Great video, as usual! The main point in favor of this pen is that it is mini, but when compared to full-size pens, it is not so small. So it does not have much for it.
I like to try and give pens a chance to shine. I need to spend some more time with this pen. I may do a Focus video on it once I've spent more time using it.
It is not for me, I think. It has too many issues for it to be other than a curiosity. I do not like the ball agitator. It actually takes too much room in the converter and reduces the ink capacity. I do like the shape of the pen, though. But couldn't they make the cap out of plastic and that would reduce the back weight of the pen when posting the cap? You have shown pens in this price range that perform better. Good review, Garry. Out of curiosity is 26°C a normal temperature for this time of year? It will be 32 today here but it is summer.
I recored this a few months ago during Autumn, so for the time of uear it was more or less normal. I'll try and get this pen into my EDC to really push it.
Thanks Garry, I bought 2 of these a couple of years ago. I loved the form. A great concept but terrible execution. The quality of the materials were horrible. The steel of the nibs was very low quality and wouldn’t hold its form. Tuning the nib was impossible and would be too scratchy. Once aligned, any small pressure would bend the tines out of shape. You also can’t replace them with Jinhao’s because they seem to be a no4 nib. Less than a week later, I threw them both in the garbage. Such a shame!!!!
