Couldn't agree more... I'll need to redo this video with current comparison details. Evmux and StreamYard have added new features but as you mentioned that price hike is crazy. However I do have a few videos for those looking to move away which i've included links to below: 4 Alternatives to StreamYard - ruclips.net/video/k_dsVF1YhqU/видео.html StreamYard to Ecamm - ruclips.net/video/y2vELb1MJ3s/видео.html Thanks for the comment and support of the channel
What about music audio quality? StreamYard has been advancing by adding certain features like stereo options but the overall audio quality is still substandard, even to things like Zoom, and certainly OBS. Is Restream better with music?
Great question! I've found all the web based platforms: Restream Evmux and StreamYard all are about the same with audio quality. You MUST turn off audio processing and enable stereo mode to get the best quality. I've done church productions with them and the audio was Great. Installed streaming platforms like OBS and Ecamm are just superior with audio because you have more granular control when it's not on the web.
Question regarding EVMUX..I was doing a livestream this morning where I had music playing in the intro “stream starting soon” scene but the viewers didn’t hear any music. What would cause this problem? I also heard the music just fine in my headphones. This isn’t the first time this has happened. It’s weird because I didn’t always have this issue. I used to go on my phone and go to my channel to make sure I could hear the music during my livestream and it would be fine but now sometimes I can hear it as a viewer but sometimes I can’t
Thanks so much for your comment and question. It is weird and it's also hard to try to provide an answer without seeing what's happening. If you're available I'll be sure to touch on this question during my live show on Wednesday at Noon CST. If you can make it great but if not be sure to catch the replay - I'll walk through the setup process and see
