Hi Mike , I admire your patience and attention to the way the metal patches fit. It is easy to stress patches to make them fit but much better to have the patch lay in place with very little holding them in place. I feel if a few magnets hold it then the metal forming is done and ready to be welded. Excellent work. Frank
Mike your welding of patches is an inspiration for me to try an emulate; really pretty work! I have a rusty Sunbeam Alpine S1 with dodgy-brothers slapped on patches all over it, which are aesthetically annoying. Hopefully I can make it as pretty as your TR.
