English Electric loco and steam tram trailer - trackside views

  • Here we see the slightly unusual combination of the little English Electric loco and the Sydney steam tram trailer. The EE substitutes for the steam tram on days of high fire danger. Come along for some trackside views at various points along the line!
    This tramway is 1:24 scale/45mm gauge, electrified with 32v DC overhead wire

    I have made other comments but...There is something completely mad about this real world of model trains. I loved the lunch visible through the open door of the little EE loco and the giant high wattage resistor on the roof ! Watch out for the aloe vera plants ! I would love to read the technical details of this Lilliputian world.

    As i sat before, This is a german loco made by AEG in 1913

    That Locomotive is actually pretty simular to that used by SBB, Probably the SBB Ee 3/3, Or The SBB Be 6/8 "Krokodil"
