It is an awesome journey that you are on, Ferdia! Your skill at documenting your travels is simply fanastic. That 13th century monastery would have been late Byzantine, very late Byzantine as the Byzantine Empire did not see the dawn of the 14th century. I really wish I could have journeyed with you in this land. It would have helped bring the history that I studied to life. I have the next best thing in being able to journey with you, vicariously. Once again, thank you!

You've got a gift for storytelling and setting up the sense of adventure. 😁 Not to mention the cinematography! (I'm sure i've mentioned it before 😅) "Why is no one eating?" I've felt that panic before 😂 some days I've had what I called a sad meal, just whatever bag of crisps and a can of coke I can find in a vending machine, as I've missed the lunchtime rush cos of great riding 😅 That monastery! 😍 so tranquil! And a beautiful view for a makeshift campsite, strange that people would bee leaving their hive boxes there, wonder wasp that's about 🤔 (sorry 😂)
You just get better and better. This is so beautiful. I think I had a smile on my face through the whole thing just appreciating the beauty and yuur expertise. The monastery is a gem. I'm trying to imagine how many artisans and artists and workers it took--and over how many years--to create it. Thanks, once again, Ferdia. Loving TTV and looking forward to ep. 3.

Watching you manage this complex task amazes me. You are filming a journey while taking the journey one step at a time. As you battle the weather, the timing of sunset, finding food, fuel and camp sites. And oh yes, do not forget to look at the view!!!! Your are in Greece 🤯🤯 I think you are brave and resilliant. My favorite is always the winding ride by the sea with blue sky, hills and gorgeous music. Really enjoyed day one in Greece. Seeing you that happy was very nice. 🥰

Hola Ferdia! I love th÷ videos. They make me feel like I am traveling with you. The only thing that is unfortunate, is that my places on my lists continue to grow I found the monastery very interesting. I could of spent quite a bit of time there. Any graveyard s nearby? Loved the second part. Sorry that I couldn't make it at the premiere. I watched it later during dinner time back at my apartment. At least you have a clue now how I felt when I visited the "over romanticized" Ireland. 😜
