Beautiful. My father was an atheist, but when we went to see him in the hospice he was in on Christmas morning he was watching this service on his tv! My mother, brother & I had a wonderful time with him exchanging presents and sharing some of the whisky he'd received from friends. He lost his fight against cancer only a few weeks later. Christmas has and will always be my favourite time of year and Dad loved it too. I'm so glad we had one last Christmas with him, and a white one at that.

Nunca he visto un culto tan feminista... Bueno así son los tiempos ahora... Espero que nuestro Señor ordene sacerdote a la virgen Maria y las otras Marías...

Quite bizarre to have an absolution when the congregation have not got on their knees to make a confession.

@TheRenaissanceman65 There was in BCP, when doing the confession "both he and all the people kneeling humbly upon their knees, and saying,", and then at the absolution ”Then shall the Priest (or the Bishop, being present,) standing up“, but it seems no one cares it now.

@TheRenaissanceman65 Traditionally, there are many rules, especially about kneeling, they just simply ignore it and try to drop any senses of guilt in the liturgy nowadays, Kyrie or decalogue omitted, warning before the communion removed, altar rails demolished, even it would be difficult to find a place of kneeling in front of pews in some churches.

Robust singing, including men, Anglican not RC. For sure. Beautiful.
