Literally tomorrow I’m getting a beardie and your vids help me feel confident about taking care of a beardie
I got my bearded dragon for my fiance. She was tiny and I was paralyzed with fear around her. Well now we are best friends! She is the 1st reptile I've ever even been around. After watching this, I think I might have lucked out. she absolutely loves taking a bath. When I start to lift her out, she will jump back in the water. She loves it. She also absolutely loves vegetables! There is really nothing that I do that makes her mad. In fact I don't think I've ever even seen her mad. She is so laid back and just goes with the flow
Mine is about 8 months and is the exact same, super chill and never showed aggression with me or ever seemed to have gotten mad at me. Loves 99% of food that he tries but one thing he does get a little squirmy in my hands if he gets uncomfortable
My lil guy is 7 months now and the breeder actually handles, bathes and feeds all kinds of veggies. So he loves baths too, he sometimes prefers to eat his salad drier than he should. Since that is only 20% of his diet at this age, it's all good. He freaked out the first 3 or so times when I took him out in the big ol world and his tiny bearded puffed out and he opened his mouth. He wasn't mad, just scared.
Blue that Lord Elion showed in the bath was born angry, bless his heart. 😂
HE DID THE ZOOM IN!!!!!! omg iv'e been waiting so long and seen many videos, but finally he did it again!
I love your content and the fact that it is LIVE! Your handling your dragons while explaining your topic! I will be getting a dragon of my own in about 6 months, and I've had 3 about 30 years ago. I've got some experience, but when I had my dragons, there was not even internet yet, so new and changing info was non-existent! Thank you and I look forward to using your information with my new dragon when I get him!
I'm getting a bearded dragon soon and I'm your biggest fan
Have not watched you in a while 😢 but im glad im here 😊.
Thanks for being funny and informative.
The switch works until your baby realizes what you're up too 😂. Another cool hack is if you want your dragon to drink water from a bowl but they refuse too (you don't have time to do a dropper or bath because it's not bath day) you can drop a super worm in the water. They'll go for the worm and get a mouth full of water.
Love these life hacks another great video p definitely be trying to bath my bearded dragon in the mornings as he hates the bath lol thanks for the tips yet again
Thank you
Put a few superworms under the salad and as they crawl around, it will make the salad move just enough to entice the dragon to eat some of it. That's what works for me.
i've been very lucky with my beardies getting baths. none of them have ever really put up a fight about it. they all know where the tub is, and if they are out wandering, they usually end up at the tub lol.
Omg you did a zoom in
Also the tong tip a a life savier!
Another cricket hack is to leave a 1/4 of a beer laying out. They’ll crawl in. They love the sugar.
My beardie "Kerwyn" will go wash my car for a super worm.
Love These 5 Hacks My Girl Cheeto laid 22 eggs on tues not fertile though ..thanks so very much yes i lose my tongs too epic Vlog Elion love your video so much P.S How Do You Get Your Bearded Dragon for fruit she loves her salad but not fruit ..
What did you do with the eggs? Fruit is not a necessity, more like a treat. You can try the same method with the bug and fruit.
My beardie landed on a fresh poop and of course it got in her spikeys. Loose crickets are cat tax in my house.
My bearded dragon is super tame but never seen her drink water. 😅
just today when we moved the box into the other section of the house where i lost my small tongs. thought the thing i lose the most is the water syringe lol
I really would like to know what all the containers behind you have in them
He has snakes and I believe he breeds bugs as well.
My berade dragon loves bath
None of those work for my beardie the only way I get him to eat any kind of vegetables is give him baby food and syringe feed it to him and he likes it he's stubborn
He will get use to that. Keep putting out a salad. Sprinkle it with Bee Pollen along with a light dusting of supplements. How old is your dragon?
I rescued mine and unfortunately he has issues grabbing the food with his tongue. He has MBD. Poor lil fella gets so exhausted just trying to chew his food. For his veggies intake, I had to blend it with calcium and syringe feed him. Hopefully that will provide enough nutrients :/
Hope he gets better :(
@@thesparkleunicorn14He has MBD. He won't get better. He can still live a great life.
I have a beardie that the breeder used red lights and his vision is super impaired. Vet said he isn't blind, but can only see shapes and shadows. I knew that when getting him. I just have to syringe feed him for the rest of his life and that is what you will have to do. My friend has a Zero that has MBD and she has to do the same for him.
Just make sure you add the supplements into the food each day. I assume you know the schedule for supplements? If not, I can tell you. That is SUPER important for all bearded dragons.
😀💙🦎
U dont need tongs i feed star from my fingers & hand she takes it off me really delicate when she does it
People use tongs because they don't want to accidentally get bitten
@@gjkdshgkjshjkgdfg yh there is that but my girl does it gentle shes awesome
You need self appreciation time. It helps with that memory
Where do you find dubi roaches ??
He can't get them in Canada, they are illegal there.
my bearded dragon i super scitish and not used to being hand heled
Then hold your dragon. They feel emotion and give emotion. The more you neglect, the longer it will continue.
my bearded dragon, since I got her has not been wanting to eat ive been having to force feed her with that repti feed and now she won’t touch crickets or larvae of any kind and vets don’t know why either…
Find a different Vet. Have they done a fecal to check for parasites? That is a reason why beardies don't eat. Mouth rot, impaction and during this time of year in the USA, it's cold in Australia where they originate from and so it's brumation season. They won't eat and want to sleep more. If that's the case, you should keep them awake and syringe feed if necessary.
Also, if that repti food is dry, pet store food..do NOT give that stuff.
My Laboo
Male bearded dragon he is mean n wants what he want when he wants it n when he don't get it being on my chest he'll Bobb his head n will turn his beard black for me too take off my glasses n I tell him no n he will get more mad but when I do he will calm down he is spoiled..lol
Never seen a bearded dragon mean and try to bite. My daughter is so sweet .
She's probably sweet because you love and cherish her. They can be defensive in the wrong hands.
Blue was angry right out of the egg
He abuses his dragons
Mine is obsessed with calcium powder. It's like crack to him. If I dust his veggies he will go eat some.
So do you use just Calcium?
@DallasStorm43 on his veggies? Yes. On his bugs he gets mostly calcium but once a week is dusted with repetitive vitamin powder with d3
@jamiesoares7108 Well that isn't correct. It should be Monday, Wednesday and Friday are Calcium days on any food. Tuesday and Thursday is Calcium with D3 and Saturday is a Multivitamin. Nothing on Sunday.
@DallasStorm43 depends on who you ask. I'm going by what our exotic vet who specializes in retiles told us to do. I have done it for over 20 years with our reptiles and will continue to do so.
@@jamiesoares7108 lol.
I notice you need to cut up ya veggies more..no food needs to be bigger than between their eyes
Easy way to get them use to bath i get in a bath with her she likes swimming in it
Wait what? You should never be in the same tub as your beardie. If that beardie poops in the water, just think of all the places that can sit or go. You can get Salmonella from just touching them or their feces. Which is why you need to wash your hands alot.
In all of your videos, based off all the stressed signs your bearded dragons exhibit, its clear that you neglect or abuse your dragons.
😂😂😂😂😂, Troll much? The only dragon he has that is angry is Blue and that was the one in the bath. He has a video of him coming g out the egg mad. Don't come here and talk crap about what you don't know.
But they have lights! Rocks! Food! SPOILMENT!! Is spoilment a word?
They are not the smartest tool in the box
The phrase is “ not the smartest tool in the shed”. You guys sound like like Biff in Back to the Future…. “ just make like a tree, and get outta here”. 😂
Actually it's "Not the sharpest tool in the shed" or "The brightest bulb in the pack"
Not the sharpest tool in the shed
It's called olldtimers not alzheimers
