Hey buddy, thanks for the shoutout! I really appreciate the mention. Haven't been too busy on RUclips, but now that the new studio is up and running I'll be able to stream more often. Cheers!
Machine doubling they stopped hand punching mintmarks after 1989. Awesome vid ty4 the list of key dates & major varieties now i can go back thru nickels to see if i have any of them! Have a fantastic day sir
Not a RPM although at first I thought it was. Love searching nickels. Nice shout outs. I was on Paulie Nickels site for a while last night. He's so much fun to be around. Love your channel and everything you bring to us. All the Best ~ Shirl
I agree with William Baker. RPM is not possible after 1989. (Thanks Dustin, I wouldn't have known that without your vids) and yes, I believe it is machine doubling.
There were no longer any repunched mint marks possible by 1999 due to changes in the production of dies. They have mint marks already and are no longer punched on to the final die.
So in searching my lincoln pennies I found one that is super messed up. On one side the date says 1980 D and on the other there are 3 more dates and one I can make out is 1970 backwards. The front and back is struck a few times each and I do think I saw a nickel strike on the reverse. Your thoughts?
It can't be a repunched mint mark I'm not sure if I'm right or not but they stopped hand punched in 1989 but it looks like it's shelf like so it's machine doubling hope I'm right !!!
Yes! Clearly it was machine punched twice. Hey, I have a 75 Lincoln that seems to have a D/S. I know no one has discover one yet but I truly believe it is legit. Can I get a second opinion from you?

Love it ♡ and no it's not a RPM. But who on here thinks it is? Let's start a debate!! 😉😉😁😁
RPM is not possible after an earlier year.(1989) So, RPM's were not possible after 1989 due to the way the dies were made. This is machine doubling.
Yes it is a RPM. REASON IS BECAUSE OF THE EXISTENCE OF THE INITIAL "P" under the primary "P" mintmark.
I think it is. I recently found one. Is also has strong doubling everywhere on both the obverse and the reverse obverse.
Some super cool info! Thanks for sharing coin opp!
Looks like a strike double. RPM's stopped some years prior.
Like my nickels,Found a 55d over s in my pocket change high AU. Great video.
awesome!!!
Not RPM. Mintmark was included with die in 1989.
Great info!
But I guarantee you'll never find a Nefferson Jickel!!
I'm one of them collecting...great video thank you
Nickels are fun to CRH with. maybe its the rush you get when finding v nickel, or war nickles
Thinks it is machine doubling. They stopped hand stamping the mint marks in the late eighties.
Thanks again for a awesome Video 👍🏻 Machine doubling 👍🏻 the way the coins are struck now double mint marks are not possible 😊
It's not a repunched mint mark! The mint started adding mint marks to the master die after 1989! That's my final answer! Is that right?
Very informative video. Thank you for sharing Coin Opp
It is not a RPM since the mint mark is part of the die.
I have a 2004 p Jefferson nickel Louisiana purchase with doubling on the top thumb of the handshake
Could this be valuable?
Coin opp not forget 1982 p ddr on monticcello and five cent
there are many i did not add to this video!
No RPM after 1989 due to the way the dies were made.
So that means no, it is not a re punched mint mark.
It can't be a repunched mint mark I'm not sure if I'm right or not but they stopped hand punched in 1989 but it looks like it's shelf like so it's machine doubling hope I'm right !!!
Not , about 10 years too late since hand punching mint marks ended.
NOT A RPM!!!!! RPMs stopped in 1989 when the mintmark was put on the master die instead of the working die. so this is probably just strike doubling.
No sir, it's after 1989. It shouldn't be hand punched anymore
Thx again for all your info
Great video ! Thanks much for the info !
Did I see Danny (Daniel) on one of your last videos?
probably. mean daniel malone?
Coin Opp Yes ,I found him just after he started his channel

I don't think it is an rpm. It it too new for that, mint marks were not hand punched in 1999.
Looks like a double punch to me.
