Love the sound of the engine. I always enjoy some variety when it comes to engine noises. The "we swear they're not dive planes" side mirrors are really cool as well. Hopefully it will give the other Rally2 cars a run for their money.
I’ll give it a thumbs up. I like how the stock trunk door is still noticeable with all the body work done, don’t like how rally cars look like hatchback minivans nowadays
Yup, it's the same 3cyl turbo found inside its road counterpart. Toyota already homologated the engine for Rally2 use after all and it's also been used by its AP4 cousin down under.
I reckon this is going to be a pretty fast competitor.. I've seen a couple of others here in South Africa and they are *wild*. 1.6 3cylinder turbo that can push torque and Kw on the wheels in large amounts... and so lightweight. I'd crap myself😂
Is it just me or does anyone else think that the car looks like it’s struggling for power? I realize it’s just testing and it could also be because of the camera, but from seeing cars like the Fabia or i20 this Yaris looks like another Fiesta. No hate to the Ford but it’s really lackluster in terms of performance compared to the Skoda. The fiesta rally 2 is still one of my favorites though

Rally1 should be Rally2/R5 based. More manufacturers and cars/seats and cheaper

The term R5 hasn't existed for a few years. Rally 5 is now the lowest level on the rallying pyramid.

Solo hay que mirar el hito kilométrico en lateral de carretera, es la BV-4341, en inicio zona Prats de Lluçanes en final zona Sant Agustí de Lluçanes.
