Blimey... that takes me back. I used to go to the market with my grandfather all the time. Such a surprise to see Leonard White on the film too! Used to help on their farm in my teenage years... happy memories.
I used to visit the market in the 70s when we visited my Gran who lived in Marnhull. I used to fish at Cutt mill just up the road too but unfortunately that is now a ruin after fire damage. In those days I was a Londoner. Never would I have thought I would be farming 45 years later
I used to live in sturminster back then We used to have A great milk factory back then to the the big chimleyThat takes me back-to my childhood felt so good seen again so sad it is gone they call it progress I call it destruction When they took away the market yard and the milk factory sad to say Star minster was no longer sturminster
