We use direct method language teaching in our videos. If you don't understand everything immediately, don't worry just relax. Don't think too much, just repeat the new Russian words. Watch the video a few times and it will quickly begin to make sense.
Each lesson helps you to revise the previous lesson's topic so you can consolidate what you have learned. You can look at the subtitles and the available translations of the subtitles to assist your learning. If the video has no subtitles it will have the Russian text and a translation of that text on our website. We would be grateful if you helped us to translate any subtitles into your native language. This will help you to reinforce what you are learning and others to learn your language too.

You are one of the best educators I have ever seen.
Wow, I can understand you. I spent. A month memorizing case endings, but much more effective listening to you using them in conversation. Thank you.
Please keep posting more videos. Don't stop. Thanks to your videos, and I've just watched a few of them, I am beginning to understand Russian. Woman, you are a genius!!!
You are very kind! I'm trying! I'm very lazy teacher so I figured out that it's better to make videos than to teach a student. A student can rewind a video but I have to tell the same thing over and over and over again... ;) One doesn't have to be a genius to figure it out! :D I'll try my best to keep on posting them! I'm happy that they help you!
You are the perfect language teacher ! Thank you indeed.
Privet Natasha !!! I have been a subscriber to your channel for many years. I have seen many other Russian channels, but honestly I can say that you have the best method of teaching and conveying your lessons in simplicity yet in a full immersion environment, forcing us NOT to fall asleep :) Many, many thanks for the time and quality you put in to this work.
These videos are great for a student's confidence. I can hear you clearly and comprehend everything you are saying and that helps me feel like I'm actually progressing in Russian.
Your videos are great! They are great resources for us to improve our listening comprehension of russian language.
Don't know if 'наклоняюсь' is precisely the right term, or if the prepositional or accusative is used after ' на' in that instance.
You're one of the best teachers I've seen - great stuff.

I like your channel so much !! it helps me a lot in Russian. but may I have a suggestion please ? i think the fastest way to learn Russian is to have subtitles on the video, and I can see the subtitles from your video , that's very helpful and appreciated, if it comes with English subtitles together with Russian subtitles, that will be perfect !!! is it possible to make video with 2 subtitles please ? thank you so much.
This video has a page w-t.me/Russian-DoNotFallAsleep You can see Russian and English there side by side for your convenience. There are English subtitles for the video too: you can choose to watch the video with English subs or with Russian subs, not both together so you try to remember the Russian words harder! :D
thank you so much for the info, but I still hope in the future, the English and Russian subtitle can show up together at the same time, that will be really perfect by then :)))) thanks again !! your Russian Channel is the best !!
Peter Chen Let me suggest that as you listen, you write what you hear. You can stop the video anytime and go back, but she repeats FOR YOUR EAR. Then go to the script in the link. You want to be spoonfed, so to speak, but you must train your ear. When you go to the link you can correct your writing.
Hi Patricia, thanks for your good suggestion, i will try to change the way i learn Russian, thanks a lot. by the way, do you have Skype ?
great videos! Greetings from Romania. What is the difference between этот /этом / это i don't know when to use the right one.
+Johnny B Funny you should say that! We had a visitor from Romania living with us when we recorded this video! Thank you for your greetings! Your answer is here:
Это стол. Этот стол маленький. - Nominative case, we only show and give name for the subject, the subject is the main thing in the sentences.
- Propositional case for location of the subject, shows where the subject is, the main thing in this sentence is
