- Thought I would make a little unboxing and a how to review video on the ignition coil tester very simple to use not a sponsor whatsoever please leave a like subscribe and comment down below what you think about the video
This tool is a reliable MAGNETIC FIELD DETECTOR . It works on fuel injectors , spark plug coils , starter solenoids , and any magnet 🧲. A/C or D/C current . This looks similar to an A/C detector but it works differently . 6/20/23
Nice and I have an ac tester and you are right it’s different. Even though the coils produce like 50k volts the ac one doesn’t light up I tried it so I bought one of these just to have.
Hey what’s up , is that the same tool that is used to test a wall outlet ?
Now it's specifically for vehicles on wall outlets its a 110 volts system so u might not get a accurate ready but doesn't hurt to try
I believe the measurements of amperage is different ?
i would argue that it only shows they are doing somthing but in no way does it show there good such as drop outs or inproper spark event . how do i know ? i own a scope .

Hi sir how to now the ignition is grounded
With this work on old school cables?
Good question 🤔 I'm not really to sure but I don't see y I wouldn't work
Nope coil on plug or coil near plug only.
Will this test fuel injectors as well?
No it won’t if you wanna test an injector just check voltage as long as it’s not a direct injection injector then I believe your suppose to see 14-15 volts and your test the injector not the circuit so unplug and connect your leads
That's not very useful due to the coils must meet certain requirements in it's waveform, as peak voltage, dwell time, voltage levels etc. But it can be use like a not trustworthy but just a reference
hi my friend I'm interested on that product is it reliable until now do you still use it? thank you and God bless to you.
Yes I still use it to test coil packs on gasoline cars
IMO, nothing replaces a multimeter when it comes to testing a coil pack. No disrespect; however, that tool is crapola.
You would literally have to back probe each coil pack in order to get an accurate reading from a multimeter. This crapola literally tests a coil in a second….
Multimeter don't show you the output like a light can . Besides it's a lot faster and much easier when your alone.
That one 24.95
Harbor freight has one 4.99
Garbage Freight may have a free 900 piece tool set with the purchase while supplies last !
Your car sounds horrible
how accurate is this%?
If u know how u use it 100%
Just got one from Matco # MD765000M
