Gerat Video Man, Love the team aspect oft his competition. Your videos helped push me into signing up for my first PRS match this past weekend. Finished 46 out of 58. Only place to go is up.

It’s impressive how stable you get on the tripod jimmy

Awesome video! Are all the NRL location equal in terms of difficulty in engaging targets? Is it an equal playing field if say you did one match in OKC, but someone else did one in Utah?

Matches don’t necessarily need to be equal to each other, but the experience by each shooter is essentially the same for all shooters at each individual match. You are only competing against the shooters at the match you are attending. The matches do vary in difficulty based upon location/topography, match director, etc. Matches are generally designed to allow for new shooters to have impacts on steel but also challenge more experienced shooters too. Each match has a lot of new shooters making it a great experience for all attendees. I highly recommend people attend one of these matches without being intimidated. So much fun and you will become more proficient at using your gear for your next hunt at the same time.

Matches vary in difficulty and terrain, but you are ultimately scored compared to how the best shooter scored. So it’s relative to the match. Example, some matches you will have to shoot in an absolute downpour of rain all weekend, otherwise beautiful sunny skies. You are graded based on the top performer that weekend which makes it fair because you performed at xx% compared to the best.

Thanks for bringing us along :D Very entertaining to watch. A dedicated cameraperson would make it even better, so looking forward to the footage from the next match!
I think Taylor would get more hits if he would take 1-3 seconds more time to make a good trigger pull, where he squeeze the trigger instead of slapping it, which pull him off the target. I know it is easier said than done, when the clock is ticking - but a slow hit is better than a fast miss.
Keep up the good work on nice edits with scope footage!

Check out Competition Dynamics Team Safari, similar format and one guy on your team must run a gas gun. BUT, I still think you're on to something with a strictly gas-gun only match. I would sign up in a heartbeat.

Shot calls. Not every shot is perfect , shit happens. If you pull it, let your buddy know so he doesn't give you a correction on a bad shot. Everything else is solid, fantastic communication, good shit.
