Glad to see a few of us still working on things…. Few years ago I did a loop myself between two of the motors worked out pretty well sounded different running when it was locked not sure how to explain it but the battery ran for over 10 1/2 hours and would normally run out within an hour or so running a lightbulb to incandescent hundred watts… Gerard Morin style… it works pretty well… note there are two types of windings motors one is one like a motor and one is one more like a generator both three phase…. I have both styles one running against the other one way works better than the opposite.. ✌️
You are right. Motor winding is different than generator winding. There are PLENTY videos on the different windings. lol. Thanks for watching and the encouragement. :)

@@energydreamer5347 I had it custom made. There are lots of videos how to do it yourself. But I am not that good with welding and fitting. It has to be very precise since the distance between the coils and magnets must be like 1mm! Hope you come right and get to swing it. :)
I am still looking for ways and means to have the direct drive motor running what size of controller and if like some guys do on videos the use only one chip IRF 3205 but when I try it keeps browning up the transistor. I am stuck and in the jungles of Rwanda where components not easy to get. Any idea or directions?

After looking I saw that it works like most other commutator. Is there something special about it? Otherwise get ebike brushless controller from china. You also get VSD's that you can set in many different ways. If you do get a cheap good method, please share. Ciao. ;)
What would happen if you tie the motors directly back to back? Would you save on all that mechanical and losses from the belt? Question, at what point do you tap for the back EMF ?
So yes. Direct drive will take care of any mechanical loss, and you will see even better results. But I did this because I needed more speed on my tests. So I gear with belt. Just for tests. BEMF is tapped across any coil, or multiple coils. Put your multi meter on AC and your probes across coils, and see the magic. ;) Thanks for watching and commenting.

Are those Bifilar coils acting as an Inductor?
