  • Temple is located 65 miles north of Austin and 35 miles south of Waco, Texas. It was founded in the 1880's as a railroad town and it's population is just above 80,000 people. It's a short walk from the downtown area to the Temple Railroad and Heritage Museum, and then I found some food at Mexiko Cafe, a Mexican-Korean fusion restaurant. The downtown area of Temple was interesting with some cool looking storefronts and a few places to play music, including Corky's Wine and Beer Bar and Fire Base Brewing Company. Ultimately I made it up to the small town of Bruceville-Eddy to play at Kissing Tree Vineyards. Good times.

I live in Temple. For a town this size I wish they had a bigger selection of music venues to go to. I like classic rock music. Hopefully one day before I die someone will open a place like that. Classic Rock is still very popular and loved by many
