    I worked for Bo in 1982-84. A real human being. I recorded my first song in his barn studio with his kid’s band Offspring. We remained good friends for 25 years.

      A co worker friend of mine ran into Bo late one night in a Dunkin Donut shop .. he was sitting there alone drink a coffee ☕️ after a show in Connecticut .. my buddy got to his car .. turned around and walked in and had a nice down to earth conversation with him … he said that Bo couldn’t be more nice , polite and down to earth !

      Had the pleasure to meet Bo back in the '60s at "Gold Rush", an outdoor venue. Billed were Ike and Tina and Santana.

    Absolutely in love with Bo’s back up singer Cookie V true name Cornelia Redmond-Chavez. She sadly passed at 50 in 1999. So beautiful and sexy with the voice of an angel. You ROCKED Cookie V !

      I would mostly agree, except IMO the bassist screws up the whole groove. He has this perfect in the pocket walking bass line, than suddenly just starts slapping on one note. WTF?

      Elvis was a great cover singer for the songs the real rockers were making but were kept under wraps due to the racist industry, if black artists were allowed the same platforms,freedom to be marketed and merchandized you'd never have heard of an Elvis, Jerry Lee or Pat.,

    Bo Diddley was a beautiful human being...The type this world needs more of. I was fortunate enough to see him live twice. I caught him at the Central Washington state fair in Yakima, WA in September of 85. He graciously gave me his autograph after the show. I also saw him at the Showbox in Seattle, WA around 2004. Grunge pioneers Green River opened the show.

      Damnit Curtis I was just gonna post a comment saying the same thing. Obviously other guys see it too. I've watched a few of Bo's vids now and most often he has at least one pretty girl in his band. Or did have when he was still alive. I love this real rock and roll.

    Incredible groove, i used to bliss out with Quicksilver Messengers live version of 20 minutes ...but this is virtually just Bo keeping this going and dancing too....god bless you mr bo

      Sure was. Heard one of his albums about 55 years ago. It started me down the road as a don't- give -a-fuck dude. An attitude that has served me well till this day. I'm 72 and still don't give a shit or sweat the details. Works for me. lol
