I don't like rear mounted motors since pushing a boat is much harder than pulling when your following a shore line or fighting the wind. But since You're only using one. I guess it makes most sense in the back.
Looks like you could use some practice backing your trailer down the ramp so you can get it closer to the water to load your boat without dragging it up the concrete ramp!
I went with the Duralast from Auto zone lead acid 27-DC version, running at $119.00 I HEARD SMART BATTERY BOX CAN FIT FULL SIZE 29DC 210 MINUTE REVERSE CAPACITY OR 105amps
I just got a 100ah lithium and it’s a total game changer. They have $150 options on Amazon from various sellers that are highly rated. They’re getting extremely affordable!
@@GreysonRoberts just got a pelican American 12’ and wanted to know if a 100ah deep cycle lithium battery would power my 55lb thrust trolling motor for my son and I for the day.
I bought a 2.5 suzuki out board motor and it does real good. It does flex a little, but when i read the manual it said it is suppose to flex some, because if it didnt it would CRACK the plastic!!
Check out the new tiny boat talk blog and podcast! saltbossboating.com

Yup! At this point I’ve got it down pretty perfect. Definitely needed more practice at the time of this video recording.

noice video. how much was the trailer and or where did you buy it?
$1k new from tractor supply. They sell used way cheaper. 5x8
The link provided to purchase the boat just takes you to some youtube vids...Can we get the correct link please?😊...Thanks.
Can you add an outboard to this? What hp is recommended?
Yup 3.5. I wouldn’t go past 5 without transom reinforcement.
Are you in the melbourne area
Panama City, Florida. Pretty far!
does the motor work in fresh water?
Absolutely! Even better
oh ok thanks
If you were to get a lithium battery, which one would you recommend for this boat?

@@juliannuche2466that will be more than enough! That might last 2 or 3 full days. I’ll fish 4 hours and have over half battery. 😊
@@GreysonRoberts awesome, thanks for the input. Great channel!
Does that require boat license?
Nope. Check your state laws, though. In Florida anything under 10 horse, doesn’t require a license.
@@GreysonRoberts oh nice much appreciated for the reply, and thanks for the video
In my state I had to register the boat anything 10 ft and over. But i did not have to register the motor because it was under 10 hp.
*When you look back and that Lead acid advice didn't age well AT-ALL*
Yeah, didn’t expect lithium prices to absolutely plummet over night🤣

Is that a sd 40 in your waist band?
Close! 9mm
@GreysonRoberts I love your videos. Getting a 10ft pond prowler tommorow. Can't wait.
