I used the Sleek and Shine when I straightened my hair but now that I'm wearing my curls all the time I'm using the Butter Cream and I like it a lot!
I didn't like the green one, it made my hair dry. I tried it 2 years ago and returned it. I have not tried the gold buttercream one, but so far kimmaytube leave in is the best leave-in I've ever tried. It gives me weightless moisture, shine, bounce, definition, hold, manageability until the next wash day. Best of all, it's not tacky or greasy at all and I don't have to use any other products in my hair; it doubles as a leave-in and styler for me. Gives me the absolute best twistouts. It's my holy grail. Really I can get away with just adding an oil or two to the kinky curly knot today. My hair hates a lot of products and gets product build up quickly from layering products because I have low porosity hair.
Is the kimmaytube the kind you make yourself? I need to try that if so. My son's hair is crazy. He has super thick hair like mine. Once a friend tried to give me row braids & my hair just ate up the product & he was like dammmnnn girl, lol. Always get your hair is so thick. Like yeah I know, lol. Poor kids is the same plus curls
I just used the butter cream and it works. My hair feels moisturized.
I Always willing to try GARNIER FRUCTIS brands but they only sell the shampoo where I live. I found the conditioners on amazon but it cost too much to send to Belgium. so I bought Nunaat deep conditioner mask. I LOVE IT ON MY HAIR. my hair feels like BUTTER and it was cheap for the amount of product that I got.

I was thinking you were going to choose the sleek n shine because it looked like the butter cream one was just sitting on your hair. I'm glad it worked well for you.
I think the main purpose for sleek and shine is for flat ironing hair. It works wonders for that. I personally wouldn't use it for regular twist outs
i feel this is different with different types of hair because the sleek and shine works good on my hair
same here but i had a coupon for 100. off if i brought two garnier products and thought i would try the butter...haven't tried yet
Now what about the butter cream vs the olive oil from the whole blends line?

This is the first time I’ve seen the butter cream version. But seeing that it has coconut I’m going to avoid it since I’m allergic to coconut oil and other products similar to it 😭😭😭 I hateeee that these companies use coconut in every damn thing!! 😭 I’d probably get away w/using it on my hair & not my scalp but I don’t want to take that chance. So I’ll continue tryin fine green bottle.
I'm not allergic but my eczema hates coconut oil so staying away from it as well!
So sorry about you being allergic. My son is as well, worse than him being allergic to peanuts.
@@holyexperience1976 yea it’s really a shame! The only way I found out I couldnt handle coconut oil on my hair was after slathering my hair & scalp in it one time, thinking it would add moisture (no thanks to the new hair guru’s - worst advice ever) and didn’t even think about if I should patch test it or not. Found out the hard way. Babassu is veryyyyy similar (almost derived) from coconut oil as well & I can’t use that either, found that out by using it on my scalp as well! And that’s why I hate a lot of hair products bc they use coconut oil in almost everything! It’s not even the best moisturizer for hair or skin like that anyway! But I digress. 😅
Girl same. But it could just be the oiliness that's messing with you. You could try a leave in conditioner like the one she's using with coconut oil but keep it off ur face and only use what you need. That's what helps me. I really like the brown coco butter one in the dark color bottle.
I bought the butter cream when I was was broke (it was cheap)but was surprised how well it worked. Now I need more and no one seems to have it so I had to buy the green one, hopefully it works as well.
I use the Sleek and Shine because I don't like frizz in my hair unless I'm wearing an afro

Do they still have the buttercream? I didn't see it. I got the sleek & shine for my son cause his hair gets crazy & he hates getting it brushed. It is thick & curly & eats up conditioner, lol.
Ik im late but I was wondering the same. I never heard of the butter cream one. The other one is really good though I use it every day in my hair too bc it absorbes every bit of moisture it touches.. The coconut/coco butter one is also really good it comes in a brown bottle.
Wtf... I just looked it up and its saying its over $100😳 something ain't right on the website but it says butter cream and it matches the one shes holding..

I’ve tried both of those products and like the curl buttercream better.
That slick and shine Brazilian rinse out conditioner is the only thing that I have noticed make my hair soft... that's why I'm researching some other products I just bought the buttercream and we'll see how that goes

The green bottle only works for like puffy and all ready kinda straight hair like mine cuz it works but again every one has different hair
I think this review would have been better if you gave us your opinion after you finished the style and allowed the products to dry down. I’ve used both and found that the butter cream when mixed with other products, leaves behind flakes and residue.

I have both bottles but i use the green bottle but for some reason it leaves my hair hard why is that?
I'm not sure..I don't think it has much protein..unless your protein sensitive.

I hate garnier I used this product (the green bottle) and it dried my hair out and yesterday I ran out of my usual shampoo and used garnier fructis damage control and woke up to destroyed hair this morning I think I'm gonna have to cut like two inches of split ends
oh my gosh im glad im not the only one who had such a bad experience! my friend with bleached hair like mine recommended the green product there, i got it and it left my hair feeling so funky and frizzy it was weird. i use this castor oil leave in conditioner and other days i use this as i am leave in conditioner for curls and they are more expensive but they work like gold and make my hair feel so soft and smooth, plus a little goes a long way
