This is one of the earliest movies that fostered my love of great cinema. Watched it 1st in the 60s and then 4-5 times again over the years. Cagney could really dance for a type casted gangster. 😂😂

He was an actor in vaudeville before he went to Hollywood. He danced too. He knew all the tricks from real life experience, just like Cohan did. What a life those travelling actors had. 7/11/24

This movie makes me feel very patriotic, Of course, the music is from World War II and World War I but not in the same. I sing a songs, but it brings back a lot of emotion.

It was a great Movie but it was pure 100% American Propaganda, it was released just after America entered the War, it helped make Kids think they wanted to Join in the war effort and help "Uncle Sam" and feel good about it, not knocking it, Propaganda was Hollywood's greatest achievement, the actual movies were secondary

So, the way they act in movies those days, you were to be very much afraid of the government. Not the way it should be. And that's why Old and I mean old, Donald Trump never should be president!!!!!!!
