Star wars Easter eggs and references you'll might have missed in the Loki 1st episode :
As everyone knows Kevin Fiege is a Star wars fan so he don't miss to put any star wars reference to MCU media anytime he gets chance 😈
The robot which removed Loki's clothes could be an Easter to Star wars Nursing Droids
The TV animation and explaination of Multiverse by Ms.Minutes was so much similar to the star wars opening act scenes of "In a galaxy far far away"
Buckethead !!!!! Everybody knows buckethead was a reference to Stormtroopers
Hunter U19 - a name noticed when TVA went back in 1549 France could be a Eater egg to star wars stormtroopers TK nos. And hunter B-15 lady too who arrested Loki
TVA city is also so much similar to Landon's cloud city of Bespin from episode 5 empire strikes back
Plus floating vehicles which is filled throughout the star wars media !!

Writer and creator of Loki series is also the one writing the script of Dr Strange Multiverse of Madness so there's gonna be a true connection between these 2😍😍
13:43 and this one is a reference to your mom 🤣🤣🤣🤣 a good one Ryan!
15:44 Nope! Odin can't be involved in the DB Cooper prank... Loki mentioned only Heimdall and His brother Thor ... And I think Odin was a man of righteousness who wouldn't take part in such pranks
Do we need to order from your list to get the discount? Or just the link?
What a promising start!

Absolutely 🙌
Nah, the next line "You'll melt away from the inside. Please step into the machine." 😂🤣
Terminator
"a lot" - Two separate words.
Nah... the best line is right after that...
Loki: "What's that?
TVA Agent: "Your temporal aura"
Loki: "What's THAT?"

Looll I got a L'Oréal ad midway in the video. Resulting in it going like this:
"when Loki talks about killing people, he says 'I do it because..' 'YOU'RE WORTH IT, L'Oréal" hahahaha I just thought that was hilarious and wanted to share
Loki causes mischief and pain "all so that others can achieve the best versions of themselves." Which is, ironically, exactly what Loki will be doing for HIMSELF in this show.
Wow never realized that. So evil lady loki will make Tom's loki a hero/best version of himself, nicee.
Wow. Thanks. I didn't see that!!
so that means you have to face yourself and your demons to be the best version of yourself

Also Zoom: beats you up afterwards.
When Loki is watching his alternate life, at the end of the tape it says “ETH-616” as a reference to Earth 616, the main Marvel Comic Universe.
THAT is a very fun detail
It’s not his alternative life it was his future. This took place just after the first avenger film.
@@neilmcgivern2759 It's alternate to him, because he (the variant) can never rejoin that timeline.
@@neilmcgivern2759 Actually this took place after the event of the 2011 New York battle in Infinity War.

Really hoping we’ll get a Owen Wilson “WOW” from him in this show
or a reference to his dorky lines in the Armageddon movie
I wonder how Thanos or the creatures felt when they saw a void of chaos spreading through their universe
If not we'll add our own. It will eventually be canon.
I hope Loki will do some really cool escape from the TVA and then Owen Wilson will say it
It is inevitable.
I think Loki also doubts wether or not he's a robot because at that point in time he had only recently learnt he was a frost giant
It isn't the collar that canceled out Loki's powers, it was being in the TVA itself (just as the Tesseract and Infinity Stones had no power there). The collar was just the device used to rewind Loki.
This guy get's a lot wrong.
I do think that it does damper powers as well since he didn't seem to be able to use any of his powers before they dragged him into the TVA
@@azulBjort_1406 being in the TVA causes the use of magic to be impossible. Plus they referred to it as a “time collar”.
@@azulBjort_1406 that was because whatever stick they hit him with put him in some weird ass slo mo mode, and he was quickly ushered to the TVA. kinda hard to use ur abilities when u just got hit really hard in the face with a slo-mo baton.
@@azulBjort_1406 well the newest episode Sylvie couldn't use her powers and she didn't have a collar so it's just that itself
It is also pretty cool that we got a shout out to Coulson. I mean he was a non-comic character (later transcribed to the comics) that existed in almost all the phase 1 films, went on for 7 seasons of SHIELD, got a flashback sequence in Captain Marvel and get's an archival death footage shout out given that the titular character is the one that killed him. But not just that, he got the credit as being the reason for what the Avengers united to avenge.
in this house we love and support one (1) phil coulson
Yes I loved that! Specially as in the end agents of Shield was taken out of canon MCU, so it is nice that Coulson still is acknowledged as key in the Canon!
@@mncj452 it is canon, just that it's not happening in the main timeline. The first season was canon I think, but when they started to play with the monoliths, they were thrown out.
The greatest Avenger
@@capcorn7872 well then it would not make sense with the sacred timeline ;) they would all have had to end up in the TVA... so I am sure they are not Canon anymore. But whoe knows, maybe down the road we will get an explanation for that, would be great :)
Something I loved is Tom Hiddleston managed to revert back 2012 Loki. Loki died a hero in 2018. This Loki is still a villain. Burdened with glorious purpose. But still a villain.
Really thought how they started this series up was overall great , they really take u in the action from the jump in , and man it got really emotional when Möbius shows the footage from future Loki events
“This button could be a reference to marvel’s Zombies, AND this button is a reference to your mom” completely caught me off guard

Imagine how the TVA employees feel abt watching some dude kill everyone for their paperweights 💀
😔
The gems are still ultimately powerful... It's just they only work in their home realities, take a gem to another universe and it's a paperweight, protect the sacred timeline from varients long enough you'll end up with a mountain of em, basically the equivalent of that one high lvl character in games who drops rare items cuz he's overweight but doesn't care because to him they are nothing but to you they are gold
@Mike Diaz stfu
@Mike Diaz that’s funny, because I was thinking it was more like the way someone feels when observing godless societies engage in such crimes as killing each other over a cheeseburger and shit
They're probably like: "You people are so petty... and tiny."
Mobius doesn’t show Loki his death, he chose to watch his future himself like I thought he would, but, Loki doesn’t see his Ragnarok “your saviour is here” moment?
Loki being D. B. Cooper is thee best thing I've ever seen in my life, that's clever writing right there!
I laughed hard when in the ending sequence they DID use the Infinity Stones as paperweight.
Also Tom Hiddleston's performance when Loki watched his future is absolute on point and bring many emotional side of the character during a short time.
I don't think it was the collar that was preventing Loki from using his powers. I think his powers didn't work for the exact same reason I think the Infinity Stones are just stones; the TVA is located outside of either time or the universe. Since their power is cosmic, it has nothing to draw on and are essentally inert.
Yep, the collar was just for the time twister device.
Yeah, magic or cosmic power of any kind simply doesn't work here. I've heard people say the stones didn't work because the universes they came from were gone and they lost their power, but the Tesseract didn't work either and its universe is still intact. Technically they should have been putting the Tesseract back to correct the timeline like Cap did, not ending it.
Yep
@@emerje0 you looking at time in a linear sense, the one true timeline has a start and a end and it’s all happening at once. if they remove the variant and reset it nothing changes.
@@eyelikehurdles I just want to point out that there is absolutely zero evidence the "one, true timeline" thing is anything more than jist the preferred timeline of the Timekeepers. They're painted as altruistic, and I have doubts.
Loki called some of the TVA workers who were wearing helmets “bucket heads” a reference to Star wars
Also, I've heard Spidey referring to N.O.V.A as a Bucket Head
Ironman has also been called ol’ buckethead. 🤓
@THE INFINITIVERSE SAGA OK fool. But in the comics Iron Man is also referred Buckethead. I’m not saying it’s a reference to one thing or another I’m just putting that out there, fool...
Bucket head isn't a star wars reference lmao that term's been around for centuries
@tbrz_ lol whatever
When Loki finishes watching his "movie", the words End of File appear. File is an anagram for Life. Loki's life has ended.
Oh damn good find!
Great find dude 👏🏾👏🏾
Well yeah no duh
"Your the criminal with the blue box" Was a great Doctor Who pun.
Question: Shouldn't Loki s skin turn blue in the VA because his normal skin color is a result of magic?
Episode 2 has that variant of him.
maybe they bleached him like michael jackson xD
Maybe Odin's magic overpower the TVA
I think it's because the magic that makes him not blue is not magic that is baing actively used, it's
magic that was already done. So loki wouldn't be blue just like (I'm assuming) an object changed by a spell would not suddenly change back. Also loki had looked like that for thousands of years, it's basically integrated into his very being
When Casey said "I know you! You're the criminal with the blue box!" my mind instantly went to the Doctor and the TARDIS. The TVA must HATE them.

When Miss Minutes is running through the orientation, she called the chaotic branches of the timelines a "madness" in the "multiverse."
Wanda vision and this sets up Doc Strange movie and Kang is the Thanos of this phase and ant man 3 is where Kang should up
I noticed that too 🙂

I love how Loki knows about the time heist and mentions he smelt two Tony’s 🤣
The concept of the TVA gels really well with Norse Mythology in general. After all, one of the biggest overriding themes in Norse Mythology is fatalism and predestination. In the Norse Ragnarok, all the gods and monsters play specific roles and die in specific fashions, and everything that happens up to that point builds to that end. In Norse mythology, pretty much everything happens because it is supposed to happen, which matches quite well with the concept of the TVA and the Sacred Timeline.
That scene of all the infinity stones in that drawer and being used as paper weights fucked me up just as much as it fucked loki up lol I was like whaaaaaaaaat?!?!
It was a very good scene though. It really shows that here, despite all their power, the infinity stones are nothing.

@@imhnzla As John Oliver put it - "Jeff Bezos is the answer to the question 'what if Lex Luthor was?'" :-)
13:00 The collar isn’t a power dampener! The collar was used to be able to control him through the time remote (which he later used on B-15). The TVA itself is a place without magic, taken from the conversation he had with Mobius around the time he and we were shown the scenery and layout of the hq.
Was just gonna say this. Good catch.
One nice thing I noticed is when the TVA pulls Loki and the tesseract through their time door the tesseract stays glowing all up until the door closes then it just dims out like the plug had been pulled. I guess the infinity stones just have no power outside of the timeline where the TVA exists and they just end up shiny rocks there.
Basically this
Also means that if a door from their world is open they might still be used in the TVA
The song that plays in the elevator is the String Quartet No.13, D 804 "Rosamunde", by Franz Schubert. That piece was played in Loki's scene at the party in Germany.
I absolutely love these breakdowns and Easter Egg videos. No one does them better than Ryan. Since the inclusion of the Quantum Realm in the Antman movies, time travel in Avengers Endgame, and everything we’ve seen so far in the Loki series, everything is truly pointing to the introduction of Kang the Conqueror. I never really put 2 and 2 together until you mentioned the tiny city we briefly see in the Quantum Realm is actually Chronopolis. The city of Chronopolis is lead by Kang and what better villain to bring into the MCU when we’re dealing with time travel and alternate time lines. Kang is definitely going to be the next big bad in the upcoming Marvel films.

Is the Sorcerer Supreme aware of the TVA? That's a question that crossed my mind multiple times, especially seeing the Time Stone.
Does that mean they will send him a replacement for Multiverse of Madness? Lol
I absolutely believe the Ancient One/Sorcerer Supreme knew of the TVA. It makes sense because she technically explained this to The Hulk in End Game, about making branches when you remove one of the stones. She literally says "me giving you the time stone will doom MY own reality" which means she has knowledge or other realities. Now, whether or not the Ancient One was allowed to say specifically the TVA will capture you if you mess something up is another thing

Also, the head writer (?) was tweeting some praise for the crew and casually mentioned that the second episode is a "highlight" of the series. Can't wait! I just have to say I love these videos for two things ; the "Your Mom" name drops and Doug in his little blue managers shirt at the end of every episode. 😂😂
There's always at least one hilarious cutaway in each of your vids. This one's winner was Jeff Bezos
I’m hoping that maybe at the end of the series we’ll see the events of wandavision happening from the TVA and Loki’s perspective. I hope Evan Peters Quicksilver is also being used as a puppet by the TVA like Loki. Maybe Peter Maximoff created a nexus event in the fox universe or maybe Wanda or Agatha pulled Quicksilver from the multiverse creating a nexus event.
Despite how much I'd loved Fietro was actually QS from XMEN, the problem with Agatha, at least, is that she said she wasn't able to bring Pietro Maximoff for two main reason: the guy was dead, and far from her reach. So if someone in your own reality is that far from you that you cannot bring him to you, then how you can drag someone from a different universe?
@@WigantX as the show was airing... there was this really epic theory of pietro ( from the fox X-men timeline) was sent and trying to get a hold of Wanda from expanding her hex. Right before he got the chance, Agatha captured him with the necklace.
In the scene where Loki watches himself throughout other films that’s clearly a reference to your mom
What does mom mean?
@@ginoongchristopher1398 don't you know what a mom is?😳
@@bensenzo No , I'm new here that's why I'm asking
An easter egg you missed was when Loki was in the elevator talking to Mobius he asks how long he's been there and Mobius says "I don't know it's hard to say time passes differently in the TVA..." this is a nod to Thor Ragnarok with Thor and the Grand Master
I love your cuts from other series / movies. They add so much to the video.
"More like a freaky circle"
"Oh, there goes gravity" xD
“Marvels what if” is coming next, that’s basically a multi-verse in itself. Does that mean Time keepers failed to stop Loki? Technically we already see deviant Loki as the one with the horns and the vote pin
What If is The Watcher telling stories of what could’ve happened. Those timelines don’t have to still exist for him to say what happened in them
Only thing that doesn’t make sense is Gamora as of now ok going off her normal timeline but not Loki?
No she is still dead.
@@gidden2000 No the 2014 Gamora, aka the one from Avengers Endgame who wasn’t yet apart of the Guardians was left alive and was even seen leaving when Tony sacrificed himself after the old Thanos time travelled to the future and tried to kill the Avengers for good
Last time I was this early, Loki was still in the timeline
As I watched the first episode, I just kept thinking how spot on your Loki Character video was. Thanks for that.
i wonder is there will ever be a reality where Tom's Loki meets with Stanley Ipkiss' Loki from the Mask.
“I’m pretty sure this one’s a reference to the marvel zombies timeline, and this one’s a reference to your mom”
I bet that lady is helping Kang , that face behind her looks so much like him it feels like foreshadowing
I wish I could give you additional thumbs up for that Jeff Bezos shade 😂.
literally lost my sh*t haha
I particularly appreciated one fact: Loki has always been intelligent and showed that he knew everything, he even knew what the infinity stones were, but he did not know about the existence of TVA. For the first time he is confused, bewildered, he is dealing with something he does not know, and this does not scare him but rather encourages him.
Sure, condensing a change that took place over the course of four films and many (MCU) years with just the fastforward of a microfilm seemed very forced to me, however that's okay ahaha
I doubt seeing his future made him into original Loki. Knowing something and living through something is different. I suspect the trauma is less, and this version of Loki is a less serious version. Also, his universe got erased, he can't go back. He has no one to protect and nothing to prove to his family.
He might be less cautious, more inclined to just enjoy the absurdity that is TVA and his own existence.💚
@@Sienisota I'm beginning to fear a bit of foreshadowing, when aknowledging what the TVA was really about he spoken the line "Is this the greatest power in the universe?", the tone he spoken that line wasn't of reverence, it was hunger.
Being the king of the nine realms is something, but being the King of the multiverse?
Probably the main variance they are searching for is exactly after that power.
