I just came across you guys, great video. I've mentioned to a few of the famous YTers that we need to stop giving any attention to the current SW productions. We need to focus on what is good and I think the shit will just fade away. But honestly I bet The Acolyte got MORE attention than it ever would because of all the bad responses. I know it's fun to poke fun at these people, but SW is done for now. Let's all remember/watch the originals and just move on.

The Acolyte made for 15 percent of the audience that liked it according to Rotten Tomatoes. Or is that not how the RT scoring system works for audience score. There is a sizable portion of the audience - including friends of mine and co-workers - who either can't see the DEI-focus of this show, or if they can see it, think that the virtues of race, gender, and sexual orientation are a perfectly valid lens in which to experience Star Wars. Or any IP for that matter. And these are not activists that I'm talking about; these are "normies." I realize this may be anecdotal, but I think it suggests that relentless propaganda works. That's the real success of woke entertainment: the long-term conditioning of consumers at the expense of variable short-term losses. A long game is being played, and we're only in the 3rd inning.
