born with unless they are colored contacts or similar. Transgenderism is not something born with. It is mental, of the mind like a thought or opinion. I do disagree with Transgenderism as an ideology because it hurts so many people. That’s ok for me. I love the people which is why I don’t want to see them hurt. It’s against the values of my family so it is not an option for my kid. That is love.
