You shouldn't have to study so hard for your tests. If you take good notes in class, you should be able to cut your studying time in HALF! Use the notetaking strategies mentioned in this video: the hierarchy method, the bonding method, and time saving methods, to improve your note taking. The next time you go into class, put these note taking strategies to use. Good luck on your next midterm or test and I'll see you in the next video!
Just remember, your notes don't have to look pretty for them to be effective! Do whatever works for you.

Hahaha screw that guy
I'm going to take notes on this video hehe ~~
haha that's the way to go ;)
Haha , such a good idea !
Hehe
I really liked the way you made the transition to that pdf download.
The tipps were very nice, thank you.
There are also some good lesson planning strategies in this! I’ll probably share some of this with my students. I might even just directly upload it to canvas!
Haha that’s awesome man!
Yeah I followed a pretty classic structure haha
No idea why I'm even binge watching all his content when I'm graduating in a week
What's the best, most effective thing you've learned from his videos and from you own experience?
Thanks 😊🙏 saved me so much more time to spend with my family. Thanks again. Keep up the grind
My super creative brother would draw Star Wars scenes on flashcards to help him remember things. Anything from math, to chemistry, he always had some cartoons to help him remember.
This is really helpful! Thank you~
You know you got the best content related to the education and I watched a lot of RUclips video about education and self help
Dude is completely funny! He is easy to relate to. Reminds me of me over 30 yrs ago in school! 😂
I rarely comment on RUclips but yeah, agreed with this. Loved how to the point you kept things. Thumbs up
Most classes are just too boring for me, I can't even open my eyes properly, how do I bond? 😂
Just found your video, and this is great! Could you give advice for a seventh grader who needs to take handwritten notes for the first time from online reading please? He’s never taken notes at all before. (Virtual School).Thank you!
Thank you.... It will definitely help me...
I trying to learn English with your videos, you are..... My favorite ❤️😘✌️
Ha Fu, Thanks for tips, work, and for sharing your energy you good as always, stay same cool 👍
Even though I'm 8 Grade I'm still gonna use these! Nice Video Mr.Hafu!
I really liked your video. In college, I wrote down every sentence word for word from the textbook. I never finished reading the book chapter and learned anything. It makes me sad thinking about my ineffective ways of studying. I hope to keep learning and get better.
Man you just described my situation right now. I read the whole chapter take notes sentence to sentence but when it comes to the test I get low grades
@@oliviaumwali8284 yeah I want to learn new ways to study better. I am working on that right now.
I’ve never subscribed to a RUclips channel this quick
It's really late so idk if you'll answer this but I wanted to know if writing notes are the only way we can like have access to what we were taught? What if I can't write fast enough or something? Or I miss something important?
Omg 😲 thank u 4 t tips.. out of topic ur handwriting is just like mine . Even the way u point down the sentence are same as mine . Thank you 😊
Holy shit I developed this exact note-taking method in grade 11 and 12. Wish I found the video sooner.
I use the bonding method a lot😁 it's my one and only technic😌
I really like the bounding method
"I really hate studying"
☝️☝️☝️
mood rn HAHAHAHA
I love your honesty @Hafu Go, few peoplw will admit that they are lazy when it comes to taking notes.
I'd think most people will, but "laziness" isn't a real thing anyway.
Thanks I will try to take better notes in class 😊
I was the kind of student who wrote down every single word the teacher was saying hah
You actually put your twin brother on the spotlight. Hope he didn't feel too embarrassed, poor him lol
When you have children, do you plan to be a strict dad?
谢谢你的分享啊!
不用谢!谢谢你的支持😍
Wut about A.V.I.D. Cornell notes & Focus Notes with a summary and a essential Question which is more work.

I make a lot of acronyms for soo many topics under soo many subjects so I most often mess 'em up
My problem is for example in social studies the teacher gives us smth about countries and just causally changes the slide after 5 secs and then asks a student about something we took last week. And same thing for math i don't usually know how to do the equations by my self so i have to wait for the teacher to finish writing it..so any tips? Imma start school tmr on Monday so hope i don't get grades to the inner core this semester 💀✨
The bonding method is what I always use when I learn any subject that needs memorising. It never fails. While you associate it with your RUclips channel, I do with people in my life or new characters
I hate PPTs; that's 95% of the material and how it's presented, and some professors put up almost 100 slides for a single lecture if you're unlucky. They're better than reading the textbook, though... You can also use OneNote to write on the PDF (free with Microsoft Office); just print the PDF or PPT to OneNote. The downside is that you can't edit the text once you print it since it converts it into a picture; it's just for adding additional notes and keeping everything in 1 spot.
Me be watching now a day before starting new semester because i forgot how to take notes :")
Hafu: how many times did you watch a video and not remember anything they said in the video after 10 mins...
Me: umm- I forget in 2 minutes...😬😂
Nice work.😊😊😊😕😕😕😮😮😮
Thank you! Now it’s your turn to work 😉
So my problem with notes is that: while in class if i take "good notes" like actually good, i feel like the professor is moving too fast and by the time i have finished my notes for an exercise or a topic and look up at the prof/board, we have already moved on to the next thing or two things forward. In this situation when i go back home to study, its more difficult to understand the basics of the topic but easier to then understand the tricker parts. However if i don't take "good notes" when i come back home to study it's easier to understand the surface, the thin layer, the basics perfectly and when i dive to the deep, finding my self losing a lot of time to make home-notes and understanding the tricker parts! So my question is which is better take better notes in class or paying more attention in class and do note later? (i hope you understand and you can help, i appreciate your videos, you're great P.S.excuse my horrible english, i'm not a native!)
I feel you, I take notes and read textbook 📕 but still I don’t do well probably there’s something we are doing wrong 😑
So me I listen to them try to catch the keyword and fail to remember what keyword spell and then he next to other topic.
I came to this video for the benefits. I left with that AND some laughs from this guy's odd humour that matches with mine.

HAHAHAHAHA🤣
Scott H Young came up with "the bonding" method as you call it so stop being so proud and don't claim what you don't own(I really don't what to sound rude or offensive but it is the truth)
Hey! I've never heard of Scott before but I just searched him up and it seems like has a lot of knowledge on memorization! I definitely don't try to claim credit for things I didn't invent so in this case it was just my ignorance of the research out there on this topic. I was purely just speaking from my personal experience and strategies I've used in the past. Thanks for letting me know! I'll definitely have to read up on Scott Young.
@@hafu You seem like a nice guy sorry again if my comment was too much and hats off for being so open to criticism
@@houssem8597 No it's all good! No offense taken at all. I'll see you in the next video ;)
manga zuki yo relax he didn’t claim it was his
" don't claim what you don't own"
Give me the timestamp where he *claimed* that *he owns the method* and I'll give you 1 million dollar.
Ever noticed that he sounds kinda like Mark Rober? Just me? ok
