    Most of the exercise was spent with myself and the LR70 exposed to light rain. I did experiment with carrying the LR 70 in the front-left pocket of my 5.11 Stryke pants. I also placed it in the upper-right jacket pocket for about 5-10 minutes in-between a couple shots. It carried very well.

    You are the only actual reviewer of flashlights (that I know of). Everyone else seems to just regurgitate specs and promote every light as the best so they can get freebies. I appreciate the expertise, time and energy you put into these, You sir, are a professional! I wasn't aware of this light, but it fits some of my needs and I'm going to add it to my edc and camping bag.

      Thank you very much. I've been using lighting systems since the late 1970s. When you expand to gear in general, it can be really frustrating to find the right pice of kit for specific requirements. I've been doing rigorous testing for decades for my own personal use. I'm now very glad that I can help others make informed decisions to match gear with their use cases and preferences. Good luck to you!

    Always appreciate your reviews! From all the other nitrcore models to this, you are by far my favorite flash light reviewer by a huge margin!
    Hope you’ll do more as I’ll keep supporting your channel!

      Thanks! You did that just the way we practiced it! I'll make the Paypal deposit soon :). More Nitecore field tests coming - next in line is the MH25 Pro (one Turbo beam shot is in Shorts if you are interested). I'm in a bit of a situation right now with truck in the shop and a knee injury, but i'm going to find a way to keep cranking things out. Thanks again!

      Thank you. I' ve been thinking of a second field test at a campground. Don't know if it will fit into the schedule. We'll see - thanks again!

    This is a practical design for a general user. 1000 lumen is more than enough and you have the benefit of a lantern and a powerbank. It's a step up from LR60.

    Can this light be locked out for travel. Packed in luggage so if button pressed when packed away it will not come on by accident ?

      @L5-SAR  Год назад

      Good question. Quick answer is no. I did find that it takes some significant direct pressure to activate. It never came on while being in my pocket or in subsequent packing. The lantern comes on in low white. Leave the spot in the lowest output. Worst case accidental activation might have some battery drain, but won't burn anything. Thanks!

    I bought this one but couldn't enter turbo mode. I am able to switch between min/med/high but double clicking the flashlight button does not do anything. Any ideas why?

      No. Mine continues to work fine. You should contact Nitecore for a warranty claim. Thank you.

    Seems the 3000lm only last under 30 secs

      There is always going to be a step down from that output level on any light. The question is what is the actual burn down curve? Hence the field test :). Thank you.
