UNBOXING WAX BUILDING KIT

I’ve been admiring lots of pieces of jewellery made with the wax building technique. I decided to delve in by purchasing a small soldering station which I intend to use instead of a wax pen. I also purchased a multi ring mandrel to use for building the wax.

Interested to see you use the soldering iron. Is the idea that you can do finer work that using the wax pen t u were using.
Does it have the touch sensitive on/off thing on the handle?
So cheap and so small!

Hi no it doesn’t have the touch sensitive on/off that’s a more expensive item. Pepe tools produce one I believe. I’m actually not sure what to expect to be honest - that’s the exciting bit 🙂.
