I picked up the 6” Magdraft based on your consistent recommendations and I can’t make this up… took it out same day and landed a nice largey within 5 minutes of casting!! Thank you TB for the great content and info!!!
@@tacticalbassin you caught my pole… hahaha i’ve been watching you guys for years, absolutely love what you do, this is the best video I’ve ever seen, I took my nephew fishing seven years ago at Rocky Mountain in Rome Georgia, and he accidentally threw my pole in the water in front of the church, for you to actually hook into it and real it in and get it on camera is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen, what a small world. Keep doing what you’re doing.
Swimbait legend! Thanks for all you do, Matt. Really inspiring. Literally better than anything on TV hahah. What a day!!!! Keep doing what you guys do!!!
TB got me into bigger bait fishing this year and man has it paid off in a big way. Have caught several big fish on that 8” Mag, one being a new personal best at 8lb 9oz. Give it a go and don’t stop throwing it until you catch ‘em, then you won’t want to put it down lol
Oh my, what a day! I really appreciate sharing the fishing…. But, I love that you took the time to teach afterwards. Really helps me learn fast, thanks Matt!
I never knew about bass trapping baitfish in those pockets. next day went to a good pond I know threw a small chatter bait in it and caught two 3.5lbs and a 4 back to back to back. thank you sm
I caught a 12” bass this weekend that had at least two 5-6” shad in its stomach. Also had one down it’s throat. One thing I’ve learned is don’t underestimate how big a bait a small fish will eat and don’t overestimate how small a bait a big fish will eat.
Beautiful big fish, that looked like a really fun day. I’ve been wanting to get my hands on the 5” Bacca Burrito in tactical shad. Tackle Warehouse has been out of stock what seems like forever.
Thanks for these on the water videos, I can't fish & haven't been for almost a year, now as I'm going through health issues,! Videos are as close to real action as it can get for me, God bless, tight lines!

He picked a good lake to try that big bait on, lots of good ones caught there over the years. I have caught a few good ones on the other side of that causeway over the years.
Man Matt, Bull Shoals has been just how your saying at that lake. Alot of beds that are empty or with little bucks on them. We did have alot more water though, and then the Corp of Engineers, in all their wisdom, started dumping water and the weather dropped off so it got funky in the shallows. Deeper water is producing for me with swimbaits and jerkbaits. Man we need some steady weather...Im ready for the skinny water to turn on!
Great Video Matt. I have 2- 6 inch Magdraft baits but no treble rigs! I do have the large underspin single hook rigs but want to get the treble rigs for insurance!
Thanks gentlemen!!! Loved your recap.. you nailed it!! Picked up a magdraft to get into swimbaits and caught my PB first time out. 6 lbs 13 ounces. This content gives me even more confidence.
I have a couple 6" magdraft and trying to get myself to throw them more often. I can assure you I will be throwing more big swimbaits. Thx for the vid.
Threw the Tactical Underspin 1/4oz/2.8 Keitech on a Expride B 7’2” ML casting rod/Aldebaran 50 today. Found my favorite Underspin and the perfect setup for it 💰
Thats awesome!! That combo would be a dream for the Underspin! If you get a chance we'd sure appreciate an honest, positive review of the underspin on Tackle Warehouse 👍🏼

Great fishin'!!! If you let that spinning rod dry-out, then use rubbing alcohol to clean the cork, any dirt and pond scum should come right-off the surface of the cork, and the cork will look as close to new, as possible. (The reel needs to be taken apart, dried, cleaned, re-lubricated, and then re-assembled, as you already know. [And I wouldn't doubt you need new drags, depending on what the drags are made of.] )
I caught my PB, (10.3) on a Walmart special rod that I crankbaited off the bottom. The rod was fine. Put a Mitchell 300 on it and used it for shakey heads. My cheapest rig for my biggest fish.
Crazy day of fishing this weekend, boat motor quit on us so trolling motor only. Tied up with my personal best from about 5 years ago with a fat 6lb pre spawn large mouth. Parts on order should be back in the water this weekend.

Love watching these videos, great info. I don't use many swimsuits, how are you knowing how deep you are reeling in big baits? Can you just see how deep it is and reel accordingly?
Yes, it really is that easy. This particular bait sinks pretty moderately so it's fairly easy to guage.
