1: So ... I *MIGHT* have a problem.... (a.k.a. rescuing a Mk3 Supra from a junkyard, and 2 more 7Ms)

- In this video, I catch you up on what I have been up to for the past week. My new project Supra arrived after struggling to find a reliable transporter, along with two more 7Ms (huge thanks to Jared Pink of @TheQuestionableGarage who gave these to me!): one complete, and one long block.
The transporter in this video is Jeff Miller of JM Transporting, LLC. You can reach him at (330) 618-6588, jm_transporting@yahoo.com, or on his social media at @jm_transporting. He truly was a lifesaver. After being let down three times in a row, I called him (once again, thanks to Jared! He gave me this recommendation!) Jeff was in New Jersey and headed straight for Florida and picked up my engines, then over to grab this car and I saw him in two days. He sent me his driving itinerary on Waze, and I got to watch him drive across the country on the shared maps so I could always know where my car was. He didn't pay me for a shout out, and I didn't ask for a discount to promote him, he was just a really good, honest, hardworking human and I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for covered transportation at a good price.
To see if there is something RAD at a Pull-A-Part near you, check here: www.pullapart.com/inventory/
This 1988 Mk3 Supra was for sale car at the Pull-A-Part in Mobile, Alabama, and this was the actual asking price. Full disclosure: Pull-A-Part comp'ed the price of this car for me in exchange for some work, and I am VERY VERY GRATEFUL FOR THEM for doing so. Had they not, I still would have bought this car and shouted them out because their yards are ABSOLUTELY FREAKING AWESOME. And I have had amazing luck there, every time that I go. This all worked out absolutely amazingly, and I couldn't be happier with my new project.
Thanks everyone who was a part of this and who uplifted my spirits this week, especially Danny and Shop Mom of Hill Country Performance & Machine! I am so blessed and so grateful!!

Look at the light in her eyes, the shining in her smile and how her voice goes up and down in excitement. That's passion guys! She's with 7M's, I'm with Swifts. But this is joy in the purest form
:))
@@FayeHadley Fun Fact... the Lexus 450h hybrid transmission can produce just over 350bhp in hybrid mode and no engine required... the standard Supra 200bhp new and a best 25% of the fuel is propulsion the rest is used for creating noise, heat, mechanical losses, pollution. ...
@@kylereese4822 but they are good sounds 😉
@@kylereese4822 yes, but look at the excitement for a 7m or gasoline engine, and how many are that excited for a hybrid….. no one
@Yeah Right Ermmmm electric cars aka NO EXSAUST.....
99% of techs who are this talented, knowledgeable, and capable are sick of spinning wrenches. Her passion is incredible. Faye is badass, not badass for "a chick". BADASS period!!
Is masterm88 on here
As a former tech you are 100% correct. It's not that we are tired of wrenching it's all the bs of working for stealerships. Any hoo, I love her excitement, this was exactly how I was when I got my dream car 3 months ago. Wrench on my friend....we will witness you in the halls of Valhalla!
She has a Psychology degree to fall back on .
Faye, don't ever change! The glow and the sparks in your eyes, I can feel your enthusiasm for this car half way across the world...
After saving that pair of 7ms from the scrapper and seeing you able to save them even more as a base for rebuilding a car you pulled from deaths jaws at the scrap yard almost makes me want to get a third a70 and keep it 7m.
Hey Jared. Hope all is well.
Found you
wow i think you commenting on her vid had it thrown onto my feed. really thankful! watch all of your vids and now have another dope person to watch. a collab would be pogchamp
I have a mint blue 8E3 mk3 for sale 👀
Jared! I tried adding you on Facebook, I wondered if you've ever messed with the OG HKS PFC Fcon and VPC, i've been trying to get some clarification on how it hooks up from some OGs. do you have any insight? I have a 7M in an MX73 at 10 PSI, stock turbo at about 270WHP.
This is the best content since you and Danny rebuilt your turbo. Enthusiasm, passion, car nerds unite.
Thank you hurtin! I have been working really hard on my youtube channel. It seems if I dont make videos constantly, then everything goes down the tubes :((
@@FayeHadley if you can do more with Danny, those are always gold. Would also love to see you do a cross promo with Sara -n- tuned.
@@FayeHadley have you heard of "project Binky" from Bad obsession motorsport? take notes... they release about 1 vid every 4 months, and the world goes crazy each time they do hahah....
you got this!
This video is just what I needed, I'm currently a Toyota Technician and my very first car was a 1987 Toyota Supra, targa top, same color. It's what inspired me to start learning about cars and eventually making it my career path. It's been sitting for the past five years and I've lost motivation to fix it but seeing this video and your enthusiasm about the build has reignited my own drive, so thank you
Faye love your reaction to this car you are like a kid in a candy store mam that was awesome how you did all this
Your enthusiasm is infectious! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
As someone who's scoured junkyards since the late 70's I love watching another addict. I bought a mitsubishi lancer from pullapart 2 years ago, put over 100,000 miles on it while working for 5 major airlines. It owes me nothing. I drag race and build engines and transmissions on the side when my main source of income is slow.
Another 80s Supra rising from the ashes ! LOVE IT !!!
I always thumbs up here.
Faye is one really smart Mechanic/Person.
I do apologize that I am a Ford/Chevy guy.
Faye, please keep Rocking It!
Well aren't you just full of surprises. I am sure that many folks are in deep envy of you right now. Good for you... and all of us.
You don’t have a problem you have a passion. I know I have 2 68 chargers and 4 motorcycles and that’s just the fun stuff ⚒️
Two 68 Chargers...wow!
I love to see woman excited about cars. Most of them unfortunately think of them and drive them as a disposable appliance. You are awesome. Great video 👍👍
True.
I missed this kind of videos so much.
Seeing and hearing your exitement, while you kind of go back to your roots and re-ignite your passion is very nice to see.
More to come! :))
This is one of those rare RUclips recommendations that I'm glad I clicked 👏🏼 I'm looking forward to watching the build
When I saw the title of this video I couldn't wait to get home and watch it. Faye got another Supra, wow and when I saw that it was targa top with a manual transmission I was amazed, then when you opened up the hood and noticed it was a 7m ge non turbo I was kinda disappointed. The good thing is that at least you have a 7m gte for it. I'm still waiting to see the other Supra project. BIG SHOUT OUT TO DANNY AND SHOP MOM for giving you the opportunity to get it done in their shop. They are awesome human beings, God bless them and you Faye. Continue your journey of success. I'm happy to see that Supra is in good hands now.
Its been a long time sense I have seen a real car girl on YT. As a veteran RUclipsr with over a decade of experience. You are a breath of fresh air and I hope you go far. Subscribed :)
That’s facts.
*since... learn some spelling & grammar skills.
It's a dude!
Love it. Subscribed

So awesome to see how happy you are. I can't wait to see it running and the smile on you..
So jealous 30 years ago when I bought my first car, the first one I looked at was a Supra. Passed on it because it was rear wheel drive living in Northern Canada. As I grew older I realized what a mistake I made passing it up. As always wonderful vids and wonderful choice of car. Hope all goes smoothly for you on a wonderful build
Bravo Faye ! Can't wait to watch this series I remember these cars when new , were expensive then , would be grand to see this one come back to life 🌟👏👏👏👏👏👏👍
This is great. I fell in love with the first one back in '82. I wanted it right away and each version more than its predecessor but the 94 Camry was as close as I got. So nice to see a kindred spirit like you work on these cars and enjoy. them!
This is going to be a really great video series to watch, Faye. I really like the fact that you find your best projects to work on in boneyards. They are always a treasure trove of parts and cars to do something with. Keep up the great work.
Thank you!!
I'm glad for you, you gonna have a lot of fun and sure that a great build; there're 3 Supras still running on my neighborhood, one silver, one red and one white, they still catch the eye.
Faye, you are the best. Love your video’s (very informing). Keep up the awesome work and Thank You!
Love the excitement and enthusiasm. It's infectious!
You don’t have a problem!!!
You like Toyotas!!!
Danny and Shop mom👏👍✌🥓
You are so talented and full of vitality. I wish I had half of your abilities.
So awesome Faye! Love seeing excited Faye tear into a Supra! Looking forward to seeing the rest of the build videos when they come!
That car is a beautiful piece of machinery. I know you are going to do something great with it.
I love your enthusiasm, Faye! As a fellow car enthusiast that gets excited about old, cheap cars that no one else cares about, I will say you definitely DON’T have a problem. 😆
Heck ya. It's awesome to see another Toyota supra enthusiasts and super excited!!!!
nice find faye! looking forward to seeing you driving this baby.
Thank you Danny! You are so awesome. Love your Tv Commercial.
Thanks Faye! Thank you for showing your hours worth of labor and searching and cutting it down to a minutes long video. Very fun! Great editing. We can't wait to see the end result.
Yaaaaaaaay! Love Danny and Shop Mom, 🥰, such an awesome build Faye, this is awesome!
Thank you! They are the best 😭💕
Your enthusiasm and cheerfulness are infectious and so wonderful to watch! Better than any antidepressant. Pharmaceutical companies need to study you. 🤡
Ha! I'd never let them profit off of good energy! They're pure evil!
So we just bought a 87 Supra Turbo. Wheels are dry rotted. Does not start. Been sitting for 6+ years. Never wrenched a car in my life and my son just started auto shop as a senior in high school. Super excited to watch more of your videos. We were already excited but your enthusiasm and excitement just sent it to the next level. We just happen to be San Antonio Area too, our engine might be visiting the shop up there :)
I love how excited you get about almost every project I've seen you do! Reminds me of the saying, "If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life!"
Great video Faye!! So good think i will watch it again. :)
When looking at an old car most people see what it is...but some of us see what it can be! Looking forward to seeing out it ends up Faye. I just finished a big vehicle project to get a 2001 Subaru Outback back on the roads, when I got it last year people said what a stupid car to get but now after all the work people are damn...this looks awesome!
Hello from the Old Pueblo, looking forward to seeing a "real world" build. These are the ones I like because it is in my realm of possibility. Keep up the great content!
So fun watching you get so excited about this build. Keep up the good work!
Very excited about this build. Can't wait to see how the car turns out.
WOW 'RESPECT'
An Appreciative

Hell yeah, love watching you do this, keep it going please 🥰
You are amazing. You are earning every good thing that comes into your life with your hard work and excellent attitude. I feel like you can literally do anything. You are an inspiration!
I love to see you so pumped up about this car! It’s great to see people find a new project and see them so psyched to get it done and running again! I’m looking forward to seeing what you have in mind in terms of the direction of the build.
Can't wait to see you cross the finish line. Thus was the first supra I road in my father had one when I was a boy!
Cool car to save. Glad you have something to keep you occupied for awhile. Hopefully you don't run in to the nightmare of the parts not coming or out of stock. Keep up the great content and thanks for sharing 👍
I'm having a hard time finding pistons right now😬 But I'm not even sure what size I need yet so I'll just wait and see what happens!!!
Faye you had me at Supra, I loved my 85 even if it was a NA automatic transmission that I drove until it rotted away from the northern Cancer. I love how you love these cars and , jarred pink is such a good old boy for getting you those spare parts. And last even though you said you are not going to get carried away with it I know because of your OCD it will be clean and 100% done right. I really hope I get to meet you one day. You are like the sister I've always wanted. Congratulations on such an epic find. As always thanks for representing that females are more than capable of turning wrenches.
Wow.
Continue, you're a genius.
Good luck
I have to follow this build. I built a 91 supra with a 1j swap. I like where this is going.
I remember the feeling and exitment of new project car! All the plans and sleepless nights😁 and the latest car you buy is always most exited😍 your enthusiasm and personality is amazing!! Cheers!
I half regret selling my 87 turbo. Built engine with forged internals, mild cams, 57 trim ct26, hard pipes, etc. I had a mint original interior with a working factory TEMS. Other than engine and performance mods, the rest of the car was original at 89,000 miles. I had rims on it but I had the original turbo rims.
Sold it in Hawaii to move to Texas. If I can find a shell, I will definitely build a mk3 again.
I don't see a problem! Rescuing vehicles is life.
Sweet project,Faye! Supra and 7M hoarder! lol Looking forward to more of this Supra.
Brings back memories of my younger days in the barn !! Rock On Faye !! Blessings !!
Beauty that owns Braun! Always good energy with intelligence with love!
love the car, love the excitement, looking forward to the build. congratulations!!!
Feel good video! So excited for you!
Awesome Job Young Lady. keep your fire for Toys burning
My workplace parking lot is massive. See so many awesome cars new and old, favorite is a 93 Geo Metro, completely rusted over, inside torn to shreds but obviously reliable! 46 mpg 🚗
Love watching 7m builds
Soooooo AWESOME!!!! Great find Chicken Lady!!!!!!🐔🐔🐔
Thanks so much!!
Nice one. You have a great balance of knowledge, ability and enthusiasm. Thanks for sharing this here and I applaud you for passing on your skills for the greater good. I’m doing a 30y refresh on a Toyota LH119 and your vids have been surprisingly useful. Looking forward to seeing the progress on this car, too. Brilliant!
It's cool to see how much confidence you have in your knowledge and abilities to just see a project and dive into it right away. I always want to start on an old squarebody project again, but everything I see always has too much for me to want to take on. And here is Faye, just sees a car on a roadtrip, buys it, and has it torn down in a few days. Great job, Looking forward to seeing it running.
Brings a smile to me every time I watch your podcast
Your enthusiasm for this build definitely shows and it's wonderful to see!
I just LOVE your excitement and enthusiasm over these machines. You remind me of ... well ... myself, not to put too fine a point on it, if I'm honest. You're absolutely stunningly beautiful too ... since I'm being honest. Keep em' coming girl! A++++
Very cool Faye. Very cool find. Keep up what you enjoy.
So great to see you so excited about the car 👍🏼
Loved seeing your excitement and passion! That was a great find!

Ive just found your channel whilst searching for VW Golf gearbox and clutch info. Its awesome! Full of humour, joy and essential detail that so many other well intentioned amateurs leave out. Good fortune to you.
Awesome video and can’t wait to see more on this build, you rock !!
Congrats on the awesome find ! We’re all just as excited as you are 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Love your videos!
I first found you related to the 4Runner... But, wow! I stepped into a goldmine!
Beautiful Supra btw.
Love your enthusiasm. Fan for life!
Fay is like me with a new build. And I am glad you are doing it with a good friend Dani it is going gto be epic. Will watch all the videos.
I like your smile when you see your new proyect! Enyoy!!
This video is so awesome. Things have been up and down with my mk3 lately. Sometimes your excitement for mk3's and your mk3 projects are one of the few things that keeps me going on my own.
I also love how much you still love the mk3 despite having an mk5!!
My gte block is also bored 20 over. The rings def weren't cheap.
Keep up the great work!
It will be great! Good luck Faye!
That's an awsome find. A great one to bring back to stock. Love your enthusiasm
Faye, you've been adopted by Danny and Shop Mom, so you're family. And there always room, and time, for family. 😉
:))
Insert dom toretto family meme here 😂
Sweet Supra glad you found one in such nice condition .
I'm so excited that you're so excited! I can't wait for more!!!
Like the “sold” sign, I have a smiley face.
🙂🙂🙂
Faye of course we remember you doing the late night wench install post skating (birthday?) in fishnets. Just a normal event. Lol You look so happy with this find. I bet your heart skipped a beat. I can’t wait to follow the story.
Haha that's right!! After skating!! Got it done 😁👍🏻
God I wish I could find a woman like that! My ex-wife didn’t get that excited about the new Lexus she would purchase every three years.
HUZZAH!! I live vicariously through you- keep up the amazing work!
You are so awesome! Can't wait to see this build. Miss you on the last two episodes of Mythbusters.
I just love the entire vibe of this video 👍
So excited for this build
Your excitement says it all. Faye you have a new subscriber, cant wait to see what you do with her
That's such a great car congratulations on ur victory!! I'm so inspired
This made me smile. So happy for your find. I miss my 6M swapped MKII. Your MKIII will turn out awesome!
Just subscribed but I have watching your vids for a while because it’s a pleasure to see a woman with such passion working on Toyotas. Thank you for sharing👍
Thank you for getting her back on the road. First car I had was a mk3 and it brings back memories.
