In this video we will show how to replace the T-Con board in the Samsung sixty inch LED TV.
For these TV models, you will want to replace your t-con board if your TV is showing the following symptoms.
The first symptom: If your TV has backlight, but has no video or picture.
The second symptom: If the video or picture on the screen fades to all black shortly after turning on the TV.
We will now show how to replace the T-Con board.
I have removed all of the screws from the back of the TV and removed the back cover. As you can see, we have three boards. Over here is the main board, here we have the power supply / LED board. Down here we have the T-Con board. We will take a closer look at the T-Con board and how to remove the board from the panel.
I will start by disconnecting the LVDS cable. Pinch in on the sides of the connector and pull back gently away from the board. Be sure to use caution as this cable is fragile. Next, I will disconnect the ribbon cables. First I will flip up this black tab using my finger and then lift out the ribbon. Never use a screwdriver or any other tool to flip up the tab or remove the ribbon. Be sure to use caution as these cables are fragile.
After I have disconnected the cables from the T-Con board, I will remove the screws that hold the board to the TV panel.
After I have removed the screws, I can simply lift the board from the panel.
I will now install my replacement board. I will begin by securing the board to the panel with the screws.
Next, I will reconnect the ribbon cables. I will make sure the black tab is still flipped up and then I will line up the ribbon cable on the connection.
Once it is in place, I will close the tab to secure the ribbon.
Next, I will reconnect the LVDS cable. I will again pinch in on the sides of the connection and then gently push it into place on the board.
After we have installed the replacement T-Con board I will then put the back cover on the TV and reinstall the screws to secure it.

I recently purchased my T-con board from you and replaced it today and the issue remains. I have sound, no picture, the back lights are on, so my first step was the T-con board. The only other thing I see is a flash of two or three vertical white lines in the center of the screen when I turn it on. I looked at all the capacitors and none of them seem to be blown or bad. Hi thank you for the videos. My tv is a samsung 46 inch LED. While watching tv either from my cable box or fire stick 2 different inputs both hdmi, the tv will flash and go to a white screen with sound. Sometimes it even goes black with no sound and the power button starts flashing. I have to unplug it just to be able to turn it back on.

Hi Jimmy. I have UN60EH6003F 60" LCD samsung TV. TV had volume but no Video, it only had a blue screen. So I changed the T-Con board. The TV started working for a day then it would show few lines across the screen and gets worse in time and in a week the TV screen went back to the same problem with no video and audio only. I purchased a t-con board from you to replace what I'm hoping is the problem with my 40" Samsung. Unfortunately, the screws securing the board were very tight and wouldn't come loose. Now, the phillip's heads are stripped. I have multiple sets of screwdrivers for this type of work, having done PC repairs for years. I've never had this kind of trouble. I've never used power screwdrivers either, always opting for the lighter touch of manual drives. I'm not sure what my options are at this point. The panel is stuck, the screws won't come loose, and the heads are now stripped. Any advice would be appreciated.

I have a Samsung ( Model Code ) LNT 4661FX/XAA or Model # LN-T4661F My screen occasionally goes dark in the middle of the screen, or to the left and sometimes when it goes dark in the middle the left side of the screen is blurry.. after a min everything clears up and the tv works fine. Is it a TC board? I've had the lcd tv for 8 + years. I just bought a UN50J6200AFXZA. and I'm not to thrilled about the black out problems I'm hearing about. Your opinion is greatly appreciated.

Luis Castellanos This sounds like a TV panel (TV Screen) problem. If your TV panel is bad, it may be more cost-effective to replace the TV as panels are typically hard to find in stock, difficult to replace, and expensive. Replace main board and power supply board on vizio e420i-bo. Fixed previous issue. But seems like ribbon cable was somehow damaged in the process. Right side of screen now displays vertical line, solid white vertical strips, or all black. If this cable is replaced will this fix the issue? Any comments or advice appreciated

Hello Shop Jimmy, I've watched pretty much all your Samsung LED videos and you guys have got me a little confused. I can't tell if I need to replace my main board or my power supply.
Afew months ago, I tried to turn my 32" Samsung LED TV on from standby and after a few seconds I just got a blinking red light and my TV wouldn't turn on. After unplugging/plugging in a few times, the problem seemed to fix itself.
This problem got worse over time, now every time I turn the power on it immediately goes to the flashing red light. I have 2 things in mind it could be.
1. Power supply is working but not well enough to power motherboard
2. Bad motherboard.
I did some troubleshooting and my back light comes on when I have the main board unplugged. There are no bulging capacitors, but I can hear a high pitch sound as well as a sound that's similar to a dental tool coming from the power supply when the red light is flashing. So it sounds like my power supply is working.
My question for you is: power supply or main board? Please help, I've subscribed, liked, the whole shabang! Just need to know what to order from you guys.

If there is a bunch of colored lines going vertically and sideways is it the t con board.
I have a UN55J6201 that has no backlight or image. I've replaced the motherboard and power supply board but still have no backlights or image. I was checking for loose connections and I touched the LVDS cable from the motherboard to the T-Con board the backlights came on, but I didn't have an image on the screen. The connections are good on the LVDS cable. The backlights only come on if I touch the cable itself. What would cause this?

I have a question! Samsung UE46F6510, has vertical lines that were within a particular section of the screen. I suspected the TCon board, ordered another one (exact model number and everything), with the new board the backlight doesn’t even go on, I checked the fuse it is fine, I connected back the old board and backlight is back on (still with vertical lines), I connected new board again, no backlight or anything (but could hear the tv is on due to pressing buttons). I unplug the main ribbon cable from the new board (the one coming from inputs board) and backlight goes on. I checked the connector pins on both boards under a microscope all seem fine, so what am I doing wrong? Why won’t the new board just work?

Hi there i have a Samsung UA55HU7200 55inch curved tv that has about a 1/3 of the left hand side of the screen is dark, it originally would light up after the tv was on for about 15 minutes but was still noticeably darker then the rest of the picture, now its very dark but still displays the picture if you use a torch or get really close to it, and is the same with any input, any thoughts to what may be wrong would be appreciated

I have a question, I bought a veon tv and the model is sro9111. The backlights and sound work but it has no picture. I am assuming it could be the t-con board. So I am going to get one and replace it myself. However, I cannot find the supplier for VEON. It remains a mystery so the only way I can get the part for it is to go through the place that I purchased my tv from. What I want to know is can any t-con board work for my tv model? Hi Shop Jimmy. I have a Samsung UN46FH6030 and the picture has gone dark. The picture is still visible and the sound is working perfectly. There isnt any type of ghosting or bright spots on the tv....its just about half brightness. Same thing on all the HDMI inputs.

how much of the number printed on the sticker has to match the replacement? i can find boards that match the number on the board itself, and the first bunch of numbers/letters on the sticker... assuming since the last bunch of digits arent' mentioned, they don't matter?

Hello I have the Samsung Model UN50H6350AFXZA Type UN50H6350 and I have no video, the back lights work and I have sound. I did loosen the ribbon cable to the T-Con and video did appear and sometimes their was multicolored lines but the video did slowly disappeared when I pushed the latch down on the ribbon cable. Want to get your opinion on replacing the T-Con or possible ribbon cable bad.
I have a Samsung Un55d6000sfxza tv. The screen turned off and does not come back on. I checked the capacitors and I wasn’t getting a reading off 3 of them. I purchased another board with same part number but it still will not turn on. Also, the standby light is blinking. Could it be the tcon board? Can you help?

i ordered a kit for a UHDTV series 6 ( un60ju6500f) I replaced all the boards and plugged them in. Turned the TV on and it powered up, got a blue screen, but that's it. hi, Help me out here... I have a RCA LED46C45RQ 46" LED LCD FULL HDTV backlight comes on with and without remote that's all it does. I physically inspected the 3 boards and re-seated connectors. I checked voltage that are printed on the Power supply and the mother board. everything points to the t-com board. Reading blogs about with same issues says its the motherboard. If I disconnect the t-com board I still have the same issue and backlight still comes on. Some blogs say that the power supply might not have a voltage issue. Thanks.

I have the UN50EH5300FXZA that I could hear sound but the picture stopped working.
