You're absolutely right, that was an oversight on my part. I said it in a previous video before the feature was released but I definitely needed to add that in here. Thanks for your feedback and support of the channel! Means a lot!
I was excited for this feature only to find out it's only available in the highest tier option (unless that has changed). For the money, I bought an ATEM Mini Pro instead since there was only about $30 difference.
As good as the feature is you're going to get far more functionality out of the ATEM Mini so that's probably not a bad move. I am on the highest Tier but that is because I do client shows to multiple destinations and we need them at 1080p.
@@kirkrnugent I suspected as much. I'd been wanting the ATEM Mini Pro for a while anyway. I appreciate what you do on your channel, I've learned quite a bit.

What a pity that there is no "switch" feature allowing the user to toggle between cameras, which is all the trend right now in podcasting. Wait! I spoke too soon, you just demonstrated that you can switch between two cameras on the solo camera layout! Great presentation!
Hi Kirk, I run a live show from my model railway which I like to cover from different perspectives. I run through my Apple laptop and gave two webcams plugged into my laptop. I also use the laptop view for the chat line plus to get a personal view. In addition I invite my cellphone as an add on camera. Up to this point I open an additional session to allow me to have more than one camera but think this video might help. The other problem is my audio which might be a result of having a complicated set up. Any ideas? Thanks Charlie

If you need more (sounds like you do) then yes bring it in as a guest but be sure to mute the mic and turn the volume all the way down if its a mobile device. Hope that helps. Great video, very informative. I have a question, when recording only, does streamyard give a recorded file for each camera and a master file including the switches between cameras? Or just a master file?
So sorry I missed this comment. You get all of the above with StreamYard Recording - both individual cameras and the master file with switches and graphics. Individual camera recording are clean - no overlays included.
Hey Kirk, great video! Absolutely! In fact this is how my wife and I will do shows where her mic is plugged into the second port of the roadcaster pro My mic is plugged into the first port but we have those two cameras that are positioned to focus on each of us individually. So this is a great use of this feature.
Hi Seth sorry for the delay in responding, sometimes the Comment notifications don't come through. MEVO put out an update making it possible to use their cameras as a Webcam. Not all models received the update so check their site to see if the one you have got the update and if so you can just plug it in using USB and select it in StreamYard as your camera.
I’ve been trying to use to canon DLSR cameras but streamyard only detects one at a time. The only option I have is one Canon DSLR camera and my webcam. I see you have multiple dslr cameras in your drop down. How can I do the same?
Unfortunately Canon makes it very difficult with their older cameras to use them as a webcam for streaming with StreamYard. A lot of times it requires 3rd party software. In this video I had one canon and one Sony and the Sony is much easier to work with. I was only able to do one canon at a time like you. I’ve actually moved away from canon all together. Sorry I couldn’t be of more help.
Thanks for the comment and support of the channel. At the time I recorded this video the answer to your question is no BUT I'm happy to share at present the answer is yes.
