I have no idea why this run still gets so many views. Sure, it was world record at the time of recording, but my run has been beaten several times since. I'm not even top 3 on the leaderboards anymore.
Considering the huge time loss in Elevator Hop, I can't say the run was good even for the time. Oddly enough, this was somehow the first sub 55 ever.

The original description is a pop-off on ThermalSquare, who got a world record of 55 flat a few days prior to this run. We have a friendly rivalry since we're on the same skill level more-or-less (at least for the time). Ever since, he beat my run several times, thanks for improving his skills and a new route.
The speech itself is a reference to DBZ Abridged (link in the original descrption).
(Note: I called him FlamingRectangle as a reference to how Vegeta addressees Goku as Kakarot)

Final hit at 54:32.27. Used auto split to start the timer, so I know my time is accurate.
If this run proves anything, it's that 53 is right around the corner. Heck, even 52 is in the realm of possibility.
