    I usually go between them pretty often when Im modeling. That way I dont mess up the mesh while knowing what it will look like later.

      I did a scarf that had lots of tight folds. I needed it to be between the smooth preview and non smoothed for our game. I still wanted the control that the low res mesh gave me. However when applying the subdiv there would be clipping unless I added even more resolution.
      Just a specific scenario where I had to use both. But its true that the end result is what matters and subdivided mesh is closer to that.

      @@Xirpzy Yep, that is a good example where you probably wanna have subdivision on when creating more accurate forms

      Hey thanks for sharing! Yeah I mean if you check my channel there is already a lot of videos covering this topic, along with practical workflows. There will be more for sure :)
      Outside of that, if you wish you can always check the guided training program on the website directly we we dive deeper in each of the topics you mentioned.
