I absolutely use the Desired over have method. Much more quick and less time consuming especially if you have so many patients. 😭 You need need to be sure tho and knowledgeable about the metric conversions

I was blessed with the ability to calculate all of that in my mind without having to learn any of these steps, I get the right answer every time but I lost so many points on the exam because I don’t remember these and I don’t know how to do it either using these three methods with the exact steps for the exam 😂🤷🏻‍♂️

I start nursing school in May 2025 and I’m trying to get a jump on nursing math. The desired over have formula makes so much more sense for me. Now I just have to work on memorizing conversions. Thank you Nurse Sarah!

I like the desired over have method and the ratio and proportion.
Question: For ratio and proportion method, i thought you can put dose ordered on the bottom and put X above it? Or will it still give you the same answer either way?
