It's the adventure that counts! If you look at it from a monetary standpoint, it would only anger a person finding $1.13 after all that work! Same with your creek walks, swishing, etc, it's the adventure that counts! Great video, thanks for taking me along!!!
Well when you figure out your profit and loss statement, I think you will be in the red. Thanks for keeping us on the edge of our seats, great adventure.👍
Not everyone gets to scratch off the Bucket List "whilst treasure-hunting, I found, recovered and opened a stolen safe containing cash. And had fun. And entertained a bunch of cool people."
Your adventure has all the key elements of another installment in the Oceans 11 franchise: dashing & clever heist guys, beautiful women, exotic locations, seemingly inaccessible treasure, & tightly-woven drama interspersed with cheeky banter. Coming soon to a theater near you!
oh man-> that was a ton of fun and truly amazing you finding a safe in the middle of a river.. can't help but wonder how it got out there.. can you make out any dates on the coins? i LOVE this channel so much!!!
It's not always about the treasures found. But the journey getting there with hope's and tid bits of excitement. The fun with others during the exploration. The laughs and stories told. No amount of treasure is worth that. Good times with friend and family. That's the true treasure in life and the only thing you can take with you. 😇

one cutting wheel $ 4 ,water to clean the safe up 1 to 2 dollars gas to go to from. for less than 1 dollar, you might make up the loss scrape the safe or save it for the steel for around the farm
I was lucky enough to get a safe (not stolen) from a State property sale for $ 2.00 ! No one bid because it was 6 feet tall and took up most of a pallet ! It must have weighed 700 lbs.!! At home since I had proper papers I had a local locksmith for $60.00 , crack her open ! It was just like in the movies , he had templates that fit every kind of dial manufactured , laid it behind the dial , met a certain depth and the dial was off .... Another template , Cobalt drill in so far ...and then he had a hand mirror/scope and you could see the tumblers lining up and it was open ! He lifted the door off to go re number the combo at his truck and we emptied it ! Mostly files and old style computer tapes and 5 envelopes taped to the wall , each containing over $300. ! One had $693. !! Each envelope was for a different departments lottery club winnings and ticket purchasing money . Each had a tabulation of amounts ?! How this safe Sat around for over 25 years and then sold as scrap is beyond reality . My Uncle who worked and retired from the State , said that whoever's Department kept the safe probably went thru a number of management changes and the combination was lost to time . My $62.00 investment netted me $1672.00 ! And a newly recomboed safe ! I have purchased other palleted and plastic wrapped safes since that just held air !! Don't buy big safes for scrap unless they are old .... All safes in the last 50 years are mostly concrete for fire ratings and not alot of steel for your effort .
A few yrs ago I was at a marina looking under the main docks. We were in a drought. I found a check book type wallet in very shallow water. I opened it up and it had 8, $100 bills inside, a bank drive through withdrawal receipt, and personal information. The bills were beautiful in the water but when I took it out of the water the bills started turning a dark Grey and falling apart. It had been 24 yrs since the wallet was lost.
A few days ago I went to the junkyard, and got two 2000s Nissan A pillar interior grab handles-and $4.90 in change a few cheap tools, and that was it. Most cool cars were gone, save a '56 Bel Air sedan with shot original two tones of green paint. Oh well, $1,20 of that was Cents. A brush fire in the back of the valley wiped a lot out, a c1970 Rolls-Royce sedan, a 1935 Ford truck and a 1941 Buick sedanette.
If you can take the screws out of the back combination. It is very easy to open the front door from there. The safe is in the scrapyard by now. I wonder if the scrap yard paid anything for the steel?
Fill it with water and bolt a an explosive over the hole. Make sure the resistance, casing exceeds the resistance and sheer point of the walls and hinges. Everything inside will be compressed and the explosions fire won't burn the things.
Use a cutting torch or a plasma cutter! I love to see what's inside of it and what they find in bank vaults and security boxes.you'd think that bank employees would check that stuff before they close down the bank of course! Unbelievable it is! Don't keep us in suspense now!
Well, you found more than when Geraldo Rivera opened up Al Capone’s safe. 🤑
😂😂😂😂😂😂👍
ZING
😆
Well put .
That was great! I’ve spent 10 years watching oak island and you hauled in way more in 2 mins! So much fun!
lol
Lol, my Mothers spent those years too. ~ Texas
I'm getting to where I really hate the Oak Island question guy. "Could a nail found in bore hole 63 have Templar connection, on Oak Island?"
😭😭😭
Lmfao 🤣
You worked hard for that. Thanks for the entertainment. You will get more scrapping it.
you did better than the curse of Oak Island, they spent millions more than they have found, you are the real deal

Holy smokes, it's been well worth it!😆
No million dollar treasure but that was a good Adventure
That was excruciating! Forever with the water hose
ikr!!
Well what an adventure! 😀 Crawfish was humungo....I think he's the culprit who removed all the cash and spent it on a gym membership 😆
You should go back to the creek and metal detect there and see if coins had spilled out!!
I'm totally excited
Great bit of adventure. I'm surprised there was any loot in there. Happy hunting and be well
Not everyone gets to scratch off the Bucket List "whilst treasure-hunting, I found, recovered and opened a stolen safe containing cash. And had fun. And entertained a bunch of cool people."
good point, thank you!
The West is in a mega drought. It sure would be nice if that water you wasted could come to us. 😥
You found treasure. Now you can quit your day job and swish in creek from here on out. For real i wish i was there. So thanks for sharing.

Old dates may have more value than face value. Or, if a mint error was put in the safe.

Glad you enjoy it!
I’ve been waiting on this moment haha!! Nice work getting it out and opened

As they say, the anticipation is half the fun!

Any amount of money is still money and eventually if you save enough scrap metal you'll get some return on the time.

Made Geraldo opening Al Capone's vault look even worse! 😂
The money tray was the treasure for me. How kool!!
Well you got scrap metal and a soda pop money. But you saved two crawdads.
To those crawdads, this man is a Superhero.

As locksmith, safe guy alway funny to see videos

Hell ya! Ain't watched yet but can't wait!

😏
That was pretty cool 👋👍
Fun little video to watch, is a library a nickel? Or something else?
Didn't quite find enough to cover the water bill!
This the largest safe I have seen on these types of videos
A penny is a penny - I pick every one up I find
It washed out of that gaping hole most of it probably did! Oh no! Such unfortunate luck!
If you take the safe to the scrap yard, you could probably double your money! 🤗 ✌🏼❤️
Fill it with water and bolt a an explosive over the hole. Make sure the resistance, casing exceeds the resistance and sheer point of the walls and hinges.
Everything inside will be compressed and the explosions fire won't burn the things.
Lol I loved it!

Hey, money is money. Some day those will be rare coins so be sure to keep them somewhere safe. Or spend them on Old Blue. A very deserving vehicle.
Auction the coins and raise money for a good cause. Liquor fund, or sump'n.
Another Geraldo moment in history.
Check the year on the coins its in the safe for a reason could be worth something
I wouldn't have shown all the riches you found either. Nobody wants to get put in a higher tax bracket.
I wonder how much the other guys got out of it.
At least it wasn't empty !!
The IRS would like to speak with you about your unreported wages.lol
And you get the scrap metal !
The joys and disappointments of treasure hunting.
You spent more on gas .LOL
Nice haul 50 cents.
I think y'all found more than Geraldo did in Capones vault 🤑
Bad luck 😊 another time ❤
You can almost buy a double cheeseburger from McDonald’s…😂🤣
Cool....they found about $1 in loose change.
good effort
Thats a bummer man....
Yall better be careful flashing all that money around publicly 😬
I don't care if you found money or not, a mystery is always exciting!
More than you had!
Das hat sich aber gelohnt
Now we all know how geraldo felt LOL
I kept thinking they’re gonna find a body
Did I see I missile at the beginning 🤣
ummm
Big money
Your water bill is gonna be higher than the amount of money you found
