  • What to expect when hiking Angels
    Landing at Zion National Park.
Angels Landing is no doubt the most popular hike at Zion National Park. It’s the best hike in my opinion as well.
There is a lottery system that you must use in order to obatin a permit for the hike.
I'd recommend going for the before know
9AM slot to beat the crowds.
It starts out with the hike to Scouts Look out which you dont need a permit for.
Also, after the hike, im not sure i would recommend this anyone who might be seriously out of shape or someone who has had vertigo in the past. The drop offs get pretty steep at times! But hey, if you're looking for an awesome hike to bring a story home then who am I to say not to.. Go send it!

@@MackOnTheRoad no - no snow. Little chilly but we were happy campers! It was much warmer compared to other parts of Utah i.e. Draper, Salt Lake City & even Moab area (we also checked out Arches, Canyonlands and Capitol Reef before) - check out my recent video on Utah’s 5 National Parks video 🔥✨

@ that sounds like a sick trip!!! Especially in the off season I bet you had the Parks to your self. I’ll check out the video!

In 2012 I paid around $35 for overnight camping and I biked and hiked all over that day. The water canyons and I even went to the chains at Angels Landing, nobody was there.

America 1000 years ago would have been a paradise.

It’s still a paradise! You’d be shocked how much protected and preserved land is out here still
