Hi John and thanks for all! Your way of Being enables us to enter easily on the different stands, and see the products with your eyes, mind ans soul. So a Great Thank to you. Have good rides and see you with Pleasure. Forza. 😉👍👌
+Tremendous smile! Have I stumbled upon another entire area of life on this Earth that I know nothing about? Wonderful! I will dive right in and reap all this joy. Thank you.
This year I also actually made it to the Spezi. For the first, but certainly not the last time. It is a great event, not only because of the almost perfect products you have presented very good in your two vids, but also because of the crazy (in a good way of course) inventors, who display their creations. Sometimes they don't even expect to be taken seriously (like the guy, who built a recumbent from a Puky kids bike). It is all about having fun with human powered machines and meeting nice people, and I think you managed to bring this across. Maybe we meet at the next Spezi in Germersheim... hopefully without rain.
Great video thank you. I must go to Spezi some year. I love that there are practical HPVs as well as performance ones. Electric assist seems to be increasing in popularity as well.
Thanks for the video. Love the engineering on these things but still a bit confused about the advantages of a recumbent compared with a 2 wheeler. Are they quicker?
I wonder if they’ll make a velomobile model using Fat Tires? That would be great for not only deep snow and other rough weather road conditions, but Laos great for some off-road action as well. A Velomobile that can be an ATTV and can really be all weather as well. Hey there is that Allweder A6 and Ecco Rider Challenger I was talking about as well!! I guess it’s too late to ask for a review huh, oh well?
WOW, thanks for featuring TReGo, John (16:33min). Much appreciated. Next time we will have you test the TReGo Trolley so you get a complete carving bike feel. See you next year!!!
Thanks for your videos! I'd be curious about what lens you use? Personally I think it's sometimes a bit too much "in your face" and something like a 20mm FF equivalent would be better for close up vlogging or interviews.
John, you may know why, but would it be possible to do a piece about the Oceancycles Challenger? I just learned about this velo today and would appreciate learning more about them. Since they seem to be built in the UK, perhaps you can gain access to one through the company or an eval commentary from an existing owner? Thanks for your time!
Absolutely enjoyed this video, i discovered the word recumbent trikes just yesterday and i am glad i found your channel. I have a question, i know some trikes motor assist with them but is it possible to just go on electric alone, without pedaling whenever you get tired? An idea excites me where the motor assist is powered by a solar panel on top. So if you choose not to pedal and still manage to charge the battery by solar you have yourself a vehicle that can go anywhere there is sunlight. I would love it if any of the manufacturers here would offer a fully fledged professional recumbent trike with a solar panel as one neat polished product. Like the mobike but one seater and open from the front and the back to reduce weight.
My friend had an E assist motor on his sunrider, I did a 4 sale vlog about it, that one had a motor where you could choose to pedal or not. It was great, you can find it below in amongst previous Vlogs.
Depends where you live in the world; in most of Europe you have to pedal in order to activate the electric assist; in other countries you can use a throttle up to a certain speed; some countries have higher wattage limits for the motor. There was a recumbent tilting trike on display at Spezi with a solar panel; not sure if it will be a factory option; I will show it on my video when I get round to editing it! Due to the low power density of solar PV it makes the most sense in countries with high irradiance. If you look up Velove Armadillo you will see that they have integrated solar PV in some of the quadricycles but it is not a standard feature. A Quattrovelo rider also integrated a solar PV into it's roof, however that, so far, is a one of a kind.Thankfully more designs are emerging whereby the solar PV panel is getting lighter yet are still semi flexible.
@@andrewallen9918 I did find the man behind the tilting trike with solar panels channel its called Daniele G, i will look into Velove Armadillo and the Quattrovelo. Thanks for your time.
Great job John on part 2 . I like how you showed a different perspective of the grounds and activities . This place has the strangest weather , one moment bright sunshine then skies are pouring . Not sure John but aren't you getting a quattro at some point soon ?
I'm thinking of having a look at one of those HPV fs20 tourers. I'm thinking of going touring but I'm finding two wheels is giving me numb toe, neck ache and wrist ache so a trike might be a better choice to avoid these problems. I think there's a place in London where they have these trikes but not sure what the name of the shop is🤔... Do you know what it's called? I live in the Midlands so there is nowhere around me that has them. Great video👍
I’ve never ridden a trike but am very familiar with road cycling long distances and centuries. Also, I’m a new Ebike owner (reise&muller) even sold my car and now Ebike every where and every day. I was searching for ways to enclose my Ebike during the rainy season and happily discovered velomobiles. I have found a used one I want to buy but the seller told me it’s not for beginners. I’m surprised by his comment but wonder if that is true? I’d love your opinion.
@@christineritchie8014 that's absolutely fine as a starter, myself I would probably go for a second hand quest as it's a great Velomobile and you can find cheap secondhand examples occasionally.
velo-ads that’s what I’ve gathered so far. Thanks. And my response to the seller was that I’m actually a decent cyclist so now he’s interested in selling to me. Might get it on Monday. Wish me luck! Yippee!!!
non of those bikes worth that much, motor and couple of pipes, why you selling them with 4000. The price is not logical, only people who don't think in object value buy this bike.
John is a brother!...your videos about velomobiles and bicycles, I think the main interest of your subscribers is focused on looking at bicycles, and you are very much in debt, holding the camera on the uninteresting faces of representatives of this technique, from now on you could not show more what your channel is about, because the stories of interviewers can be kept in the background without showing them for so long. You have a great musical arrangement, thank you, you have good taste! )))))))

Thanks for the video. Your video made me feel like I was actually there. Great presentation and narration.
The sound of that Milan rolling... Lovely

Psst. Your English is not bad at all!
RUclips hat mir grad das video vorgeschlag3en, und ich gleich so: "Hey das ist doch das Velocar vom Kai" ☺

Depending on terrain, but generally yes.

I’ve been binge watching your videos and you’ve persuaded me that I really want a Quattrovelo. If I buy one, I’ll make sure you get commission lol
Love how aero are those trikes and some other EV's! :D

We will share it during this week and such ;)
Thank you so much for the video! Bicicapace's family loves it!

great video again John, like the evo velo but looks a bit tight in there is there any adjustment for taller riders
If I remember rightly the seat moves.

The shop in London is called Bikefix, they are on lambs conduit Street.
Thanks very much👍 I shall give them a call and see if they have one to try next week. Cheers, Nick😎
This may be a dumb question - does the Quattro Velo have front suspension; as well as the rear suspension?
Yes.
Hi John. I like you Videos really much. Thanks for your work. Maybe you can make a longer video about the Milan?
Hi yes I will be getting one sent out to me for a review in the near future.
We love your video!! Thanks for including us!
Now I may have to turn my long wheelbase underseat steer recumbent into a tadpole trike and build a body for it.
Smaller wheels are not just for weight reduction but also faster rotation and easier to accelerate !!!
That Milan Velo was gorgeous! Was it as fast as it looks?
It was unbelievably rapid.
Loving your stuff
Keep it up❤️
You did not see the recumbent trikes and bikes of bike revolution? Full suspension and such? Really?
I want a Velo but they should be way more affordable, it's niche. Especially in USA.
Did Evovelo ever release the open source DIY plans for their Mo car?
I not sure, best to contact them directly.
