The Gen 5 Gym Leader theme has always been my favorite Gym battle theme. It has the perfect amount of intensity to let you know you’re fighting a powerful Trainer but leaves just a bit out to hint at the Elite Four that’s coming later. And I wish that main Pokémon theme remix that played when their last Pokémon was sent out had been used more than just in this Gen.

For those who didn't experience gen 5 pain's allow me to fill you in. I call this, a world of pain. EMOLGA WITH VOLT SWITCH IS NOTHING TO BE TRIFLED WITH!!!!
I would be a Steel Type Gym Leader named Henry with my Gym located in Anvil Town. I would be working in the Railyard as a mechanic and my Gym would be INSIDE the Anvil Town Round House. Inside the Gym there would be no gym puzzle, no gym trainers, no nonsense and just a straight path forward to battle me. You could challenging it at any point in the game once you have access to Gear Station in Nimbasa City but here's the catch. I would have a full team of six Pokemon and they would all be in their mid Lv. 50's. First would be Scizor, Male, Lv. 53 holding an Occa Berry, Technician for it's Ability with the moves Swords Dance, Bullet Punch, U-Turn and Iron Head. Next would be Ferrothorn, Lv. 54, holding a Rocky Helmet, Iron Barbs for it's Ability with the Moves Stealth Rock, Iron Head, Power Whip and Explosion. Next up would be Skarmory, Female, Lv. 54, holding a Wacan Berry, Sturdy for it's Ability with the moves Spikes, Whirlwind, Iron Head and Aerial Ace. Next is Magnezone, Lv. 55, holding an Air Balloon, Sturdy for it's Ability with the Moves Discharge, Volt Switch, Flash Cannon, and Explosion. Next would be Steelix, Male, Lv. 56, Holding a King's Rock, Sturdy for it's Ability with the Moves Sandstorm, Iron Head, Rock Slide and Crunch. Finally my last Pokemon would be my Ace in the hole, Klinklang, Lv. 57, Holding Leftovers, Plus for it's Ability with the Moves Substitute, Shift Gear, Wild Charge and Gear Grind. My team would be able to to raise their stats, set up Entry Hazards, Switch in and out with other Team members, Switch out your own Pokemon to hurt them with Entry Hazards, cause your Pokemon to Flinch, set up Weather that benefits my entire team, LITERALLY EVERYTHING! You name it, my Pokemon can do it. Naturally this would probably be the hardest battle in the ENTIRE GAME! All the while this would be an OPTIONAL GYM BATTLE LOCATED IN AN OPTIONAL TOWN! Needless to say that you would challenge me last or even in the post game. But if you somehow managed to beat me and defeat my entire team of wrought iron Steel Type Pokemon, I would give you the Smelters Badge which would either function as whatever badge you would receive next or allow you to use any Pokemon at any level and access to the highest Rank of battle in the Battle Subway, as well as the TM for Iron Head, AND 20 Battle Points. So the rewards you receive are well worth it but 🎵good luck trying to beat meeee.🎶Also in case you hadn't noticed yet, my name would be Henry, I specialize in Steel Types, I work with Trains, and I'm Hard as hell to beat in battle. Lenora...? Elesa...? Nope nope nope! The former hits with Hypnosis and Retaliate too often, the latter spams fucking Volt switch, and both have deep scars in my memories... Still, my main generation IS Gen5, so there's that. Always loved it and always has been my most successful. But those flashbacks to the defeats... *shudders in phantom pain*
Just a tip: Use chesto berries while battling Lenora because Watchog has hypnosis and maybe you should use a random Pokémon to waste it's retaliate. I also recommend skipping trainers (if you can) before you get one of the elemantal monkeys so you can go back and get sum levels. As for Elisa, get a ground type and never use a grass type because Zebstrika has flame charge and I'm pretty sure the emolgas have flying type moves. I recommend a Palpitoad for Elisa's gym.
this is the last generation I've enjoyed playing, for me Pokémon died in x & y there's no content in those games, the 3d looks bad the colors, animations... the music in general is decent but nothing comparable with b/w who in my opinion has one of the most memorable soundtracks and remixes. and its being going downhill with the following generations to the point of regretting purchasing sun, and not even consider buying a switch.
