- New Goals for 2020: Time to move to a bigger Shop!! Before that, lets give a quick Shop Tour of my Small Home Machine Shop where I did my RUclips project for the past 2 years.
Hey Bart! Happy New Year to you. It's amazing what you've achieved in such a confined space. I've watched many of your vids and I'm looking forward to seeing your new projects during this year. Hope the relocation to your new workshop goes well. Greetings from Southport UK.
Thanks Kevin. Happy new year!
Thanks for the tour Bart. Looking forward to your new shop and more videos. Happy New Year!
Thanks Bret, Happy New Year!
Love your work and the shop. I too have the same problem. My wife says it's too many tools. I say it's too small a workshop!
Great tools Bart. I hope you get the space you need. I like your channel and look forward to seeing your projects.
Thanks. My new Shop will be around 3 times bigger so i think it's enough for the next two years ;-)
You are a busy guy. I do enjoy all the videos.
Thanks
Got a bit jealous for all the cool machinery you have there! Machine shop can never be too big, i guess. Love the belt grinder and bender! Those custom DIY projects are really inspiring! Greetings from a knifemaker in Lettland!
Bart, looking forward to shop tour in the new shop. All the best for 2020
Thanks 👍
Hi from Canada - love your work and all the best with the move. A bit more space would be nice.
Thanks!
Also form Canada. Solid goals you have. Guess there will be some new ones now that it is a year later. I just expanded my shop last month so will be starting the new year with needed space.
Yes, you deserve more space.
I look forward to all your new videos in 2020.
Hi Bart. Your metal workshop looks like my wood machining workshop lol. Hope everything goes alright with the move. It will be nice to see all of your quality machines with their own space. It will save you time making your future projects not having to re arrange your tools etc. Tony
Thanks, yes these machines need some more space. And future work will be much more efficient
Good luck with your move too your new workshop, hope too see your plan off your workshop set up. You need more room for your equipment 👍👍👍
Thanks, I will make a video about my new shop setup.
Thanks for the tour Bart. You have a nice bunch of tools.
Thank you
Congratulations, can’t wait to see the new shop!
Thank!
Awesome Bart! You've got some impressive machinery.
Thanks. I doesn't look much right now but I know where i'm going. Give me two years and I'll build my dream shop with all restored quality machines.
Hi Bart, Happy New Year to you and yours. Not much room in there to swing a mitre gauge!!! So you're not the best welder/fabricator??? Well, you had me fooled!!! But you ARE a black belt welder/fabricator, which is just the same i reckon. Looking forward to seeing your new workshop developing and i hope you keep a spot for the KTM in there. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and keep up the good work. 👍🖖🏍😎
Thanks Pedro! Happy New Year to you too. 'Not the best' --> maybe second best ;-). You know there are different degrees in Black belt and i'm 'only' 3 Dan... :-) My humble and perfectionist mind here... Always something to improve. There are always people that can do better. But there are not much that can do al these kinds of metal work. Not the best but very good, and have a creative mind and the partience to make quality stuff.
Was trying to get ideas about shop layouts! Gonna look for a shop tour of your new shop. Best to you, sir.
Yes, have a look at a my last few shop update video's
Hey man. Im a teacher before too and my shop is 4x6m lol.
Very nice those machines btw.
Haha, that's great 👌. And you still had room for a surface grinder 😆👍. What did you teach? And where are you from?
Barts Metalwork I taught drawing and graphic design. The whole world of diference with metal working, just like you. Haha
@ Nice! Just watched your shop tour. Nice little shop and good talk. I think we have a lot in common (tall, blond, ect... LOL ;-). --> Don't try to do it, just do it! Because we need to. So keep going and be the best you can.
Good goals, man. Being from Southern California, I couldn’t work in the cold. 🥶 👍
Haha, yes thats why I wear 5 layers of cloth... ;-)
Im from Holland to and when Its cold in my shop i turn the heater to 50 (Fahrenheit)😂
Succes in je nieuwe werkplaats Bart!
Dank je 👍
Looks great Bart! Keep us updated!!
Thanks, I will 👍
Hello, I've recently subscribed to your channel and watched a few of your videos. I like the things you make. I hope the move goes well and I look forward to watching your next video. 👍😎
Thanks Charles, new video will be less talk and more machining ;-)
Bart, good luck on the move.
Thank you
The future looks bright !
Thanks
Happy new year Bart :-) do you got the new space rented, or are you still looking, for the right one? you got a lot of great machines, hope you get the space and the time to use them, and to show us :-) always looking forward to one of your videos.
Thank you Hendrik, and Happy New Year to. I already got the new Shop close to my home. It's three times bigger so enough space for the next two years ;-)
@@bartharkemametalworks2299. Hey that is great :-) do we get a tour?
@@henrikhv5084 Of course, I plan to move in the next two weeks and keep you updated.
Yes, I agree with Silver. you have really nice machines but it seems your shop is too small and it may be a safety hazard. Do you plan to enlarge the shop?
Thats why im moving to a bigger shop ;-)
@@bartharkemametalworks2299 my bad.... I skipped your comment about you doing just that. All the best to you on the big move!
++++ Compact workshop of the wizard for metal.
Indeed, you need a bigger workshop.
E eu aqui achando que só eu trabalho em espaço apertado
Muito bom oficina muito bem montada
I didnt see the Hommell Mill anywhere? Did you get rid of it?
No, the Hommel and Schaublin 102 Lathe are in my Parents Shop. I will move the Lathe to the new shop and the Hommel will stay there.
How do you change automatic feed speeds on the Schaublin? 🤣️
Haha, I can't 😆👍 (move the Clarkson and crawl)

Looks like a storage facility not a shop.
There's no place for an iron here ...
Judo?
In this picture yes, but I also teach Karatedo, Taekwondo and Kendo (just the basics).
